- Background: Ilseoul was born and raised in Busan, South Korea. Her parents are both well known restaurant owners in the city. She is the youngest out of 4 children in her family. She has three older brothers and her oldest brother is 24. She studied in New Zealand for four years in High School. Ilseoul also had a passion for music and learned how to play the guitar when she was 14. When she heard about JYP having auditions near where she lived,and she immediately tried out. About a week later she got a letter saying she was accepted!
