    ↠ Zhennan was born January 7th 1999 to Hwang Minji and Huang Haitao. They loved their son dearly and treated him as such, he had all the love and support in the world. His father, a chef, would often sit Zhennan on the kitchen bench as he cooked, giving the boy little bits of the food and winking, saying it was their little secret. As the boy got older he started helping his dad in the kitchen, this is what sparked his love of cooking. His mother, a game dev, introduced him to the art of coding and computing. Although she didn't go through it with him much she always gave him sneak peaks of whatever project she was working on and let him have the first play through of a game.

	↠ All good things must come to an end, and on August 19th 2008 that is what happened. The Huang family were flying to Korea to visit Minji's family - BOSS's family - as was normal when they were flying Minji gave Zhennan her wedding band to hold onto, it calmed the young boy. They had barely finished their ascent when the captain made an announcement, they were having engine troubles and were going to land in Hong Kong. Everyone could hear the panic in his voice as he spoke. They quickly began their descent into Hong Kong but something was horribly wrong, the plane's engines went out. Now, instead of a smooth descent they were plummeting towards the tarmac of Hong Kong international airport. The pilots controlled the landing as best they could but there wasn't much they could do. The plane hit the runway with devastating force, skidding across the tarmac and off the edge into the ocean. Zhennan remained concious through the crash, unlike many who were knocked out from the force or killed in the impact. He, along with a couple dozen other passengers, managed to extract themselves from their seats and get out of the rapidly sinking plane.

	↠ Sadly Zhennan's parents were not two of the lucky ones who made it out alive. The next few hours were a blur of medical staff and police and painful tests for Zhennan, thankfully the authorities had managed to contact Zhennan's extended family - BOSS's family - and they were on their way. They stayed with Zhennan in the hospital as he got treated, he had badly broken his leg and needed surgery. The family sat at his bedside day and night, ensuring that he was okay and not alone. But even so he refused to talk, spending his time just staring at the too big silver band on his finger, spinning it slowly around and around. His parents were dead.

↠ A week later Zhennan was released from hospital and BOSS's parents had become his legal guardians, he was moving to Korea. Zhennan was completely different after the crash. Where before he was a charismatic, confident and funny boy he was now a shy, brooding and cold one. He didn't let people in, even BOSS, he was too scared to, still broken from his parents loss. Zhennan threw himself into school - learning and learning and learning and ignoring his grief, he knew that if he acknowledged it it would swallow him whole and so he ignored it. That is until he started coding. He found that it cleared his head completely, he was calm and almost content for the first time in a long time, so he threw himself into. He studied and learned and coded and coded and coded until he was good at it. He fell in love with the language of code, the control and satisfaction when it worked. A couple of years later BOSS introduced Zhennan, who was now an incredible coder, to hacking and he took to it like a fish to water. BOSS quickly recruited the boy.

↠ Zhennan met Yunho when he was 18, he had popped into a little coffee shop to get himself, and more importantly his computer, out of the rain. All the tables and booths were full of groups of rowdy teens or business people in stuffy suits except one, a lone man sat at the table staring intently at his phone which was haphazardly leaning against the salt and pepper shakers. Zhennan glanced over the boys shoulder and noticed he was watching a movie, Harry Potter. He leaned in closer without thinking, his breath fanning over the boy's neck. The other turned and gave Zhennan a smirk, asking if he liked Harry Potter and offering him an earbud. Zhennan missed all of his afternoon courses, instead sitting and watching the Harry Potter movies with the most stunning boy he had ever seen.

    ↠ BEGINNING: Zhennan and Yunho are very close but are both hiding their secret second lives from the other. He trusts Yunho implicitly and doesn't suspect anything so when Zhennan finally breaks into a part of Ateez's mainframe and finds Yunho's photo and a mission card, the mission being to befriend Zhennan, he was heartbroken. He wasn't hurt by Yunho's secret life, after all Zhennan had one just the same, he was hurt by the fact that their friendship was a lie. Yunho had been sent to that cafe, he had been placed in the spot he was, he probably didn't even like harry potter. It was all planned, all fake.
    ↠ MIDDLE: Zhennan sits on the information for a while, he doesn't stop hanging out with Yunho he is just very careful around him. He closes off though, not letting Yunho in anymore. Yunho soon catches on and asks about it. Zhennan pretends not to know what is up before he finally breaks, telling Yunho about what he had discovered. Yunho tries to explain himself, words failing him but it doesn't matter anyway because Zhennan isn't listening, he doesn't want to hear excuses he wants reasons. By the end of it they are almost nose to nose screaming at each other with tears running down their faces. They stop, realizing just how close they are, and then suddenly they are kissing with lips salty from tears.
    ↠ END: Zhennan and Yunho sort their problems out (with a lot of hard work on Yunho's part trying to earn Zhennan's trust again) and are boyfriends. I am perfectly happy with there being an angsty breakup, death etc for their ending or for it to be a happy one ending.

    ↠ LIVING IT UP - they are best friends despite their nearly completely opposite personalities, they fit together well and are able to compensate for each other. (BOSS would be a close second but I believe that Zhennan is closer with LIVING IT UP because he shows more of himself with them)
