BACKGROUND :
ㅡ kazuo was born into a family that earned its riches in the misfortune of others. his father was a prominent man a gang who ran a sex trafficking ring. kazuo hated his father growing up, not because of his job, but because of the lack of affection. his mother coddled him, and kazuo loved her, she was the only reason he hadn't ran away sooner. when he was sixteen, they were shopping together in the market when his mother was a targeted victim of gang violence--some sort of revenge against his father. with nothing left tying him down, kazuo stole nearly 50k from his fathers bank account and was on a plane to seoul within the month. he hasn't heard from his father since.

despite his familial ties to gang related activities, kazuo was not involved in anything until he was seventeen, when he fought a man in a bar (woo for being tall and having a fake id). it was fairly one-sided, kazuo was just a rage fueled kid going up against a twenty-something year old who obviously had some experience given how he was basically just toying with the kid by the end of it.

kazuo loved gang life, loved the thrill it gave him and the bond he had with the others. he settled in quickly and it went downhill just as fast. only eight months in, he and a few of his "brothers" were jumped late at night and hospitalized. kazuo was suprised he didn't die, and was left with a nasty scar on his left side. it was a wakeup call somewhat and after getting street casted, kazuo decided to entertain the thought of life as an idol, leaving behind the "darker" part of his life.


PERSONALITY :
— he's quite cautious and wary by nature, distrusting of those he doesn't have ties too and generally just acts uninterested. while he has a great memory for memorizing facts and lyrics, he often forgets small things and is prone to freaking out whenever he's 'lost' his phone (only to find that it's in his hand).

while he's not much of a social butterfly outside of his small friend group, kazuo does enjoy the company of others and making conversation with other trainees. his quiet demeanor often turns people away from him, but kazuo is quite sweet and sentimental towards those that give him the time of day. when he wants you to do something for him, chances are that he'll sweet talk you into doing it. his best defense is killing you with kindness, widely known for his sweet words but kazuo comes off as a bit of a contradiction with his quick tongue towards his friends when they throw remarks.

he doesn't crave attention but kazuo hates being ignored. he's competitive, ambitious to furthur his dreams into motion. his temper is a little heated, and he's quick to be annoyed, a trait that doesn't fare well for others; kazuo has proven that he has the bite to match his bark. when he's angry, kazuo is unpredictable and it's hard to tell when and if he'll "strike".
