  1. Kiani 15th, 581 CE:
  2.
  3. I have seen other peoples write in journals before, and so I thought it might be good to put my thoughts down. My story down, maybe? Do not know if anyone will want to read it.
  4.
  5. But, from the beginning, I remember hearing the trees. My siblings. It feels like they were always there. They would sing and speak and laugh and play, and my life was good. Of course, it was hard to find foods and things on my own, but they helped teach me how to hunt and forage, how to hide in their boughs, and become strong.
  6.
  7. Brother Rowan used to tease me lots when I was little. But it was the teasing that I see between star-shaped siblings now. He would tell jokes and remind me to sleep and take baths and be careful. I think I was his favorite, but I could never be sure. I still stayed in his branches lots more.
  8.
  9. Sister Willow was very pretty, but always moaning about something. Sometimes it was because someone broke one of her branches, or she lost too many leaves, or someone stole her waters, yes. But, at night, she would sing really nicely lullabies. (I miss her-) **this part is struck out with a single line**
  10.
  11. Then there is Cousin Blackthorn. As much as it annoyed them, I always liked eating their flowers, yes. Sweet and tasty! I did get sick a few times, but they were always just laughing it off, and telling me how to get better. They were also always whispering about Lord Silent, but I did not know who He was at the time, so I just thought He was a distant Cousin or something.
  12.
  13.
  14. Not to forget Brother Ravenwood. He was always so prideful and happy to be home and taught me about family. To be honest to myself and to family, because lies would only tear us apart. That nothing mattered but us. Together. Siblings. Family was most important of all. He always had such a loud voice.
  15.
  16. And Father Ravenwood! Also so sleepy. One time I accidentally woke him up, and he grumbled so loud my bones shook! All of my siblings were laughing, but it was good, and we were all goodly.
  17.
  18. It has been a long time since I have heard them laugh.
