(3:43:11 PM) ***Blueshift_North is waiting in whatever space, real, or virtual she agreed to meet Yellow in.  She checks the time.
(3:45:08 PM) Ikiryo: It's nearly midday. Yellow managed to get some time off and is visiting Sigil in person.
(3:47:39 PM) Ikiryo: It's about ten minutes later when she spots a daffodil-yellow haired girl heading toward the ship.
(3:47:57 PM) ***Blueshift_North steps out to meet her.  "Uh.  Hey." She waves.
(3:49:20 PM) Ikiryo: She heads over, giving North a nervous smile. "How are you?"
(3:49:32 PM) Ikiryo: She's dressed in a simple set of jeans and a t-shirt.
(3:50:16 PM) Blueshift_North: ". . .Better than I was the last time we talked." She runs a hand through her hair, awkwardly.  "That's. . . not hard, but.  I'm  better though."
(3:52:17 PM) Ikiryo: She nods, offering North a hug
(3:52:51 PM) ***Blueshift_North accepts.  "I think I lucked out a lot.  I. . . have a really good support network in the form of good friends."
(3:54:26 PM) Ikiryo: "Sorry I couldn't be here for you more."
(3:56:22 PM) Blueshift_North: "It's fine.  You don't need to apologize for being busy.  Lord knows I am now.  Did I tell you I'm caring for a small child and a kitten now? Well, also the kitten is caring for me, but."
(4:00:40 PM) Ikiryo: "...a child? You adopted a child?" She seems shocked
(4:06:11 PM) Blueshift_North: "I mean.  I got tricked into it by a person I never met, and by tricked I mean I found her hiding in same room as her mother's murdered. . . body, so like.  Yeah what else am I going to do." She shrugs, helplessly.  "I also spoke with me from before I lost my memories.  I-" She cuts herself off. "She was a bitch."
(4:12:08 PM) Ikiryo: "She was?" She resumes the hugging
(4:15:36 PM) Blueshift_North: "I mean she started getting at me about having friends and how she didn't think any of my sisters were hers, and like.  Not wanting to be a host to my creator, but.  Like.  Okay she's gone.  She's gone and I'm not.  I'm here and I have people who I care about.  Anyway we should probably stop just standing around, you came all this way, what do you want to do? Talking is nice, but like.  I know it's not easy for

(4:17:18 PM) Ikiryo: "Honestly, anything as long as it doesn't involve running about like crazy." She smiles
(4:18:46 PM) Blueshift_North: "Get some food, figure that out, and you can stop pretending you're not horrified by the idea of me caring for a young child?"

(4:23:17 PM) Blueshift_North: "I'm getting advice! Doctor Sunstar sent me a book."
(4:23:37 PM) Blueshift_North: "And people who have been children keep giving me important advice."
(4:25:31 PM) Ikiryo: "...that second part isn't as comforting as I think you intended it to be."
(4:27:42 PM) Blueshift_North: "Look.  I. . . maybe didn't actually think this through but like.  Okay with the uh." She snaps.  "Dark. . . pop. . . boys.  Having got her mom, she needs to be somewhere safe and they're evidentially afraid of me."
(4:29:59 PM) Ikiryo: She nods. "Right. I mean...we could look after her, if you want.""
(4:34:52 PM) Blueshift_North: "Changing things up too much might be a bad idea right now? I don't. . . think I can properly raise her, full time, I'm realizing, but like.  That might be a good idea a little bit down the line? I also kind of don't want to take her away from her school because like what if she has friends there and oh gods I don't even know how that works and oh god I am not even remotely equipped for this." She sighs.
(4:35:21 PM) Ikiryo: The hugging resumes.
(4:36:52 PM) Blueshift_North: "In my defense this isn't something I've thought about, because I was never a child and cannot produce one.  But like. I don't want her to think I don't care, I do it's just that.  I am not a good fit for children."
(4:37:59 PM) Ikiryo: She nods. "If you can't, there is no shame in that. It's up to you."
(4:40:22 PM) Blueshift_North: "I. . . hrm.  I can drop her off when I go to take the Shadow Realm Rocker Boyz off the charts, as a temporary thing because I don't know if I want her in the same system as the man who killed her mother, but I have to take care of that because they're hunting Clayr which I didn't know I was one but I guess I am and now I'm attached to that part of my identity?"
(4:40:49 PM) Ikiryo: "That was a mouthful." She smiles.
(4:41:39 PM) Blueshift_North: "Yeah well, bonuses of not having to breathe technically.  I don't need to stop to take a breath and can keep talking for literally hours without pausing.  I won't, but."

(4:43:23 PM) Blueshift_North: "Yeah, that might be a good move. Ack, gods, sorry I've been babbling.  How have you been?"

(4:48:24 PM) Blueshift_North: "That could be fun? I don't do a lot of concerts.  Or perform all that much despite Adelinda trying to upload videos of me seeing when she pressures me by asking once and making a face because I'm a sucker to do something."

(4:51:11 PM) Blueshift_North: "Okay good, at least one of the skills I've had jammed into my skull due to my experiences with needles and brainwashing AIs I later rescued is useful."

(4:52:24 PM) Blueshift_North: "Oh no, I'm not knocking that, I'm knocking the ability to move in heels, strip, and flirt.  Which, you might have noticed I don't super do a lot of any of those."

(4:58:23 PM) Blueshift_North: "Yeah, I guess I can do those.  I don't know, I don't have any, even if I did spice up my wardrobe recently." She spins a little, her coat flaring out, because of course she likes it when it does that, she's a dork.
(4:59:25 PM) Ikiryo: She snickers. "I noticed. Purple is very disappointed in your choices."
(5:03:09 PM) Blueshift_North: "Oh nooooo." A beat.  "Please don't tell her to call Empress Stingray, who would probably find a way to make me going into the music industry sound like a reasonable option."
(5:04:27 PM) Ikiryo: "Purple thinks it would be great." She rolls her eyes.
(5:05:39 PM) Blueshift_North: "Yeah well.  I don't know her, so I can't care about her opinion."

(5:12:45 PM) Blueshift_North: "Uh excuse me this coat flares out dramatically when I'm moving fast, like on a motorcycle, and some of the others lend gravitas when I want to be dramatic." She sticks her tongue out at her friend.
(5:13:50 PM) Ikiryo: "And how many times have you gotten stuck in automatic doors with it?"
(5:15:59 PM) Blueshift_North: "Zero.  Automatic doors are easy to hack."
(5:16:47 PM) Ikiryo: She rolls her eyes. "Of course. So, anything you want to do?"
(5:17:48 PM) Blueshift_North: "I'm good with anything, really.  Anything you want to see in Sigil that you don't get a chance to on tour?"
(5:18:51 PM) Ikiryo: "Something decently quiet and where I don't need to run about. Beyond that, I'm up for anything."
(5:21:41 PM) Blueshift_North: "There's a small, out of the way arcade we can hit up that's not too far away." Her motorcycle rounds the corner, idling.
(5:22:42 PM) Ikiryo: "Sounds fun to me." She nods. "I don't think anyone will recognise me."
