Pinkie and the Queen Part 2

Ok...gonna try writing part 2 for awhile. alittle distracted but eh.

>With Pinkie Promises made. It seemed the "Friendship" was forged. With Pinkie promising to do her best to show the Queen what friendship truly is. And Chrysalis promising to essentially not be an evil cunt. But would she beable to keep such a promise?
"Seeee? was that so hard?"
>Pinkie cheerfully smiled as she leered at Chrysalis
>The queen wanted to heave after such a ridiculous and humiliating display. She slowly glanced over to Pinkie pie and narrowed her eyes at her "You have no idea...."
"come on Chrysiee! Don't be like that? doesn't feel good to make the first step to making friends and being good?"
>Pinkie gave her a genuine smile of good will as she gave her a hug. But Chrysalis would have none of that and pushed Pinkie away.
>"Get off of me! We are NOT friends! And Don't EVER call me that again! you will refer to me as either Queen or Queen Chrysalis.....now then, why don't you start telling me your secrets. Because quite honestly. I don't feel any sense of" and Chrysalis put a mocking tone to these words "caring or friendship"..
"That's because you haven't started being a friend yet! You gotta start being nice. You can be nice can't you?"
>"Hmph.....of course I can. I AM a queen. I am capable of anything I desire. I did manage to defeat your precious Celestia. remember?"Chrysalis smirked at Pinkie, baring a single fang. She gave a slight snicker as she started giving a remembering thought on the matter.
>Pinkie frowned, it wasn't a very happy memory for her.
"You know, that's not a very nice thing to be proud of, that would be like me saying that I found it really funny that you were just kinda standing around when you got blasted away from the castle."
>Pinkie hid her smile at the thought as she said it, as amusing as it was. She wanted to try to change the changeling queen for the better. And showing any enjoyment in mocking her would ruin any progress.

>Chrysalis was not amused either way as she gave a annoyed yet stoic look towards the Pink horse. "hmmnn......let's just get on with it."
>Pinkie snapped to attention with a serious look as she jumped out view and quickly came back with a large chalkboard, wearing a cute pair of glasses as Chrysalis gawked in a small moment of surprise. It was so sudden, and....where did she even find a blackboard all of a sudden?
"Lesson one!"
>Pinkie started writing what she said.
"Being there for a friend! One of the most important thing you can do for a friend is sticking by their side thick and thin! Always willing to offer a helping hoof when they are in need, and always trying to pep em up when they are down!"
>Pinkie turned to Chrysalis
"Now then! ahrhrm! let's try a hypothetical!"
>Pinkie put down the chalk and gave an almost intimidating stare towards the queen. Although Chrysalis felt no fear form it, it did make her feel a tad uneasy. "A Hypothetical? about what exactly?
>Pinkie loomed ever closer to the bugpone, starting to circle her.
"it's the most super serious hypothetical you'll ever know! it can mean the difference between being a good friend and being a real meanie! you're gonna have to think reeeaaalll hard on this one! Do you...."
>Pinkie got closer to the queen and tapped her hoof on her chest multiple times.
"THINK...YOU...CAN..HANDLE..IT???"
>Chrysalis just stared unamused into Pinkie's intense eyes and shoved her hoof away ".....of course I can.....and don't touch me."
>Pinkie simply nodded and started walking back towards the chalkboard, then quickly turned. Pointing at the queen, saying loudly.
"IF YOUR FRIEND WAS SUPER SICK, AND STUCK IN BED AND WOULD REALLY WANT COMPANY AND NOT BE SAD AND LONELY. WHAT WOULD YOU DOOOOOOOOOOOO!?"
>The queen put her dilapidated hoof to her chin and started to think. Quite deeply actually. She was putting some actual thought into it.

>Pinkie stood there, feeling anticipation for the answer the queen would give her.
>Chrysalis nodded, and smiled an almost evil smile towards Pinkie "Well, it's simple really....I'd put them out of their misery."
>Pinkie smiled at those words, those were the words she wanted to hear!....or so she thought
"Wow! I didn't expect that! that's a great answer!"
>Chrysalis chuckled, she felt abit of arrogance within herself as Pinkie smiled at her "Well...that was quite easy indeed. I didn't know being a friend would be so simple."
"See, it's super easy!"
>Pinkie hopped over to her and gave her a gentle hug.
"All you had to do is just be nice, and making a pony not miserable is the best thing you can do! But I'm super curious....."
>Pinkie hopped backwards, her smile never leaving her as she stared into Chrysalis's eyes.
"How would you put them out of their misery? With card tricks? Board games maybe?"
>Chrysalis seemed somewhat confused by those words "Well..no..I'd simply destroy them. No sense in suffering such a bad illness if destruction would relieve them."
>Pinkie froze, as her smile turned to that of small fright.
"Well...that is.....interesting...."
>Pinkie quickly turned around and entered a thinking pose. Trying to figure out a way to turn that thinking around.
> Chrysalis stared at her curiously, walking over to her with a wondering of what was to come next, and if her answer was truly good enough. "Pon...ahrm..Pinkie..Pie. What exactly are you doing? That answer, was the correct one wasn't it?"
>Pinkie took a moment of think before turning back towards her, smiling at her in hope it would ease what she was about to say
"Well...not really. Destroying someone isn't exactly what I'd call "friendly" "
>Chrysalis immediately became annoyed "It's not?! How couldn't it be. you yourself said it was a good answer!"

"Yeah but, I thought you meant putting them out of their misery by making them happy and smiling. There's nothing good about destroying a friend....it'd be sad wouldn't it? Just destroying somepony you know and trust?"
>Chrysalis stopped again and took a moment to think, then gave a gruff as she turned her head "I wouldn't know, I've never had a friend before. Hence why I summoned you here. Why would I care about one friend if I could simply make another?"
"That's just it...you gotta care about a friend for them to be your friend. Just like that somepony has to care about you to be their friend. I mean, you said you wanted to do this for you and your hive. You care about your hive, don't you? You gotta care about something."
>Pinkie was serious, it was breaking her heart coming to realize that Chrysalis was seemingly so blackhearted.
>".....hrn...I suppose I do care if I am here. What else could it be? But that doesn't mean I should care about friends. I just need the love from it"
"But Chryssie, without care, you can't love. Love isn't just a food. It's a feeling!"
>Pinkie moved close and poked her hoof on Chrysalis's chest
"A feeling you feel right here! that makes you feel good and gooey and happy"
>Chrysalis scoffed "That's alittle to much to ask when it comes to a changeling. Is there no simpler way?"
>Pinkie didn't exactly hear her as she continued her speech.
"I mean, I feel so bad. I really do. To the point that knowing how you feel. Now that we're friends. If I knew you were super sick, I would brave anything just to get where you were at and take care of you and make you smile and laugh just so you can feel every bit better! nopony deserves to feel empty inside like that."

>Chrysalis was in disbelief, that sounded absurd "please, you expect me to believe that just because we're friends right now. That if I was sick, that'd you brave the Everfree and come to my castle just to take care of me? how utterly stupid! What do you take me for? an idiot?"
>Pinkie shook her head furiously, she was quite serious
"No, I'm telling you the truth for sure! If it meant even just you feeling a tiny bit better and smiling through it. Then I'd be there for you!"
>Chrysalis stopped, it was processing through her head very slowly. And she couldn't decide how serious Pinkie Pie was. But, she thought she could feel something inside her body just now. a small warming feeling."hrn... I suppose...that would be acceptable. I'd have to make sure my children don't tear you apart when you arrive.....hypothetically...of course"
>Pinkie started to smile, even if it was small. That was the nicest thing she has heard Chrysalis say so far. It...was heartwarming to say the least.
"Do you really mean that?"
>Chrysalis look to the side, feeling a tad embarrassed "Is that what a friend would do?"
"It's a start! but yup! and you know what would be really nice?"
>Chrysalis continued to look away "W-what?"
"if ya let me call ya Chryssie!"
>Chrysalis's eye twitched as she looked back at Pinkie with anger "Why would I let you do that? I had already told you no!"
"Awww come on, it sounds alot nicer. It makes you sound less villainanananee...I think that's a word"
>Pinkie giggled, hoping it would lighten her mood. To her surprise, Chrysalis did seem to enter thought about it.
>Chrysalis sighed "Does my name really seem that evil?, I would think it was a good name."
"Oh it's a good name, but uhhmmm...alot of ponies sort of associate it with bad stuff. But Chryssie sounds great and cute! it's perfect! what do you think? Come on! don't be such a grouch."

>Chrysalis pondered, it donned on her that it would seem alittle evil if she had done evil in the name of her.....well...name. "Does my name really bring fear into ponie's hearts?"
"sorta...yeah"
>Chrysalis almost snickered, but quickly caught herself and cleared her throat "I suppose in the interest of...friendship...and not scaring pathetic little ponies...then Chryssie will work....for now.....I suppose"
>Pinkie immediatly jumped and snuggled into Chrysalis, despite her tough exoskeleton shell. It had no effect in repelling the snuggles.of the pink horse. In Pinkie's mind. Progress was already being made.
>"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! STOP THAT IMMEDIATLY!"
>As Chrysalis tried to shake Pinkie off of her, that small feeling of warmth started to return to her. It was easy yet aggravating at the same time to ignore. She could sense it as food. But something else seemed to have kept her from having even a taste of it yet. She couldn't grasp what the feeling was....But perhaps soon...she would find out.
