  5. Because it wasn't saved:
  6.
  7. Imagine, if you will, the following:
  8. >having had enough of Vox's frankly revolting suggestion about how he should "expand" his business, Val decides to bite the bullet, and asks Gospel to exorcise the perv out of his associate
  9. >Gospel, well versed in the practices of many denominations, dons the Orthodox robes, and (with some help from Val and Angel) blesses Vox in his sleep
  10. >three days later, Val returns, practically begging Gospel to change Vox back
  11. >turns out, blessing him has turned the feared TV demon into a demure, polite, and somewhat effeminate servant (almost like a personal assistant, with all the chipperness of Clippy), with a more brighter color scheme
  12. >his complete 180 is freaking everyone out, including Katie Killjoy, who now acts like she's walking on eggshells around him, paranoid that either this is a ruse to get his employees to chimp out, or his transformation is wholly dependent on how he's treated
  13. >Tom just acts polite and honest with him, happy that their boss is finally approachable
  14. >Vox, in general, seems far happier
  15. >Velvet is taking it the worst - she had isolated herself, and despite Vox and Val's best attempts, she's still freaking out, tearfully demanding the "real Vox", not the "Watershed version"
  16. >upon surveying the damage, Gospel turns to Lucifer for help, but the Devil just shrugs
  17. >"You've got yourself a First One, because I've never had to deal with this. My suggestion is to corrupt him - in any way you can."
  18.
  19. >and thus began Watershed!Vox's (Wox's?) Week of Debauchery
  20. --
  21. >Wonder what watershed versions of the other characters would be like.
  22. ---
  23. From the last thread:
  24.

  26. >Ezekiel shrinks at the glare his older brother is giving him
  27. “H-hey, come on Mike! It’s just a threat letter! Nothing we haven't dealt with before!”
  28. >Micheal lets out an angry his and slaps his brother across the face
  29. >”Ussse your damned brain for once! Think for a sssecond, this is a check and threat from the goddamned devil'sss daughter. If we refuse the money and her demandsss, that sssendsss a messsage.”
  30. >Ezekiel glances up at his frustrated brother, who is now pacing around
  31. >”It sssaysss that we don’t ressspect the royal family, that we are ABOVE them. Now, you've been here longer than me, you remember Dessspair and Acedia?”
  32. “Yes, what are you getting at?”
  33. >”The sssinnersss in charge of those sssectorsss conssstantly disssobeyed and insulted Lucifer and Lillith at any chance they got. And then what happened? What happened Ezekiel?”
  34. >Ezekiel pauses and remembers that time and freezes
  35. “They both died… and the sectors rotted away…”
  36. >”Exactly. Now, Valentino'sss debt isss paid off WITH INTERESSST. We give him to the princesss and that’sss that. Do I make myssself clear?”
  37. “Yes…”
  38. >”Good.”
  39. >The room remains quiet
  40. >”I apologize for ssstriking you.”
  41. “It’s fine. Lets just give that monster the roach.”
  42.
  43. Cont.
  44. -
  45. >Val wasn't alone
  46. >he immediately noticed the feeling of two bodies on either side of him the moment he returned to consciousness
  47. >he frowned, a carefully cracked his eye open
  48. >...good, the light wasn't harsh, at least
  49.
  50. >...he didn't think he'd be able to withstand any harsh light at the moment
  51. >the air was cool, with little airflow - he was inside, and, judging by the smell, the building he was in was old, though, not ill-kept
  52. >as his sense trickled back trough the haze, he took note of the feeling of fabric on his body - a coat, much like his old one, though, made of a thinner, softer material - silk, perhaps?
  53. >the furry collar of it was definitely smaller - it felt almost like a bathrobe
  54. >the lack of stuffy warmth atop his head, and the fact that he could freely move his antennae told him that he was hatless, and the lack of weight on his face (and the lack of pink in his vision) indicated that he didn't have his shades, either
  55. >staring at the floor while his vision cleared, he observed the many cracks and marks on the ancient boards
  56. >he could feel all four of his arms, both of his legs, and...
  57. >...!
  58. >he almost wanted to strip, but quickly decided against it - something told him it wouldn't be a good idea
  59. >...but he had his dick back!
  60. >in an instant, he felt like his strength had been restored, and all was right in the world!
  61. >he was whole and complete again, a man again, ready to take on the world...!
  62.
  63. >...and then, he looked up
  64.
  65. Cont.
  66. -
  67. >fencing Val from either side, the two other bodies stirred
  68. >Vox was the first to come to - he came to his consciousness a bit faster than the insect, and his vision cleared far quicker...
  69. >...but that just made him realize the changes far faster
  70. >instead of his usual suit, he wore a far simpler pair of black pants, with a belt, rather than suspenders. and simple white shirt
  71. >he could also distinctly feel that his screen was different - not the same, flat television screen as it was before, though it's dimensions remained largely the same
  72. >bringing a claw up to it, he could feel smooth metal instead of plastic
  73. >Velvet was the last one to recover
  74. >she was back in her old clothes - or so she thought
  75. >they felt lighter, as if the material was of a higher quality
  76. >her head felt lighter, too, and an idle touch revealed exactly why: her hair was much shorter, her pigtails now "only" reaching the middle of her back
  77. >their minutes of self-rediscovery where cut short, as they, too, looked up
  78.
  79. >they sat on a fancy, old fashioned sofa, something that looked like it belonged into summer house than inside an old mansion
  80. >they were in the middle of a pool of light, white light - and a glance further up would've revealed the milkglass cupola and roof lantern high above them, at the center of a sunroof structure, the filtered the reddish hues of Hell
  81.
  82. >but they dared not let their eyes, as a figure stepped out of the shadows - the dimensions of the room immeasurable
  83. >she stopped in front of the trio, who at this point had forgotten to breathe
  84.
  85. >it was Charlie - calm and without her coat, her expression stoic
  86. >hands behind her back, her gaze slipped between the three, before finally settling on Val
  87. >without further ado, she began:
  88.
  89. "Your debt has been repaid, with interest, to Ezekiel and Michael..."
  90.
  91. Cont.
  92. -
  93. >Val could only stare blankly, as the Princess went on
  94. "You may also be happy to hear that their actions have also drawn the attention of the Mammon family, who now have vested interests in their operations... And are thus, now practice a stronger oversight on their actions."
  95. >the insect demon still couldn't believe his ears, even as she continued, now addressing the surprised Vox
  96. "In your absence, your dealings have been audited."
  97. >she spoke severely to the TV demon
  98. "You have been relinquished of your corporate possessions, your media empire has been dissolved into several companies, none of which you own, but all of which you are a shareholder of. You're the majority shareholder of Valentino's studio, AND of 666 News, the ownership of which has been passed to Katie Killjoy and Tom Trench. Coincidentally, your contracts with them have been rendered null and void. All of the studio's contracts with the employees, such as the general staff, actors, performers, and the like, has been rendered null and void - they are now ONLY bound by legal contract, which has been personally audited and edited by me. Your other investments and uninvested wealth, bank accounts and properties, have been left as-is."
  99. >as Vox was left to digest what they had heard, Charlie's gaze shifted back to Val
  100. "Your studio has been restored and inspected for further structural damage, which it passed. Your contract with Angel Dust has been rendered null and void, and the contracts of all your other employees have been revised to be STRICTLY legal contracts, no dealing with souls involved."
  101. >she paused for a second
  102. "...In light of your... Accident, Asmodeus was willing to lessen the demands placed upon you by your contract with him, furthermore, your contract with Beelzebub has been rendered null and void - you're free of his influence."
  103. >the insect blinked, unable to process all at once, not even noticing as the other two looked at him with surprise
  104. -
  105. >Charlie wasn't done yet - she looked back at Vox, who stiffened up under her gaze
  106. >the shadow of a smile passed through her face, but she quickly resumed her stoic frown
  107. "Likewise, your contract with Astaroth has been re-negotiated, with several demands placed upon you lightened to reflect your altered status in the industry. However..."
  108. >and her voice quieted a bit, as her gaze turned somewhat awkward and apologetic
  109. "In order for these demands to be accepted, he demanded to have you as the... Consort... For his female avatar... I believe you already know her."
  110. >Vox's eyes widened - from media magnate to the husband of Ishtar, in only a couple of minutes
  111. >how long was he out?!
  112. "Report to the Apiary Institute in Avarice the first thing tomorrow, for your full initiation and the official acceptance of your role."
  113. >Charlie went on, before adding, with a smirk:
  114. "I hope you'll have a long-lasting and fulfilling marriage. Congratulations, to both of you!"
  115.
  116. >there was a faint chuckle, accompanied by radio static
  117. >Vox's eyes narrowed, as he began to scan the darkness, and soon, he found what he was looking for: a pair of red, glowing eyes, accompanied by a row of jagged, glowing yellow teeth
  118. >Charlie glanced back behind her shoulder, and the eyes and mouth grew dark again, radio static fading into silence
  119. >she turned back then, her eyes finally settling on Velvet, who, like the other two, stiffened up, staring wide-eyed at the Princess - like a deer in the headlights
  120. "Your possessions and articles of wealth have been left as-is, your accounts have been audited but the inspection came to no damning conclusion, so they have been left open and unedited, and your bank accounts are open and unaltered. HOWEVER!"
  121. >the harlequin jolted, as the Princess suddenly raised her voice
  122. "You've caught the eyes of... Azazel."
  123. >Vox and Val's eyes widened, and Velvet shrunk in her seat, going pale
  124. -
  125. >Charlie smiled
  126. "As you may know, he's a very high ranking, ancient demon, within the closest circle of my father, beyond the Seven, even beyond Beelzebub and Astaroth!"
  127. >Velvet grew paler and paler
  128. >Charlie's smile grew into a grin
  129. "He is amongst the ranks of Apollyon, Samael, and, of course, Lucifer himself."
  130.
  131. >while Vox could only stare, and Velvet seemed to crumble into herself, Valentino gave the Princess a bemused look
  132. >"So, is he like Merlin or Himmler to him?" he asked, dispassionately.
  133. >Charlie frowned, briefly, but then resumed her grin
  134. "Despite being an all-powerful demon, he is a bit behind the times."
  135. >she admitted, with a wry smile
  136. "He likes to learn about the "modern majicks" of technology and telecommunications, and has recently found interest in social media."
  137. >she narrowed her eyes, her grin broadening, revealing her sharp fangs and molars
  138. "That, I believe, is your field of expertise."
  139. >Velvet shrunk further, idly nodding
  140. "In exchange, he's willing to offer you his own knowledge, without the commission of your soul."
  141. >Charlie added, before giving her a soft smile
  142. "Not an offer I would refuse..."
  143. >Velvet nodded fervently, and stared, along with the others, as the blonde stepped back
  144.
  145. "With that, you're all free to leave. Your vocations, and, in the case of one of you, your marital obligations await you. I wish you all a pleasant day...!"
  146.
  147. >suddenly her expression darkened
  148. >in the blink of an eye, her horns tore through the skin of her temples, and her eyes turned red
  149. >even in the darkness, they could see the dark silhouette of the three pair of seraph wings behind her, as she stood, slightly hunched forward
  150. >they trembled, as she spoke, her voice a cold fire lapping at their souls
  151.
  152. "A͠nd ̀if yo͡u DAR͟E̶ c̕r̷o͠s̸s͠ m͟e ag͘ain,̕ ͝Į'̵ll s͠eę to ̕i̢t̕ that U̢̢n̶͡cl̸e̷̡͡ ̛Şa̵̸͘tą̛n̶̷͡e̵͞l̸̢͜ w͡il͘l ́ha͘v̧e r͢ec̢e̸iv̧e ̵t͠he neẃ play͢t͢h̴ing̶s̨ ̴he ̷d͠esíres̷.

  154. Relevant stuff:
  155.
  156. >"You may also be happy to hear that their actions have also drawn the attention of the Mammon family, who now have vested interests in their operations... And are thus, now practice a stronger oversight on their actions."
  157. How bad is this for them? Or is it a good thing?
  158. --
  159. Having the Prince of Greed and his "family" of epithets watch over you?
  160. A blessing and a curse.
  161. Blessing, since their operations are now under the watchful eye of the demon who controls wealth itself.
  162. Curse, because THEY'RE also under the watchful eye of the demon who controls wealth itself.
  163. --
  164. You know what would make this whole thing worse?
  165. >Alastor gave niffty and husk over to the snakes to repay their debts
  166. >Why?
  167. >Alastor.
  168. --
  169. >Ezekiel and Michael stare at the radio demon in shock
  170. >Michael takes the two sinners contracts and rips them in half
  171. "Debts repaid. Get out."
  172. >Alastor simply shrugs
  173. >"Oh well, nothing entertaining here now."
  174. --
  175. There was this pic of a fully demonic charlie that was posted here a long time ago that I can't find for the life of me. But it was drawn almost exactly how you described her in part 1
  176. --
  177. (pic related)
  178. --
  179. It isn't really how I described her - she looked more closer to an Exterminator in my mind, but naked, and with bleeding eyes.
  180. --
  181. >Alastor gives Niffty and Husk away
  182. wow didn't know he wanted to share the fate of Vox and Val
  183.
  184. >"Where's Niffty and Husk?"
  185. >"How do you think I paid off their debts?"
  186. >Alastor dies
  187. --
  188. Would be nice to see him get what's coming to him for acting so uppity.
  189. --
  190. >Depowered alastor gets dropped onto the floor in front of the snakes
  191. >Micheal is oddly cheery
  192. "Oh my deer friend, you have no idea what you're in for."
  193. >The gold snake shows Alastor a picture of a large dig site in the Wastes
  194. "You have the 'privilege' of going to the first mine in the Wastes!"
  195. >He then shows a chart of various metals and materials
  196. "Our survey team found iron, nickel, copper, silver and..."
  197. >The snake shivers in delight
  198. "Gohohohollllld... Ahem, and you are on the first transport to it!"
  199. >Micheal leans in close to Alastors face and chuckles
  200. "I hope you enjoy blistering heat and cheap equipment. And the best part?"
  201. >He stands back up and shows Alastor a piece of paper with the signature of Momman on it
  202. "It's completely legal and authorized."
  203. -
  204. About a month later
  205. >the emaciated, skeletal figure drops before Charlie, curling up into a ball, his face on the floor
  206. >his entire body is covered by the pockmarks of old blisters, his knees, elbows, hands and feet are covered in dirty, infected gashes amid cracked callous skin
  207. >most of his hair is missing, the ragged mop that remains on his scalp (along with the few tufts of fur on his ears) are covered with layers upon layers of dirt
  208. >his horns have been broken off, and filed down to stumps, his tail has been docked, and he looks like he hadn't seen food or water in years - his skin is flaky, burnt and dirty, with heavy necrosis around several wounds
  209. >his breathing is ragged and shallow - but you can still just h e a r the smile in it
  210. >that's about the only thing that tells her that it's Alastor - he looks more like someome who'd just been freed from a concentration camp or gulag
  211.
  212. >Charlie surveys him, calmly, while the two snakes stand behind him, exchanging increasingly perturbed glances
  213. >they expected... a bit more emotion from the Princess
  214.
  215. >finally, Michael speaks up, clearing his throat to grab Charlie's attention, the slow motion of first her eyes locking on his own, then her head tilting up to meet her gaze causing the brothers to tense up
  216. >"He's... Not exactly mining stock." he says, after a long pause - his voice sounding awkward, almost apologetic, like he has to admit a mistake
  217. >Charlie remains stoic, glancing back down at the former deer demon
  218. >his nerve getting the better of him, Ezekiel speaks up:
  219. >"We've returned the cat and the cyclops, as requested - not a hair out of place on them, heh..."
  220. >Charlie remains silent
  221. >then...
  222.
  223. "And, their debt?"
  224.
  225. >Ezekiel gulps, while Michael feels his mouth run dry
  226. >"W-Wiped away, or-or rather, paid back!"
  227. >he lets out a nervous chuckle, and wipes his face down with kerchief
  228. >"As rubbish as a workmule he was, he still did the lion's share of the work, especially the first week." Michael added
  229. --
  230. >News gets out of what happened to alastor
  231. >Suddenly almost any sinner with any kind of debts paid them off
  232. >The deal welchers are shit out if luck however
