I am a plant breeder; I knew R for sometimes, but now I ready to use in my program. I found a R package, called RIndSel, specifically designed for breeding. First of all it is not listed in CRAN. Then as per authors instructions, I downloaded a zipped file folder “rindsel_1.0_2” it does not work

> install.packages("//mainsjb/Data/users/Jit/R/RDOC/rindsel_1.0_2.zip", repos = NULL, type = "win.binary")

Warning in install.packages : cannot open compressed file 'rindsel_1.0/DESCRIPTION', probable reason 'No such file or directory'
Error in install.packages : cannot open the connection

Can you please help me or direct to one who can help?  Thank you
