//Bwahahaaa! HAHAHAA!// When Maxine gets an idea in her head her personality will shift (some say slightly) to a more crazy form, and she will work very hard, but at the expense of ignoring most everything else going on around her. Explosions, fire, rampaging constructs, little details like that.

//No such thing as magic// Maxine doesn't believe in magic. Any magical effects she explains away as scientific phenomena, and she can get very defensive when this belief is called into question.

+++ **Personal History**

Maxine was a somewhat normal scientist, at least for her world. She loved mechanics, making things move and blow up, sometimes on purpose! She was working on a new device that in theory, could be used to peer into other dimensions and worlds, but she gave the machine either too many hits with her trusty wrench or too few, and the thing went nuts, transporting her into the Library. Now, surrounded by the greatest depository of knowledge ever seen, she tries to get back home, but mostly learns as much as she can.
