Chrome Sanic would get up slowly as he sighed.... After all of this training... After all these years he could still not win... After all of these years, he could sprout Chaos hands yet it still didn't amount to what the Mobian wanted!

Oh the humanity of it all! Rage became annoyance! annoyance became a calm thoughtful insight that Chrome himself was not trying hard enough...

 After all of this, he merely was not pushing his body hard enough at all! no amount of being weak or strong amounted to not working hard enough it seemed, all of this Chaos energy from multiple different Chaos Emeralds deep within every bone and placed within every cell inside of the Short silver haired Hedgehogs body, and he still couldn't push past his limits, the Saiyans who had been weaker than himself surpassed the Small being years ago, as had Gabrielle, and even Owain of all people!

The Mobian who wished to be able to protect the Chaos emeralds was not merely a common serf once more, his body, at its final purification stage of the settling of the marrow, as Chaos energy seeped from deep within his bones unto the very muscles of Chrome.

 His only thought process was that of a angry rabbit Mobian that had spoken to him in his early days, the memory hazy but all that he heard was a Bestial yell that commanded within his mind:
