She shakes her head. "For that hideout, maybe. He has hideouts all over the world with plenty of money, and the missions he's doing now are still worth more combined than what he's paying." She stops, thinking she has said to much, and sinks back into her dark corner.

"No, honey." Yuni turns around and looks at her. "You probably don't even realize how much he paid for us to test you." Her eyes were soft. "He cares a lot about you." Yuni pauses. "Si, miel. I won't be taking his money. Not like we need it." Lima said dryly, but her tone was slightly soft.

"If so, why did you accept the mission?" She turns and looks to them, a hint of curiosity in her eye.

"The amount he paid us to test you alone wouldn't be enough to bury him." Lima stated plainly. "We thought he was going to attack us, too. The job was to gauge us out. We weren't under the impression he'd increase the pay, or assign you to us." Yuni chatters on cheerfully, despite the topic.

"You're a cold-blooded killer." Lima states plainly. "But you still hold onto some childlike innocence." They exited the tunnel, and the rain stopped. Lima paused for a moment. "Ya know," Yuni cut in, leaving Lima in silence. "Lima doesn't really like people much either."

Yuni and Lima locked hands together subtly. "Don't apologize." The rest of the ride was in silence, unless they (Kazumi and Ayumi) want to break that silence.
