- Alexander had taken up the exploring type of role as of recent - deciding to see how eastern Valmasia had been since the last he'd been here. He'd been cooped up with the Glacium for so long, that the Boreas was eager to see everything! Forests, caves, so many things that Alexander aspired to see!
- Even the swamp - a murky, scary place, was admired by Alexander. It seemed so quite, so.. Peaceful. It took his mind off of some things, like, Radu. But that was in the past now - his scars were practically gone. It really helped that he'd been advancing quite a bit in holy-water magic, using it to soon rid of the scar entirely!
- The Boreas would let out a relieving sigh of sorts - finally looking up at the skies. What a peaceful day it seemed for him! He was pretty glad to be out of Danarium for once, really.
- (Alexander Boreas)
- The hunts were racking up a body count, leaving one sustained at the expense of many. Characteristics were preened from his victims, miniature alterations in skin pigment blotched at the flesh, muscularity stressed at his armors seems and bodily weight seemed to accumulate despite a lack of physical size. Gravitational works warped at the size of his victims, but not mass-- Resulting in an abnormality that would quake the earth beneath him, should he have ever badgered himself to walk amongst it.
- It was, this very presence- That took to the skies as primary method of travel. To one whom gazed upon the heavens above in solace, their peace would be disrupted by smothering clouds of lilac shrouding the cerulean background encompassing the sun with Cosmic-Occult smog.
- " Hrmmm..." The hum descended in tone, clearly pondering on a mentalized query. In reverence to such, the image of humanoid silhuoette spawned before Alexander, simply idling in its aeronautic glory.
- "What's this? A lucky catch?" From there on in, silence carried out as means to bait Alexander into responding.
- (Exovaryn "Voss" Haruke)
- Continuing to stare up upon the skies, Alexander's eyebrow would cock after awhile, the Boreas very confused. Why was everything suddenly becoming.. Clouded? It was strange.. Alexander has a solution though. With a deep exhale, Alexander would let his hand come out from under his cape - gathering wind around it before he'd punch at the air, sending a blast of wind towards the smog in an attempt to clear it!
- Cleared or not, Alexander would notice the Haruke that seemed to have arrived. His expression seemed rather confused for a moment - staring at the armored, floating man. "W-what?" He'd inquire - his tone rather.. Not scared, but filled with all sorts of confusion. What was this guy doing?
- "Er..." He'd ponder - looking at the Haruke before him. "What is this?" He'd then ask, pointing towards the smog that he maaay or may haven't blown away..
- (Alexander Boreas)
- The fogs of one's inadvertent conjuring had swayed aside, dispersed by a venturamancy to unveil the magi behind it all. The entity seem particularly phased by the endeavor, though it wasn't intended to batter him in the first place. A question aimed for the mists soon to drape for their surroundings was answered with a long, steady exhale from Exovaryn, spewing wispy product of this ghastly substance to join what already pervaded the scene.
- " Human. " Exovaryn addressed, slowly descending for Alexander's ranks. "You've stepped into my hunting grounds." He claimed, inverted eyes clearly visible with creeping proximity, inverted pupils making their ocular lock. " Though, I've been particular merciful to those less than inane. You harbinge the facade of someone whom simply does not belong about here, making trade routes, hunting bounties, outlaws... Yokai...." He added.
- " You're a magi. Most definitely an anamoly indeed... " He craned his head with fluid motion, off to the side as though to inspect Alexander from a literally different angle.
- " Though, why here?" He queried. " Are you one of the many searching the skies, to play hero?" He interrogated. "... Or perhaps naught but a mere wanderer whom happened across me as chance: A great gift from the Gods of Fate, nonetheless."
- (Exovaryn "Voss" Haruke)
- Alexander's green eyes seemed to stare around the area, trying to figure out what was producing it. It was probably the floating guy, so he had to be careful. A magi emitting occultic magic near Alteros probably wasn't good for Alex's health, really. He'd stare at Exovaryn - watching as the Haruke began to speak to him.
- Alexander would inhale - beginning to speak. "Are you, uh, not human..?" He'd ponder aloud - staring at the Harukean. "Hunting grounds.." He'd then say - before the eyes of the Boreas would seem to bulge. "What are you hunting?!" He'd quickly ask, his voice rather.. Shocked! Was he hunting humans? Animals?
- "I'm.. I'm the second one, probably.." He'd then ask - beginning to sweat a little.
- radu flashbacks
- (Alexander Boreas)
- Alexander seemingly didn't catch the lavender murk that seeped from betwixt his parting maws, though it was likely to have been noticed eventually. Regardless of the sight, Alex pressed on with a question towards one's race, which was answered by a long, empty glare that challenged lethargy in means of expression.
- The next statement lead into another, which seemed to be answered by this persisted stare. One's onyx cornea, highlighted only with a hazel outling captured Alexander, digressed not, by the sway of his alabaster mane dipping betwixt himself and Alexander to break line of sight with every errie breeze to ease by.
- He could see it: The sweat budding upon one's delectable flesh, batted with a crack of one's visage, satisfied with this display. Lips parted enough to reveal a full set of canines, designed solely for tearing into flesh. It was akin to sireniean breed, though it was clear to note that the levitating entity was not of aquatic origin.
- " You're a lot faster at putting pieces together. " He answered, clearly entertained.
- (Exovaryn "Voss" Haruke)
- The fearful Boreas continued to stand there - almost flinching at the sight of his maw creating the fog. It was almost a worse sight to see the teeth that the Harukean bore - jagged, and totally ready to rip into flesh. This was not going to go well. Alexander only seemed to stand in place - barely any movement from him, even involuntary. He was at a standstill.
- Eventually, Alexander would begin to speak up. "I'm going to take a guess - since I'm apparently good at predicting what's going to happen..." He'd say, a pause. More sweat seemed to grow. The flashbacks. "You're going to eventually attack me, we are going to battle, and only one person's gonna walk away from this alive." He'd say, a tilt to his head.
- "Or will both of us walk away - one heavily injured?" He'd add on - the most light touch of holy magic encircling the boy.
- (Alexander Boreas)
- Alexander's analysis of the situation was an accurate depiction as implied by the murmur aroused from his gullet, bouncing shoulders in reverence, and finally eruption from chortle to blatant laughter. He found the idea of one so brazen to jump to conclusions more than entertaining...
- Though, he could feel the radiance of an Exorcist's essence, repelling against his abysmal grade stature, constantly vying against his powers to retract the other from its own presence, constantly baring spiritual pressure on its other to repress it... Though, as of now, it was clear to feel, even without magical sensing capabilities: Alexander's potency surmounted Exovaryn's as of yet.
- "I haven't a reason not to eat you, magi. Though, I could very easily present you with a chance to roam abroad with your form intact. Though, it come at your own volition." He stated, raising his head to aggrandize his hovering form, allowing the light from the gleaming sun above to blur at his turned visage, providing imagery for an exagerated facade.
- "It's all, of your own choice... Mortal folk such as yourself seem to listen best only when they've realized the futility of their own forced endeavors." He claimed. "So, either partake in your inane prattle in hopes of appeasing me... Or prepare yourself for battle- It matters not to me."
- (Exovaryn "Voss" Haruke)
- Continuing to keep his eyes upon the Harukean, Alexander didn't want to take them off. The man could use magic to do something to him - and the glare from earlier clearly meant he wasn't human at all. This made him more nervous - this could be some kind of creature with intents to kill him. A single blink could be his end. Alexander was overthinking.
- "Eat me..?" Alexander would say - repeating the Harukean's words. He'd slowly draw his stave, water circling around him. "If you're gonna eat me, I'm gonna have to kill you." He'd say, his grip tightening upon the stave. The water seemed to be tracing a circle around Alexander, soon bursting upwards. It was a healing aura! Alexander was showing off extreme intent - perhaps even lethal, really.
- Then he'd send forth, like, a lot of his magic.
- (Alexander Boreas)
- Alexander seemed determined with his words, adamant to partake of the lesser option- an option that may've spared him of the conflict he provoked. As of now, it was Alexander whom was overreacting in the Harukean's perception, unveiling a stave to his defense. An aegis of the aquatic element cascaded about the magus to his volition, resonating its healing properties in his shift, albeit it'd be a heal exclusive to Alexander alone.
- Those final words from Alex, the unarmored Glacium Knight, failed to garner any sway in visual facade in the Harukean. " Kill me?" He echoed in query. "Save your breathe, human. You couldn't even scathe me, should I not allow it, much less sustain such damage upon my figure." He claimed.
- "By comparison, I am a God when juxtaposed to even magi such as yourself.
- He touched down to meet the same ranks of Alexander, approaching him at a walker's pace, callous as to what strikes may've been intended his way.
- " What wrath do you claim capable of striking down, me..." Exovaryn inquired, taunting the aquamancing Exorcist.
- (Exovaryn "Voss" Haruke)
- The smiting of one's Exorcism threatened to purge at one embezzled by the transmundane. Though, it was clear to observe, that not once had it hastened its pace. Exovaryn moved throughout the scene at a casual pace, taking explosive walls of one's aquatic fabricants to his front, remaining sturdy off of the accumulated weight of the dozens consumed anchoring him in place.
- The stave used to one's defence grazed the surface of his metallic armor, outright raking the flesh across his visage at a turning point for the conflict's climax.
- It was then, that he paused... Having been cut...
- This self-claimed god was proven able to bleed.
- "... You have the audacity to scathe me? " He pivoted his head to fixate his ebonical hues upon his target, narrowing his lids to fasten one's realization of surmounting irritations afoot.
- " It is for reasons like this, that you humans... That you... Exorcists, claiming heroics became my most favored of snacks."
- Crimson static cackled about the sliced region of his face, invoking the reversal the inflicted damage: Regeneration.
- " You want to bare this facade, Valmasian?" One's chest eased out, providing to be the centre of his telekinetic focus as he ascended above for an aerial advantage. "... Then, you'll succumb to its consequences... As all inevitiably do..." The hazel outlining of his cornea illuminated in the casted darkness that'd soon envelope their persons. From his vessel spawned the translucent smog of the Cosmic-Occult, shrouding the sun from the immediate scape to darken this particular region of the marshes.
- The amalgamation of hatred for such ilk, materialized through his malign essence. From the depths within, a beckoned force uproared, consuming his figure in the stygian ethernal pyre, kindled by his blackened soul. The siphoning of mana from the stars above, only triggered the ambiguious substance lying dormant within, unleashing the once concealed portion of Harukean anatomy.
- From the centre of his back, the spinal appendages arched around his form, snaking over his shouderlines and waist with barbed heads: Serpents of the void unleashed by the sole successor of Eutan Haruke himself.
- "You will know the name, Voss."
- (Exovaryn "Voss" Haruke)
- To Alteros! Or so she hoped, in search for her ol' palarooni! Instead she was faced with something else, the earthen mage dropped to the ground, crouching a bit towards the ground, she scuffled into a bush and stared past the foliage, blinking her large blue eyes as-- Someone went full eldritch abomination. If her little eyes could get any wider they'd pop out of her eyesockets!
- The kid gulped a bit, but, she'd seen enough death and the like, peeking her head out of the bush she shouted at the top of her lungs. "MISTA! DON'T KILL HIM OHKAY! SOME FOLK NEEDA BE PUNISHED BUT KILLIN' IS BAD! MY PAPPY SAID SOS!" And with that the little girl went back to her bush.
- Yet blue hues watched from it, with a small gulp. Course, she wasn't exactly the.. Heroic type, not at all! After watching the deaths of two others at the hands of her so-called friends... Well, if it meant her own safety the kid was more then willing to turn a blind eye. Self-Preservation was a funny thing like that.
- (Krishna)
- Alexander was so close to beating Exovaryn - at least, it felt like it. He at least managed to cut the Harukean, which was an achievement within itself. He was calling himself god, and Alexander had cut the self-proclaimed! It felt rather good. But he still wasn't winning the match, it seemed.
- As the next 'round' seemed to be starting, Alexander's head would turn towards Krishna - but he knew her as blue. "Blue! GO. IT's not safe!" He'd call out towards the girl, almost like a yell of sorts. Alexander was ready to try and beat him this time - the cut clearly meaning he wasn't invincible. He couldn't have this like his encounter with Radu.
- Alexander's aura of water would suddenly send forth mass amounts of ice - in the form of spikes and the like. He was going into an over-drive type of feel, it seemed! He'd create walls of water - quickly freezing them over, and smashing them with his shoulder, sending forth walls of ice. He had to try and win this time - Marciel's friend showing up wasn't safe at all......
- Hopefully she'd keep her distance from the battle.
- (Alexander Boreas)
- Exovaryn "Voss" Haruke: This time, I won't hold anything back... You'll see the difference between our powers. Human.
- Alexander Boreas: <*gulp*>
- The spikes of ice emerging betwixt him and his prey proved rather bothersome, but nothing he couldn't manage with. A projection of his own essence manifested a shell of his magical triad of powers, rocketing himself forth with temporal velocity invoked by Gravity and Cosmic in union, outright charging through the constructs with an encompassing mannequin of Lyperion Utovex.
- Further attempts to skewer him from below his aerodynamic figure were swiftly evaded to the best of his capability, weaving through a field of a flipped hailstorm, shattering through the stalagmites of hailstone to further close in on his victim.
- Alas, within the center of this conjured storm he'd find a vast space: An eye to this blizzard, for his victimization. " You're through.." He called out, diving headstrong for Alexander, only to smash fist-first into a constructed wall of Ice. A final barrier? Or much like the others he had come across thus far...
- " Your endeavors are meaningless." He pried his fist from the endented structure, only to rear back his opposing arm. " No matter your method, the outcome will never change... Though, your tenacity is predictable... All of you Humans are the same."
- The aurelean glow of Cosmic energies mended to the brewing Occult oozing through one's pores, transmogrifying the pending spell to a negatively charged burgundy. Gravitational influence of the risen limb forced internal energies to rattle at his knuckles, aggregating its mass placement to manipulate weight: A magically charged punch; the fist was bolted forth with enough shattering force to splay back even the magi behind the wall.
- Diamond's dust glimmered throughout the immediate scape, though one's clouded vision would not eventually percieve Exovaryn standing before him had they idled long enough to peer through the veil.
- " Where is all of that confidence to kill me, now? " He inquired from directly behind Alexander, demanding of him to face him out of tone alone. Should this act be obliged to, it'd be rewarded with a stern punch to the abdomen to crunch the man over to one's volition, stripping them of their lung's capacity: Winded. " Are your ilk, broken so easily?" The fist was retracted to allow one the will to breath, though he'd never be allowed to falter to his knees for another hand had weaved through his alabaster threads of hand, locking them in its malignant grasp.
- "Is this, how you progress? How you humans learn?" His other arm quickly came to the aid of his former, shoving down at one's head for the coming of a vicious knee prodding the facial features inbound, answering ears with the distinct crackle of broken cartilage.
- Sheer inertia would force Alexander to stand upright once more, but only to fit his body to one's next strike, preformed with a rather excessive aerial-borne kick, spun into to launch the Exorcist in horizontal fashion for the horizon. One's anguish could be expressed through his soar, but would inevitably by ceased by a tight fastening concluding his flight about his right ankle's region.
- A slender serpent of Lyperion Utovex had been summoned from his vessel, protruding from his back for meters' distance, allowing an outstretched Alexander to plop back to the grasses relatively soft in comparison to what he had experienced before, though the receding procedure proved quite contradicting to said nature, savagely whipping him up, only to slam him down to the earth hardly feet in front of Exovaryn...
- Expected to have been winded, he'd be lifted up slowly- if not already unconscious...
- As of now, he'd be hung by his ankle, upside down, facing Exovaryn- Face to face...
- Though, he said nothing, rather curious as to his survival rate for that matter. The tendril digging into the flesh of his ankle was restrained of its siphon, but would burn true to the Occultic arcane, nonetheless, transcending flesh to a visible lavender with blackened veins.
- (Exovaryn "Voss" Haruke)
- It turns out being so near the battle of a deranged cosmic occultist and an icy exorcist wasn't her best idea! The occassional squawk and squeak followed by a shuffling from bush to bush. Trying her darndest to avoid punctures of ice and depraved magic alike! It wasn't until gravity came into play that she started tumbling!
- Clack, clackity clack clack
- She rolled across the swampy ground, dully thudding with the obscenely large blade still attached to her back! She eventually rolled into a sitting position, stumbling to her feet she immediately started her awkward rushing towards Alexander! Only for the frightening fella with the odd-- yet familiar magic to cause her to freeze up.
- "Y-ya tried ta kill 'em!? Bad!" She takes advantage of the Harukean holding Alexander upside down, reaching up on her tippy toes to bop the man's shoulder, utterly ignorant to the dangers ahead as she chastized the Exorcist. "Killin' 's bad! My pappy says so... Ya can hurt folk and punish thems but ya shouldn't kill them it's bad!"
- She blinked a few times, almost as if she was just realizing that an abomination was off towards her left. She slowly turns her head and stares up at Exovaryn annd-- and her voice was suddenly caught in her throat, a little nervous gulp followed by the curve of her knees as she threatened to collapse. Oh right, she was in a terrifying position right now!
- "U-Uh.. Y-yer not gonna kill him right? P-pr-pretty please?"
- (Krishna)
- Alexander wasn't sure how close he was to winning, but he sure knew he was close to losing this fight.. The Boreas' ice walls only seemed to stop the Harukean once - his combinations of magic clearly more superior than that of the ice magi. He really had no chance here. "Why did I get so cocky?!" He'd think to himself - losing the battle fairly soon after.
- That's how the Boreas would find himself dangled before the occultist - his flesh beginning to burn with the occultism of Exovaryn. Even worse - he was now being chastized by Krishna! Alexander felt extremely stressed - being hung upside down was making him feel light-headed, too. As he was suspended in the air, something seemed to drop to the ground - a mirror! It looked extremely expensive........................................................................
- All throught it though - Alexander stayed silent. He knew he had failed. This was likely his end, something he almost met at with Radu last year..
- (Alexander Boreas)
- Eyes flickered about the facade of a battered Ice magi: Beaten, incapacitated for as much as he could tell. There was nothing radiating off this man, that could possibly wage a challenge for him anymore. Though, there was still the fact that he hungered. The mirror that fell from his person did garner his attention, albeit briefly before he was distracted by a third party. He heard the voice earlier, but only now was it granted a face.
- Nigh seven feet and lacking any draconic genes, he stared down upon the youth, callous as to what she may attempt. She was armed with an obscurely sized blade, which left him without surprise, should she actually know how to use it. " More children, trying to play the role of warriors before their time... Cute... Bite-sized... Muuuuuuunchkiiiiiiiiiiiins"
- Lips parted, as a quartet of digits escaped his maws to pry his mouth open. The lips of his lips were strained to the point of tearing, shredding cheeks asunder with the cackle of vermillion static clinging intimately to the open flesh, constantly invoking the regeneration process whilst tearing his vessel apart. The carnivorous teeth, once concealed behind his flesh were visible for all to bare witness to.
- One's nape swelled, inflammed to such extent that traces of darkened veins beamed for the flesh's surface. Alas, maws parted wholly for a direct gander down one's gullet, peering into the onyx depths of one's seemingly bottomless gullet.
- A glimmer, as result of magical presences spawned midst the abyss, slowly flourishing in size with its augmenting vacuum on the subjects of reality. It was the pit of a gravity well: A black hole birthed before one's very eyes, in all of its mauve glory.
- Though, theories of black holes would be debunked on this day- Not transporting instances suckled within it to oblivion, but rather hypercondensing all subjects, as various as nearby shrubs, rodents and even relatively close Yokai prior to ensnaring them to its pull. Though, he was aimed at Krishna! She could retaliate at her own volition, but considering what power he had demonstrated already, it was doubtful at best.
- She had made the mistake of approaching him, badgering his prey when he was burdened by hunger, and now she'd be the victim... At least... Such could've been the case. Alexander was not knocked unconscious, still capable of making one last act in this defining moment.
- Serpents of the void had spawned from Exovaryn's eternal darkness, attempting to properly fasten about her legs to stumble her should she attempt to flee, combatting her directly prior to dragging her into the belly of the beast for absorption...
- But this was an opening, if not for liberation, to prove... An actual hero against this blatant monster.
- The Harukean's laughter riveted through nigh yokai telepathic static, resounding across the immediate scape, nigh maniacal. He absolutely loved to torment what he perceived as an inferior species. Thus, constantly underestimating the power, in favor of boasting his own.
- " I've been waiting for an appetizer..."
- (Exovaryn "Voss" Haruke)
- An unexpected turn, nonetheless, the little girl's eyes widened in surprise when the man turned on her, an awkward raise of her hands to swat dirt, muck, and grime in his general direction. A shell of earthly vegetation enthralls her body in a vain attempt against the well, Harukean's actions. She was, literally and utterly helpless to face off against the abominations.
- In fact, she couldn't find the right words for the situation. As sturdy as she was, the tentacles that whipped at her ankles caused her to fall flat against the ground with a loud crackle, her fingers yanked upon the dirt, digging into it as she tried desperately to crawl away from it, kicking and screaming all the way. Much to her horror, it wasn't happening.
- "HELP HELP HELP!"
- It was all she could babble out, well, if the Harukean had done one thing, it was making her think he wasn't human in the slightest, but rather some kind of hideous.. Amalgamation of yokai and beast! Snot nosed and snivvling she dug her fingers into the earth, slowly being dragged closer and closer towards the deranged Harukean's gaping maw.
- The end was drawing, and her life was oh so brief, trembling arms trying so desperately to pull away, to escape the end, she couldn't even get herself to look backwards, the mortality of the situation was slowly dawning on her as she screeched and pleaded for someone, something anything to get her out of this predicament.
- (Krishna)
- Still hung in the air, Alexander's eyes would widen as Krishna was suddenly turned on - the maw of Exovaryn suddenly growing. "Blue -- No!" He'd call out, Alexander being the one in Danarium with the friends who were children -- ones he'd sworn to protect! Alexander was a protector of children.
- Alexander would go into his holy aura - mustering all of the magical power he can! He only had one shot at this - an ancient technique that rarely anyone had used in the past. The ability to become ice.
- Alexander would summon forth a pool of holy-water - quickly.. Ingesting it? The boy would drink the holy-water, before wind would surround him - the breeze attempting to push away Krishna in the process.
- Alexander's skin would become pale - cold, and.. Blue? His wind magic was circling around his body - freezing the water that was held within it. His skin was becoming blue - icy to the touch.
- Actually, Alexander was becoming an ice-statue, but a living one.
- "Magical Arts: Ice Form!" Alexander would scream out - utilizing the technique wrong, but he was doing it anyways. He'd break free of the tendril momentarily - if not, he'd drive it with him..
- He'd ram his entire body - ice instead of flesh, into the maw of Exovaryn. He'd turn though - his face turning towards Krishna..
- There seemed to be a smile.
- (rip alexander boreas, 866-890)
- (Alexander Boreas)
- Krishna's fate was sea- She was... Brushed aside! The tethering appendages severed, and gravitational flux lost its grasp upon her, leaving her liberated by... Alex. Though, he may have contradicted himself with his actions that started this bout, he seemed to have amended for it, sparing the girl of a heinous fate...
- A fusion of Holy Water and Ice fabricated a transformation unlike any other, transcending this magi into an animated mass of Ice. It was certainly a form that proved destructive to the tendril that attempted to hold him restrained, to siphon at him prior- now retreated.
- This power, utilized by Alexander to take her place betwixt the gargantuan maws, rowed with sharpened teeth. The sheer weight of the magi had forced Exovaryn to stumble, losing all attention from the fallen item and the child to focus on what lied within his mouth, crystallizing his tongue and flesh in a painful matter.
- A screech skimmed for the horizon, concurrent to a human's growling cry of his own- Anguished, pained.... Angered...
- The flesh seemed to rapidly mesh back together, tightening the pressure betwixt his jaws and hastening the flow of the Black Hole's vacuum, hissing at his crystalline figure.
- ... It was then, that Krishna could be bestowed with his smile...
- The smile, of a man having saved her life: A man, whom had held off this monster despite the odds, having frozen its mouth open to best it, leaving opening to a final bl-
- A brusque snap sounded off, echoing for a prospect. So abruptly, jaws had shut, semblance to glass shards rained down to the marshy soil in a vivid animation that seemed to play slowly. Exovaryn had reverted back to normal, gulping down what didn't scatter sloppily across the soils about, rapidly condensing it to weigh into the soil with the combined weights of several dozen common men, and now... One magi to add to the mix.
- The mana reserve of Alexander had been suckled from his crippled form, drained into Voss' own, soon to grow assimilated. Regenerative static briefly terraformed his visage to replicate some similar properties of his person, adopting few of Alexander's traits. The tendrils of Lyperion Utovex had receded back to his flesh, going dormant once more, but rather than his power growing suppressed, an explosion of essence tormented the scene.
- A single ray of heliotrope scoured for the heavens, caressed by the harassing fits of onyx static, generating the antipodal of Eternia's natural gravity. Hair and apparel alike danced in the fabricated galestorm, carrying stray bolts of magically induced lightning, arms and legs splayed out to embrace the supercharging sensation of excess mana added to his circuitry. He had grown stronger with this absorption... For Alexander would never entirely be gone...
- He would live on, in Exovaryn- as many other victims to his hunger would reside for the remainder of his existence.
- " This power.... I- It's.... Extraordinary!" He gazed down upon his arms with excitement, never having felt the exhilarating rush of absorbing a magi before, until now...
- "So... This is how the Patriarchs felt... The Oracles felt... I can understand how Oracle Eutan grew so strong now!" He exclaimed in monologue.
- "Though, I shall surpass it!"
- (Exovaryn "Voss" Haruke)
- Freedom!
- The small child immediately rushed to her feet! Someone had come to her rescue, now together they could--
- And she had to turn around, the gesture to reach for her blade halted when she saw what Alex had done. Little blue hues began to widen, cheeks growing pale as she reached a hand outwards, almost as if she was trying to, from a distance, pull him out of the mouth of such a foul abomination.
- Snap
- She fell back into the swampy dirt and muck the moment Exovaryn's entirity snapped around Alexander. She scuttled back in the dirt, her mind racing as she tried to figure out-- No, he--but! That smile was the last thing she'd ever seen of a man, a man she briefly met in Tilandre.. Not even a week ago. Her little heart raced in her chest, tears streaking down her face as she tried to formulate words.
- Kris wanted nothing more then to scream, but her voice wouldn't come. There was nothing she could do, and it was.. Wrong. Feeling so helpless, the words lost upon her as she turned to scurry away, only for her hand to collide with--
- A mirror. Little fingertips curled around the exquisite and expensive object. There was nothing left of Alexander. Nothing but this mirror, and she clutched her to her trembling chest... Trying to make a slick get-away when Exovaryn started his villainous monologue.
