  1. im getting my phd and worked up until a bit ago, my program requires us to have a 3.0 GPA too. i had to make an extremely tough decision like this recently as well so i know it's hard. it required a lot of thinking about what was required and what i required of myself. how much of what i was doing was actually necessary and how much was my own issues.
  2.
  3. first, lay out your program's actual requirements and timetable. do the bare minimum to pass and graduate. wherever you can cut, cut. whenever a project is done and good enough, turn it in. i associated my self worth with my grades for a loooong time, and eventually i had to realize that i was the only thing on earth telling myself i was not good enough.
  4.
  5. second, make a budget. doesnt have to be exact, but enough for you to get an idea. what do you need? what can you cut back? make sure you include in needs self-care things. do i NEED my itunes and photoshop subs? no. would my life be worse without them? yes. they stay. you can use the MINT app to help with this. itll connect to your bank and show you exactly where youre using your money
  6.
  7. third, budget your time. from x to y youll be doing a. get a calendar app and a planner - i use my app to remind and my hard-copy planner to organize. whatever tasks fit in the space provided for that day, thats all im doin!
  8.
  9. once you know what you need for school and work and youve figured out what days you do what, youll have a good solid grasp on your situation. then you can make further cuts. do you quit a job? do you go part time? do you HAVE to do 6 classes and work 2-3 jobs and if so how will taking time off benefit you? will it just be a vacation or does it solve things long-term? speaking of vacations: always have a YOU day. however much you can, kick and fight and scream to have 1 day you dont do anything.
  10.
  11. i dont know your situation, but these things helped me a lot
