- Chapter Zero - Prologue
- It was midnight on a Saturday. Sethysa Haste was approaching the feared and dreaded town of Coltwich, a town hidden from every pony, yak, and all other species in Equestria, except for those who happened to live in it. It was home to the highest crime rate out of all the villages and towns of Equestria and, as a result, it was one of the least populated places in Equestria. The town was host to a gang known as the "Coltwich Syndicate of Resource Preservation" or CSoRP for short. It was composed the worst known ponies from all over Equestria, as they maimed, tortured, and murdered many ponies in the town as they "believed" that the brutal murders would help preserve precious resources for everyone in the village. They were only there for the spoils, the drugs and money, and would murder anyone that threatens their supply of both resources, which happened to be the majority of Coltwich.
- The Mane Six attempted to stop this threat under order from Celestia herself. The battle was harsh, but they achieved minimal success as they sent half of the gang to Tarturus. However, the Six suffered serious injuries during the battle, with the most notable ones being the severing of Fluttershy's leg right through the hip and Rainbow Dash's left wing being cleaved off. As a result, they had to go back to Ponyville to recover from these injuries. They never came back, as it was a traumatic experience for all of the Six.
- As a result, the town had stayed unprotected for years, and the barbaric actions of the gang continued for years.
- She knew all of this going in, because it was her town when she was just a filly.
- In the past, before the Mane Six were even informed of the town, she lived in a small cottage with her mother. Her mother, a unicorn who had a light blue coat that had a beautiful bright purple sheen whenever she approached the light, was one of the nicest mares she had ever met. She nurtured little Sethysa for a very long time, even before the gang struck down the town. She remembered her mother playing with her every day, with games of hide and seek and tag from dawn to dusk. Her mother would always wake her up in the morning to play, and if she wasn't feeling great that day, she would always find a way to make little Sethysa feel better. Her mother was always energetic and always put a smile on everyone's face. She meant the world to Sethysa and she never imagined a day without her.
- One day, there was a sharp knock on the door and a unicorn colt wearing a ripped, saggy pair of jeans and a dark blue jacket with a black undershirt was outside. He had some visible scarring on his face along with a holstered pistol and a holstered knife with a bit of dried blood on the handle. Sethysa sat on a chair watching the conversation.
