"Zahhual was like a mother to me. I am prepared to go to the damned island where she contracted whatever the hell this is. I'm ready to go alone, if it means to find something to cure her. I'm ready to kill if it will cure her. She has exiled me from Cruxati, and assisted in exiling me from Atl. She has insulted me, and she has spit on my name and existence. But despite that, I am ready to find a way to cure her." A pause.

"But I will not become a sacrifice, because by doing that. I am gambling my life on something that may not even work. I am not going to throw my life away, when I have three children. And tons of people whom I have made promises to. For something that may not work." Pulling back now.

"Yes, I am Jianghese. Yes I am a Kitsune. But despite that all, I have risked my life for Gehenna countless times. I have forsaken Jianghu. My parents back home will be happy at this point if they hear I was brutally murdered, raped and then mutilated after death. I have lost everything, for the family and friends I have made here in ten years." Narrowing her eyes now, a look of disgust, and betrayal.

"It pains me to hear those words from you. You were someone I trusted with my life. And yet here you are. Looking past who I am, just because of where I was born." Turning and walking away. A hand moving to rest upon the wall.

"Hate me all you want. Curse my name, and wish for death upon me if that is what you wish. But know this. I will never hate you, because you're my friend. A dear friend at that. Even if you put a blade to my throat. I will not hate you." Going silent now, hiding the anger on her face by looking away. The words Asha spoke reminded her of how the Qilin, and Ren Tseng spoke to her.

"... yes, he does. Liq. Liq Idd." Asha nodded solemnly. Now that they looked at him more closely, his skin WAS oddly light...

However, there were no more words for the Gehennan to say. She was breathing heavily, her body tense, but she would let Akari have the last word.
