  1. Cmdrtebok, while what you said sounds nice, I don't believe it's really realistic, nor do I agree with it.

  3. First off, how can the moderators be the same as normal players...they have access to different forums, and have modding tools, and are expected to act as a model minecrafter (whatever the hell that means). Sure, it's nice to say "even though you have all these resources that normal users don't, are expected to act to a certain standard, and you're apart of the staff on the site (a small percentage of the population here) you're an equal," but I, and quite a few others have talked and see this as one of the major issues with RedditMC.

  5. I firmly believe that moderators should not be friends, just because you can get on Mumble and buddy up with the admins, or other moderators, should never qualify you to become a moderator. You should make people moderators who think differently, constructively, and have leadership skills and ideas that naturally push them to the top of the server. You know the people I'm talking about. While your average joe Minecrafter might be a decent person, a law abiding player, and have a bunch of hours logged, that alone should not set off a lightbulb in your heads saying, HEY! Let's make this person a moderator.

  7. You cannot build a community of equals without having a firm, unified staff that works as a team, not a bunch of zealots who rule with an iron fist and won't hear any criticism, or any chance. Being stuck in your ways has never gotten anyone anywhere.

  9. Please do listen, if not to me than to all others who share similar ideas. I love the nerd.nu community and servers, I want the best for them, as I'm sure you all do as well, so please, make some changes, get some shit done, and get this place working as a fine tuned machine…the current engine is about to die.
