  1. So this is a semi update on my situation:
  2. Recap: transphobic brother and his extremist friends found out im trans, so i asked you to help me. I was pretty wasted and had to get my head straight.
  3.
  4. The Advice you gave me was very helpful, within basically one week i outed myself to pretty much everyone from students in my grade over my family all the way to people i barely have contact with. And everyone seems to be supportive or at least not too bothered by it. Tomorrow i will get a letter from my therapist allowing my teaches to call me by my female name, allowing the school to watch my back for "shit talkers" and pretty much protect me from any potential discrimination within the school, they were very supportive and understanding. Turns out pretty much all teachers on my school were instructed on how to deal with trans people properly because a few years ago we had a ftm student who left the school after a few weeks tho. Anyways...
  5. My brother turned high key hostile against me after he got the memo i was willy-nilly comming out to everyone left right and center, and especially after i talked to my mother about his "friends". I dont feel really safe in his presence but i surround myself with supportive people whenever i can. I looked into buying a blank gun or a knife for self defense but turns out i need an "extended weapons certificate", wgich is basically impossible to get, to actually carry them in public, so i scrapped that for now. Im looking into weather i can change my legal name right now or if i need to wait a while, and im thinking about how to best approach the usual problems like the bathroom problem.
