  1. >You are Anon, the human
  2. >And you LOVE Pinkie Pie's parties!
  3. >They are simply the best!
  4. >She always brings over the best friends, knows just what to serve, and plays the best games!
  5. >Sometimes, she seems to fidget or twitch a bit, but she comes right back to the party.
  6. >And you have so much fun!
  7. >She introduced you to this Prench lady who has the most adorable accent, and a figure to die for.
  8. >You two were an almost an item, but she hooked up with someone who had a bit more of a tough edge to him
  9. >He was a nice guy at heart, though, and you were happy for them!
  10. >And your happiness made Pinkie Pie happy, so that was good.
  11. >You were getting to be the life of the parties she held
  12. >You always remained sober, though, in order to tell her all the embarrassing things
  13. >All in all, life was good.
  14. >But. . .nothing was perfect.
  15.
  16. >Sometimes, Pinkie's old friends came along
  17. >They were SUCH a drag
  18. >Trying to break up your parites and getting her to spend time with them
  19. >Pinkie Pie didn't WANT to spend time with her old LAME friends any more
  20. >She said that so many times! And all of her new friends, you included, told her that you didn't need those old friends any more
  21. >She was happy with her new friends and all the fun that you had!
  22. >So why should she bother with all those old ones, right?
  23. >You wished it was that simple.
  24. >Each time her old friends came over, she spaced out for longer and didn't quite join the dances or games as much
  25. >She almost seemed to be on the verge of tears at times, but she went back into the party without skipping a beat.
  26. >When you tried to talk about her old friends, she just scoffed and said she made new ones.
  27. >And, something about that didn't quite sit well with you
  28. >After she said that she made you. . .you started to notice odd things.
  29. >Her mane seemed. . flatter.
  30. >Your friends seemed to be jerky and moved like they were artificial
  31. >The music was the same, and the cakes were just left overs from previous parties
  32. >Some of them were even stale!
  33. >Every night, when the parties stopped and you all went to bed, you stared at the ceiling, just. . .thinking.
  34. >And one night, it dawned on you.
  35.
  36.
  37. >You were cleaning up after one of Pinkie Pies parties and flagged her down for a chit chat.
  38. >"Heya Nonny! What's up with you?" She asked, her usual sing song voice making you smile, but it faded quickly.
  39. "Not much. . .but, I gotta ask. Why are you doing all this?"
  40. >"Well, DUH. Because I want to show my friends a good time! And what better way to do that than with a party!
  41. "No, no. . .I mean, why are you doing all this? You've made new friends, but. . .you shouldn't ignore your old ones."
  42. >Her expression seemed to sour a bit. "Why would I want anything to do with them! They don't like me any more, and they would never come to my parties even if their life depended on it!"
  43. "So you think. . .but, if they didn't really care about you, why do they come by so often?"
  44. >She seemed to want to say something, but she couldn't quite find the words.
  45. "They still care about you, Pinkie Pie. They always have."
  46. >". . .but, who needs them when I have you all? You are all such good friends. . .!"
  47. "But, you made us. We aren't really your friends, are we?"
  48. >She seemed to tear up, knowing the weight of your words.
  49. >You knew them too.
  50. "You have to go back to them. It's not healthy, staying here every day, all the time. . .you've even worried the Cakes. Staying here isn't good for you."
  51. >"B-but. . .what'll happen when I go back?"
  52. ". . .I don't know. But I do know one thing."
  53. >She looked at you inquisitively her beautiful blue eyes all misty
  54. "You'll be happy."
  55. >She couldn't hold back now, and embraced you, staining your clothes with her tears
  56. >After she let it all out, you finished cleaning up the mess, and she agreed to go out tomorrow.
  57. >She slept peacefully that night for the first time in months
  58.
  59. >Your friends didn't take too kindly to your actions, to say the least
  60. >"Youse gunna kill us all, ya mook!" Said the rocky one.
  61. >"How could you do zuch a thing!" Said the Prench lady
  62. >You tried to explain to them your way was better, that she would truly be happy when she left
  63. >But they would not hear it
  64. >They cursed, shouted, and beat you
  65. >You escaped their wrath after a while, and were left in your own space within her mind
  66. >You were scared, to be sure.
  67. >When she left. . .it would all be over, for all of you
  68. >But, she made you her friend so she could be happy, and being with her old friends would make her happy
  69. >The others were simply being greedy, you supposed, but you couldn't blame them
  70. >The fate that awaited you was uncertain, and we all feared the unknown.
  71. >Dawn came, and Pinkie Pie was rose around noon as usual
  72. >During the daily 12 cups of espresso, the others tried desperately to talk her out of leaving
  73. >But she had made her mind up, and she had loaded up her Party Canon with her special Surprise Ammo
  74. >As she strode toward the door, you saw her mane and tail poof back up, like you remembered.
  75. >As she opened the door, she looked back at you, smiling tearfully one last time
  76. >You wanted to give her something good to remember, so gave her a thumbs up.
  77. "It'll be alright. You don't need us any more, Pinkamena."
  78. >Her smile broadened, and she left Sugarcube Corner for the first time in a long time.
  79. >You were Anonymous, the human
  80. >And then, you ceased to exist.
