Words that might put a break to the smile that Jianyu held on their lips. Even in pain, even in his situation where he needed distance he still followed through with the Shengese's demands. Even then.

A single question was asked as he stepped away.

Is that really how it would be? Was he clinging on the impossible once again? This... kept on happening, didn't it? It happened with Aeliana, and now with Jianyu.

How many years would he let pass before he'd do something about it? How much heartache would he have to go through to reach a time where his life was stable?

Why was it always painful?

There was no love, was there? There was... no beauty left in this relationship. All for the words of another. All because someone else put themselves in-between Yuri and his happiness.

And that time it wasn't even him. He'd... tried making ammends, only to find himself at the receiving end of a break-up. Of an end. Of an insult.

A deep breath was drawn.

"You're right. I always take the easy path and try to find the easy solutions. I.. only act when it's the moment to act. I'm scared. I'm a coward. I accidentally fell for you, and... and I wish that you wouldn't have fallen for me. Because I've hurt you. Because you've hurt me.

You made me happy. You made me so happy I was ready to throw away my life for you, but even that wasn't enough, was it?"

Backed into an emotional corner. He really was a hound.

"If... you don't want me to leave the First Light, then-"

He turned around. Facing his fears. Facing the one that he loved, painfully so. Green eyes took upon the color of a summer day's sky. Energies drawn from the spirit world lended their strength - their might. Yuri was... serious.

Far too hurt to go on walking this path.
Far too upset at the idea of being used.
Far too sad at the thought they weren't happy.

".. I think it's best I bring you back with me."

Where the friends who hadn't let go of him had forced him to see his life as one lacking Jianyu, the latter had forced him to see his life with a toxic, ruined love.

Maybe Jianyu was right.

This would not be the end. Not at all. They removed themself from him to grow and flourish, not be dragged down by him.

If word got out of a certain ivory haired Shengese being captured at the hands of their ex-lover, well... Hel awaited him outside those walls of his.

His left hand rose up to his weapon, eyes still locked upon Jianyu.

"I begged to be with you because you made me happy. Because you were happy. Because we had something that no one else will ever give either of us. We turned second places into first places. But-"

The blade was drawn, held with strength despite the fact his small frame should prevent such from being possible.

"- I've let someone get in-between us."

His body is launched forward, attacking - for once. Sparks of green course across his frame, mingling with the magnificentblue as his blade comes crashing for Jianyu.

[19:48] Delusional in every sense. It actually started to creep them out. Claiming these passions when he hurt them.

"You're never going to see clearly..."

Never will he understand what he did to them. It's all about him. He's selfish in every sense and capacity.

"I was happy, then you made me unhappy and miserable. Never did I say that, also. He said that to further see me feel as I do, letting another hurt me and remain in my life is a disappointment."

Though, the narrative would twist because Yuri wished for the light shone upon him to be a positive one.

"You put that person between us then cried about it... Why are you loving another when you- were supposed to love me. For fuck's sake we shared a bed with one another and you went to a woman who wouldn't even allow you to hold her hand because she's taken??"

Their tongue clicked, steps taken back as their drew their bow.

"I've never forced a single thing upon you. Never. I gave you choices, to stay or walk away. To prove yourself or kick rocks. Yet, you can't accept this at all... And you'll... force me?"

Disgusting, obsessive. Jianyu made a promise to not hurt him. It's been wobbly but at least they've never attacked him like this.

[20:13] It took quite a lot to drive Yuri to the edge. For him to see that he couldn't grasp the life he had ruined. Aeliana. Jianyu. Both of them could have been happy with him. Both of them loved him at one point, yet, he had ruined it. He had chased the other at the wrong time - wanting the impossible and realizing it all too late. His approach of the Shengese wasn't one that should have ended this way.

Jianyu had warmed up to him, yet still wanted him to be nothing more than something to be used, and discarded. It wasn't the life that Yuri sought. It wasn't the happiness he would be satisfied with, either. Eyes tainted blue from the overwhelming amount of mana exerted around him found themselves locked upon the other's the entire time.

A lover at one point. One that... he had forced his love upon. A love that had marked them forever. A love that Yuri was forced to face - to cast away if he wanted to live his life on his own.

Both his hands grasped onto his blade at once, and from within his heart was his will brought forth. Energy gathered along the length of his sword, empowering it with the very desire to live a better life, to move on.

To start this new chapter of his life by cutting away what left him bound to the past.

A violent, unrelenting slash came crashing down towards Jianyu's chest, nearly missing their neck and instead passing over their heart, cutting across the handprint that had served as a reminder of what they had. The energy held within his blade seeped into their body, seeking to destroy, to burning away any and all traces of magic that may come to interfere with his violent action.

He crossed out the love that had been granted, nearly killing the Shengese in the process.

[20:46] Forced once more- What did he seek to gain from this exchange? An ugly dance from misguided obsessions. Would he fight the Princess? That would leave him in a state where, truly, his life would be over.

At least, without a serpent in his life, he can try to be normal for once. Jianyu can move without feeling as though they've disappointed someone they loved.

Lightning crackles- Sparking and sent forth towards his person. Struck, never once in the same place. Foul electricity with crimson dancing along it.

Each shot wears at him, each with a precision greater than their last fight with one another. Even when injured, he's brought closer than before- An injury caused by him. His hurt seeped from emotional to physical.

Jianyu wished to be without him, forever. Why on Eternia would they accept a man like him? Desperation pushed him into hurting them, forcing them. While they come closer than ever with draining, vilemagics striking his body, some deeper than others with piercing marks that drew crimson.

He's too close.

With how he swung his blade, he seemed like he'd go for their neck. Eyes widen- Yet another retreat attempted but he's faster than him. Not as fast as Avlainn but surely able to close this distance.

Nysehk cut along their flesh, missing their neck by a hair, tearing through garment and bandages. Crimson spilled, and they screamed, staggering back as potent mana threatened to seep into them. Vision blurred, crimson dripping and staining pale skin.

"I hate you..."

He went for their life. He could have killed them. Words barely rose above a whisper but they took this time to make that retreat from him. Forever.

For good.

Vision blurred... Tears streamed down their cheek. Pain in all regard.
