  4. >Not interested in ponies!?
  5. >The nerve.
  6. >He just doesn't know what he's missing.
  7. >You will show him just how amazing you are.
  8. >He'll see.
  9. >The walk back to your home feels long and arduous.
  10. >Grinding your teeth together, your mind reels with ideas.
  11. >How can you get Anon interested in you?
  12. >If you were still human, then this would be a million times easier.
  13. >You could try -taking- him to that horrible place.
  14. >Instantly the thought was removed from your mind... remembering that terrible man.
  15. >There has to be some other way.
  16. >The gentle orange trees along the way shed their leaves on a yellow mare with pink hair off in the distance.
  17. >Didn't you bump into her along the way?
  18. >Who cares?
  19. >You have better things to do.
  20. >"Uhm... excuse me," The yellow pony asks as you approach her.
  21. "What? I'm a little busy," You spit out.
  22. >"Oh... um, sorry," She whispers.
  23. "Whatever."
  24. >There has got to be a way.
  25. >Do you give him gifts?
  26. >He did give you that pear...
  27. >Then again, you hardily have any bits to spare.
  28. >You groan as you stomp down the dusty path back to your home.
  29. >What are you going to do?
  30. >Come on girl.
  31. >Think.
  32. >Your eyes trace the pastel landscape leading into Ponyville.
  33. >How did you get Flash back in the other world.
  34. >It wasn't quite your ravishing good looks or your stunning body.
  35. >In this case, your body is working against you.
  36. >No... You got Flash through being forceful.
  37. >All you have to do is fight for what you want and everybody is too scared to take it from you.
  38. >Er.
  39. >EveryPony.
  40. >Gotta get used to this world.
  41. >So how are you going to force Anon into your hands?
  42. >Walking into Ponyville, the ponies move past you, keeping out of your path.
  43. >Not that you notice.
  44. >Your stern face and focused eyes, combined with your internal trance strikes fear into the others around you.
  45. >With a blink, you finally notice it when one pony leaps out of your path to avoid you.
  46. >You shake your head and try to put on a smile.
  47. >Perhaps Twilight might be able to help you out.
  48. >There has to be a better way.
  49. >She's a clever girl.
  50. >Almost as smart as you.
  51. >Your hooves guide you to the Ponyville library, with the help of a few townfolk.
  52. >Why is the town library in such an awful place?
  53. >Whoever designed this town layout should be fired.
  54. >With a scoff, you approach the door and knock three times.
  55. >"Just a minute!" You hear called out from the inside.
  56. >It will be good to catch back up with Twilight.
  57. >After... the incident, you didn't get to talk to this one very much.
  58. >This Twilight anyway.
  59. >The one in the other world is your closest friend.
  60. >With a wide smile, the purple alicorn opens the door to her treebrary and gasps.
  61. >"Sunset! W-what brings you here?" Twilight says in shock.
  62. "I suppose I just got tired of things over there... I wanted to get back to my roots," You smile, half-lying through your teeth.
  63. >"Well come on in. Come on in," Twilight assures you, while motioning you to come inside.
  64.
  65. ~~~
  66.
  67. >"Anon? Really?" Twilight asks in mild shock.
  68. "Yeah. I, uh. I dunno. There is just something about him," You explain to Twilight while sipping a cup of warm jasmine tea. "It reminds me of all the good things from, well-"
  69. >"No, I totally understand. It makes perfect sense. I mean, more than Fluttershy anyway."
  70. "Fluttershy?" You ask. "You mean the yellow one with the pink hair?"
  71. >"Yeah."
  72. "Was she the total pushover that cried all the time back in the other world and smelled terrible."
  73. >Twilight simply glares at you.
  74. >You give her a vacant expression.
  75. "What?"
  76. >"Fluttershy, is the yellow pegasus who loves animals and one of my closest friends."
  77. >You dig your face into your tea.
  78. >Nailed it.
  79. >Great job Sunset.
  80. "Sorry... I didn't mean to..."
  81. >"It's fine. Just... be more careful what you say. You don't know how it could hurt somepony," Twilight explains in a calm tone, sipping her own tea.
  82. "Anyway, Fluttershy is in love with Anon too?" You ask with notable concern.
  83. >Twilight smiles.
  84. >"I didn't say anything about love..." She teases.
  85. >You puff your cheeks and scrunch your face.
  86. >"But yes. She's head over heels for him. She visits him every morning, they go out on trips throughout town. You would swear they are dating... but Anon always insists that-"
  87. "He doesn't like ponies."
  88. >"Bingo."
  89. >You look down into the reflection of your teacup.
  90. "But they do... a lot of things together?"
  91. >"Almost everything... Rarity and I think they should just come out and say they are a couple already... I'm sorry Sunset, but Fluttershy just got there first."
  92. >You sigh.
  93. >Of course.
  94. >Day late and a dollar short.
  95. >Story of your life.
  96. >It doesn't leave you with many options.
  97. "Wait a minute... you said she had a weird reason for liking him," You perk up.
  98. >Twilight shifts in her seat.
  99. >"Well. Yes..."
  100. "What is it? May I ask?"
  101. >"Well... I don't know if I should tell you this..." Twilight says slowly, fidgeting with her hooves.
  102. >You lean in towards your friend with some glimmer of home.
  103. >Every piece of information counts.
  104. >"I think Fluttershy's attraction is more... physical."
  105. >You lean back in your chair and gulp down more of your drink.
  106. >A timid pegasus like that?
  107. >You would never have expected...
  108. >"Fluttershy really likes animals... I mean really likes animals. I'm not one to judge... but humans looking like monkeys and all..."
  109. "Please. Not another word."
  110. >You might be sick to your stomach.
  111. >A pony doing those type of things to other animals.
  112. >But then again, Anon isn't really a pony.
  113. >The circumstances are different though.
  114. >You audibly groan and shake your head.
  115. >This is too confusing.
  116. >"Sorry... but yeah. At least you have more than just what she wants in mind, or at least I get that vibe."
  117. "Of course."
  118. >Twilight nods her head.
  119. >"It's a shame really... I think Anon could do better."
  120. "Me too," You answer, depressed.
  121. >"But, if it's love, there really isn't anything you can do about it. Some things you just cant force," Twilight says with some tone of sympathy. "I'm sorry Sunset... I'm sure there will be someone else."
  122. >A small twitch is felt inside of you.
  123. >Why can't you force it?
  124. >It's worked before.
  125. >A smile forms on your face.
  126. >You will show her.
  127. >All you need, is a plan.
  128.
  129. ~~~
  130.
  131. >Think Sunset.
  132. >Think.
  133. >You pace back and forth in your quiet home, trying to think of some way that you can take Anon for yourself.
  134. >He doesn't like ponies.
  135. >If only you could turn yourself into a human...
  136. >But there isn't any sort of magic that you know that could turn you into one again.
  137. >Not without going back -there-.
  138. >You could ask Princess Twilight for help...
  139. >No way.
  140. >You can do this by yourself thank you very much.
  141. >Like hell you would take help from someone.
  142. >Err. Somepony.
  143. >They would hold it over your head until the end of time.
  144. >You look at yourself in a full sized mirror.
  145. >Turning your head back and forth, and twirling around to see your flank, you look over your new body.
  146. >A stallion's dream.
  147. >You wiggle your flank a bit.
  148. >Seduction could work...
  149. >Then again, that's what Fluttershy has been trying, according to Twilight.
  150. >You sigh and return to your pacing.
  151. >What else is there?
  152. >You could try to be good friends with him... and hope something blossoms from that...
  153. >With a groan, you shake your head.
  154. >What are you becoming?
  155. >A softie?
  156. >Then it's settled.
  157. >You will have to take him by force.
  158. >But how?
  159. >Blackmail?
  160. >You aren't opposed to the idea... but typically it doesn't work for a long term relationship.
  161. >Love Potion?
  162. >It might be too difficult to brew and you are on a budget constraint...
  163. >Abduction?
  164. >You stare blankly into the distance and consider the idea.
  165. >Nah.
  166. >Maybe if it were a young colt or a young human, but it wouldn't work on a full grown man.
  167. >Which just leaves...
  168. >Stockholm Syndrome.
  169. >If you victimize Anon to a point where he feels captive by you, then he will begin to love you for it.
  170. >It's going to be risky though, if the other ponies catch you...
  171. >You shudder to think of the consequences.
  172. >It's the risk you will have to take to make Anon all yours.
  173. >You look at yourself in the mirror one more time.
  174. >A little twirl.
  175. >A few close inspections.
  176. >You should probably brush your hair.
  177. >This is your big night.
  178.
  179. ~~~
  180.
  181. >When you leave your home, the sun is just beginning to lower in the sky, illuminating the sky in a bright yellow glow.
  182. >The trot to the hill where you sat yesterday is a short one, but feels longer than yesterday.
  183. >Yesterday you didn't know that Anon always watches the sunset on that hill.
  184. >Now you do, and your stomach tightens just thinking about it.
  185. >Stick to the plan.
  186. >The minute you show weakness, this won't work.
  187. >The second you show your true colors, the syndrome won't set in.
  188. >The most important thing, is time.
  189. >Step One: Get into Anon's House.
  190. >You walk up the grassy hill to your look out point.
  191. >Of course, he sits here, staring out, deep in thought.
  192. >You wonder what he's thinking.
  193. >What sort of stresses does he have behind those magnificent eyes?
  194. >Walking up the hill, you sit a few feet away from him.
  195. >He's not even phased.
  196. >Is he ignoring you?
  197. >Your eyes dart from the sunset, to him and back again.
  198. >Honestly, you can't decide which is more beautiful.
  199. "Hey," You manage to choke out.
  200. >Hey?
  201. >Really?
  202. >That's it?
  203. >You just ruined everything.
  204. >Great job.
  205. >Mission failure, let's pack up and try again next w-
  206. >"Oh, hey," Anon says, turning his head to you in surprise. "A part of me thought after this morning..."
  207. "Don't worry about it," You say, turning to the sunset. "You never know until you ask... right?"
  208. >"Yeah," He answers distantly looking back into the sunset. "You definitely got me thinking though."
  209. >Don't show too much interest Sunset.
  210. "About what?" You ask.
  211. >Anon sighs and looks into his strong masculine hands.
  212. >"I dunno. Things have been... different lately," He begins to explain. "I've been deep in thought all day about your talk yesterday."
  213. "Really? What about?" You ask in interest.
  214. >He's been thinking about you?
  215. >Really?
  216. >Butterflies fill your chest, but you try to wipe them away.
  217. >Stick to the plan.
  218. >"The whole... other human world, but I went and asked Twilight about it... It sounds really risky. Who knows? I could come out the other side as a pony or something terrifying like that."
  219. "Yeah... It would be risky for anyone."
  220. >Anon looks at you carefully.
  221. "Oh. Shit. Anypony," You correct yourself.
  222. >"How long were you in that other world exactly?"
  223. >You shift yourself and lay on the grass.
  224. "Too long..."
  225. >"I just notice that you aren't really like the rest of the ponies here. I mean, you cuss. You don't say all of that anypony shit. Honestly, to me, you feel the most human out of everyone here."
  226. >You stare into the distance at the orange sky, as the sun falls in the distance.
  227. "Is this supposed to make me feel awful? Because I feel awful."
  228. >"No, I just," Anon sighs to himself. "Never mind. Forget it. I've always been shit with saying what I mean to say."
  229. >What's that supposed to mean?
  230. >It doesn't matter.
  231. >Stick to the plan Sunset.
  232. >The two of you sit and watch the sun as it falls gently across the horizon.
  233. >"Why did you leave anyway?" Anon asks out of the blue.
  234. >You bite your tongue and watch the sky turn a orange-red.
  235. >"I mean, you don't have to tell me... but I'm just-"
  236. "I was alone."
  237. >Silence fills the gap between you two.
  238. "I was alone in a world where no-one understood me. A pony in a world of humans, trying desperately to fit in. It made me angry. It made me vengeful. Why wouldn't they like me? I wondered to myself..."
  239. >Anon listens intently.
  240. "So I got aggressive... and made a lot of mistakes. I just couldn't live with the consequences any more."
  241. >"So you tried to get a fresh start."
  242. "Yeah," You answer, lying your head in the soft grass.
  243. >The sun begins to make it's final few minutes on the horizon, as it paints the sky a deep blood red.
  244. >"Hey... this is going to sound dumb... but have you had anything to eat?"
  245. >You look back to him.
  246. >Did he just say that?
  247. >"You don't really have a job yet... and I was just going to make dinner when I get home. Would you like to join me?"
  248. >Well.
  249. >This was easier than expected.
  250. >You didn't even have to guilt trip him like you planned.
  251. "Uh. Sure. I'd like that."
  252. >"Cool."
  253. >He stands up as the sun dips beyond the horizon, and looks down at you.
  254. >"Ready?"
  255. >You nod and get on your hooves following him down the familiar path to his home.
  256. >"I hope you like salad, because it seems like it's the only thing these ponies got that I can eat every single day."
  257. >You smile and continue to follow him as the home comes into view.
  258. >Oh, how wonderful it will be when he is all yours.
  259. >To hold him in your hooves as he looks up at you lovingly.
  260. >It's only a matter of time.
  261. >Anon walks up to his door and unlocks it, holding it open for you.
  262. >"It's not much, but it's what I have."
  263. >Step One: Complete.
  264. >You step inside his house and look around, drinking in the scenery.
  265. >His home is remarkably clean, for a man.
  266. >Er, stallion.
  267. >Er. He's a man.
  268. >This pony world is beginning to get to you Sunset.
  269. >Calm down.
  270. >Several bookcases filled with novels lined the walls.
  271. >You walk up to it and begin to examine the different titles.
  272. >Some you recognize from when you a small filly, while a few others you've never heard of.
  273. >Dramas, romances, horrors and science fiction fill every shelf, and some of them overflow into the empty space left on the shelves.
  274. "I had no idea how much you enjoyed reading."
  275. >"Oh, well. Yeah. Sort of. I like to read the novels... then pretend that all the characters are humans. Kinda stupid huh?"
  276. >He must really miss his home.
  277. "No, I don't think so..."
  278. >Just like how you missed being in Equestria.
  279. >"Really?"
  280. "Yeah... I think I understand."
  281. >You turn to Anon, still absorbing the environment around you.
  282. >Anon leans in the doorway to his kitchen, watching you in his natural habitat.
  283. >He smirks and shakes his head.
  284. >"Anyway. I'll get things started. Make yourself at home."
  285. >He steps into the kitchen and you smile.
  286. >Step Two: Knock out.
  287. "I will..."
  288. >All you have to do is knock out Anon and drag him into the basement, where your secret entrance was.
  289. >You've been here before, but not without Anon knowing.
  290. >So you have to do your best to put on a show.
  291. >Then all that will be left is the third step.
  292. >Conditioning.
  293. >You can do this.
  294. >You -can- do this.
  295. >You move back to the door of the house.
  296. >Focusing your mind on the door, your horn glows with energy.
  297. >With a quick tug, the door won't budge.
  298. >Perfect.
  299. >As quietly as you can, you walk into the kitchen, where Anon chops lettuce on a cutting board.
  300. >Your weapon stands in sight.
  301. >A large, metal frying pan hanging just over the stove.
  302. >Taking a few steps closer, your horn lights up with teal colored energy and grabs a hold of your weapon.
  303. >"You wanna hear something kinda stupid?" Anon asks out loud as he focuses on the dinner.
  304. "Try me." You answer, focusing on quietly lifting the pan off of it's rack and into the air.
  305. >"You sort of got me thinking this morning."
  306. "Really? About what?" You ask, not really paying attention to Anon.
  307. >"About the time I've spent here, in Equestria."
  308. >Almost there...
  309. >You just have to move a little more.
  310. >Another pan catches the one you are trying to move.
  311. >Shit.
  312. >"The more time I've spent here, I've focused more on how different I was from the other ponies. How they didn't understand what it was like to be a human."
  313. >Just jostle it a little bit.
  314. >You take another step closer, ensuring you are still in Anon's blind spot.
  315. >"But I think now... it's sort of changed. At first I thought you were just annoying and followed me around everywhere."
  316. >Anon puts another load of lettuce into the bowl and grabs a tomato to slice up.
  317. >Just a little more.
  318. >*clink*
  319. >The other pan nudges slightly, but your weapon is free.
  320. >Now you just have to finish the job.
  321. >You hover the pan over to you and hold it in the air.
  322. >Quick and upside the head.
  323. >Stay focused.
  324. >Follow the plan.
  325. >"But I think things are different now."
  326. >What in the world is he talking about?
  327. >You probably should have paid attention.
  328. >Oh well.
  329. >There will be plenty of time for that later~
  330. >"I feel like I met someone who really understand what it's like for me here. Heck, I even had to go to Twilight last night to talk about it."
  331. "She's smart. I don't blame you."
  332. >You approach him carefully, preparing to strike.
  333. >Quick and painless.
  334. >If you do it right, he will just have a mild concussion and a splitting headache.
  335. >"She told me do to what I think is right. Which is weird. Normally she loves bossing others around."
  336. "Ain't that the truth."
  337. >Carefully, you line up the hit.
  338. >Pulling back the pan in mid-air, you focus as hard as you can on the area of his skull you want to impact.
  339. >You take a deep breath.
  340. >Three.
  341. >Your muscles tense up, knowing you can never take back this moment.
  342. >Two.
  343. >The consequences will be dire if anyone ever finds out.
  344. >One.
  345. >"I think... I want to take back what I said earlier."
  346. >What?
  347. "What?"
  348. >Your chest tightens and your eyes grow wide.
  349. >Anon sighs to himself and puts down the knife, leaning his head over the cutting board.
  350. >"I'm really terrible at words, but I just feel like... I dunno. Like you get me."
  351. >You freeze, the magical grip around your weapon loosens.
  352. >"I've spent so much time here, forcing myself to be alone and being unhappy because of it... I think it's time to try something different."
  353. >Carefully, you set the pan on the stove.
  354. >Anon turns around to face you.
  355. >"I wanna give this a shot."
  356. >Tears well within your eyes.
  357. >You were going to hurt him.
  358. >You were going to -corrupt- him and here he is, with his arms wide open.
  359. >How could you be so stupid.
  360. >With a hard gallop, you leap into his arms and he holds you tightly as tears stain his shirt.
  361. >Anon holds you in his big, strong arms as you look up at him lovingly.
  362. "You've made me the happiest girl... ever."
  363. >Er. Pony.
  364. >Screw it.
  365. >It doesn't matter anymore.
  366. >He knows what you mean.
  367. >"That was... something else I wanted to mention..."
  368.
  369. >"Yeah, I can totally make you a human again. I turned my friends and I into breezies not too long ago," Twilight explains to you and Anon.
  370. "Really! Let's do it."
  371. >You ordered that you and Anon went to Twilight's house immediately after he mentioned it.
  372. >After dinner of course.
  373. >Cause you were famished.
  374. >And cuddling.
  375. >That was important too.
  376. >Alright, so maybe the two of you lost track of time along the way and woke up Twilight at 2 A.M.
  377. >"Are you sure? Don't you want to think about it a little?"
  378. "Not in the slightest. I want to be human for you."
  379. >Anon looks from you to Twilight and nods.
  380. >He has the cutest look of excitement on his face.
  381. >"I'll get the spell book. I'll be right back."
  382. >Twilight heads down to her basement while you look down at your hooves.
  383. "I was just getting used to these too."
  384. >"You can always go back to being a pony again."
  385. "I know... but I think this will feel better anyway. I'm just used to it."
  386. >You do your best to stifle a yawn.
  387. >What time could it be about now?
  388. >Three?
  389. >Four?
  390. >It doesn't matter.
  391. >A new day will dawn for you.
  392. >Twilight returns upstairs with a old, worn out spell book.
  393. >She flips through the pages until she stops.
  394. >Reading through the pages, to refresh herself, she smiles and nods.
  395. >"Ready?"
  396. >You and Anon nod at the same time.
  397. >"Here we go."
  398. >Twilight's horn illuminates with purple magic and gently lifts you and Anon up into the air.
  399. >Your body begins to feel warm and tingly, as you close your eyes.
  400. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  401. >The world begins to spin around you intensely
  402. >Your body is pulled apart at the edges.
  403. >Hooves are pulled into small diadems and you feel your back straighten out.
  404. >Fingers are pushed into your hands and your back is on fire.
  405. >An overall body massage moves your joints and changes your posture
  406. >A feeling of cool water runs down your body.
  407. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  408. >"Alright. Open your eyes Sunset."
  409. >Carefully, you open your eyes to find yourself still in the Treebrary.
  410. >Anon is there and Twilight is there...
  411. >You look down at yourself and find two long, slender legs, covered by an orange skirt with black and purple boots.
  412. >Anon reaches his hand out and you take it, rising to your feet.
  413. >Everything is so much... smaller now.
  414. >Perhaps, little is the correct word.
  415. >"That's the Sunset I remember," Twilight smirks.
  416. >Looking back down at yourself, you notice your purple shirt and black leather jacket.
  417. >You always loved this jacket.
  418. >Twilight doesn't get enough credit for how good at this she really is.
  419. "Well..." You say, looking to Anon. "What do you think?"
  420. >"What do I think?" He responds, looking up and down your body.
  421. >You look up at him, hopeful.
  422. >He smirks and gives you a sly look.
  423. >"I liked it the other way. Go back."
  424. >You slap his arm, and he laughs.
  425. >"No, seriously. I love it."
  426. "Good. You're stuck with me now."
  427. >Anon makes a mock sigh.
  428. >"Fine! If you say so."
  429. >"You two are going to make quite the couple," Twilight smiles, closing her book. "Now get on outta here you two lovebirds. I need to get some sleep."
  430. >You kneel down beside Twilight and wrap her in a big hug.
  431. "Thank you Twilight," You whisper into her ear. "You are a true friend."
  432. >"Of course Sunset. I'm happy to help."
  433. >Rising back to your feet, you turn to Anon, who leans against the doorway, smiling at you.
  434. >"Ready?"
  435. >You smile back at him.
  436. "Ready."
  437. >He smiles and steps outside.
  438. >You follow him out-
  439. >*WHACK*
  440. >The frame of the door sends you tumbling back to the floor.
  441. "SHIT. Stupid door."
  442. >Why are these damn ponies so little?
  443. >"That takes a while to get used to."
  444. "This is stupid. You're stupid."
  445. >"Sure, sure. Come on crabby pants."
  446. >As you were saying.
  447. >You follow him outside, admiring his facial features more closely, considering you are much closer to his height now.
  448. >"Hey... look."
  449. >Anon points out over the horizon to the gently rising sun.
  450. >"Should we?" He asks.
  451. >You look up to him with a smile.
  452. "Yeah."
  453. >Anon leads you back to your spot on the hill, but this time, sitting the opposite direction.
  454. >This time, there is no gap between you to as the two of you lay on the grass, watching the rising sun.
  455. >His arm is wrapped around you tightly holding you closely to him.
  456. >Will you ever tell him that you nearly clocked him upside the face and took him hostage in his own home?
  457. >You think on the idea for about a minute.
  458. >Probably not.
  459. >It will be your little secret.
  460. >But what matters right now is this very moment.
  461. >Laying in the grass, overtired, but never feeling this happy in your entire life.
  462. >Finally, you found a place you can call home.
  463. >His arms.
