1. More weeks passed. Through intense practice in
2. her apartment, Elizabeth Morris was becoming master of
3. her new elastic body. There were very few
4. accidental stretches, usually after a glass of wine, and she had yet
5. to find her own limits. She could flatten
6. out millimeters-thin or shift her mass so parts of
7. her body became giant-size. Changing size was a
8. no-go, however, since she still had that mass to deal
9. with, and any thoughts of inflating herself like a
10. balloon came to a quick end after she ordered a tank
11. of helium to test it out--yes, her body expanded
12. but it was painful for her lungs which were, after
13. all, bearing the brunt of the expansion. Still, she
14. had abilities far above and beyond those of
15. normal women. And she began using them with more
16. impunity. While in the months before, Elizabeth would
17. be horrified at the thought of using her powers any
18. more than she absolutely needed to, now they seemed
19. almost second nature to her. She even stood in front of
20. the mirror in her bedroom on occasion to test
21. herself, swelling one hand then the other, twisting her
22. middle without the top or bottom, even changing the
23. position of some body parts. Adjusting her shoulder
24. almost down to her hip, it was as though her arm
25. just sprouted from there. Likewise, she could move
26. her breasts up, down, and around her chest
27. without discomfort and they seemed natural. Freakish,
28. but natural. Her life at home changed as she
29. incorporated stretching into her routines. For starters, a lot more
30. got done in the way of cleaning now that she could
31. do it sitting down. She just let her upper
32. half wander to grab the implements and do the work
33. while she sat comfortably on the couch in the living room.
34. She also was able to write effortlessly with her
35. feet now, so she could finish her paperwork at home in
36. half the time, sitting cross-legged and stretching her
37. feet above the desk. By warping her toes, it was
38. like having four hands--extremely useful in other respects.
39.
40. Elizabeth had learned to cook since she became
41. a shut-in. Of course, at first every meal took two hours
42. to prepare and left a mess that took another hour
43. to clean up. Everything went much
44. smoother, though, once she got over her hesitance to use her
45. new abilities. Cooking became as simple as sitting at
46. her kitchen table and stretching her neck, hands and
47. feet towards the counter--while her hands chopped
48. and measured, her feet worked the stove, stirring pots
49. and mixing ingredients--the head on the end of
50. her elongated neck keeping watch over it all.
51. Meanwhile, most of her body stayed planted right where she
52. left it, sitting on the chair while the miraculous
53. limbs worked ten feet away. She threw away her keys to
54. everything--her home, her car, file cabinets--everything.
55. Elizabeth simply didnt need them anymore. Anytime she
56. wanted to open something, she pushed a part of her
57. body into the lock and let it find the correct
58. position for the tumblers before turning it. Usually,
59. she just discreetly used a finger to open things,
60. but occasionally she played around--utilizing her
61. tongue or, as she did on one lonely evening, a
62. swollen, elongated nipple pulled from under her blouse.
63. She even opened a door in her apartment once by
64. shifting her vagina upwards on her abdomen and
65. swallowing the doorknob inside it. After that, she
66. twisted inside of herself and the door clicked open,
67. sending a shudder of ecstacy through her entire
68. body. These days, Elizabeth spent most of her time at
69. home walking about in the nude. It slowly dawned on her how
70. much more she was stretching and how much
71. more comfortable shed be without the clothes getting in the
72. way. All of her blinds stayed closed tight so
73. the neighbors wouldnt notice and in time she just
74. stopped wearing her blouses, then skirts. Her
75. uncomfortable underwear having long ago been abandoned, this left her
76. totally as God made her. Elizabeth could not have been
77. happier. Besides, being naked allowed her to use
78. all of her body instead of just her arms and legs.
79. Her breasts and labia could stretch at her whim
80. and be employed usefully to balance atop or even
81. hold objects. In fact, the parts of her body that
82. Elizabeth never thought to use before became some of her
83. favorite stretches. Her ears, nose, and even her clitoris
84. all could extend outwards to do whatever she
85. wanted.Even as her control over her physical
86. abilities improved, her control over her public life nosedived.
87. The lawsuits over her accident were starting to
88. roll in, which forced Elizabeth to hire a lawyer.
89. While her insurance carrier would eventually be forced
90. to settle off the claims, for now they maintained
91. that she should be wholly responsible for all the damages.
92. She needed representation and representation
93. cost money. Money she was running out of.
94.
95. Slowly, her hands began to expand and
96. flatten outwards. The palms fanned out until they were over
97. a foot across and perfectly circular, save for
98. the fingers that still extended out from them.
99. Elizabeth cupped the widened palms and stretched her arms up
100. to the second floor windows, slapping them against
101. the glass as hard as she could. She felt the air
102. push out from under her hands as they flattened
103. against the glass, forming perfect suction with each
104. hand. Elizabeth gave a small tug, and they held. She
105. grinned wildly as she pulled her naked body up to her
106. suction cup hands, performing the same trick on her
107. feet to turn herself into a living wallcrawler.
108. Covering two floors at a time with only four soft POPs
109. to betray her in each step upwards,
110. Elizabeth scampered up the building with incredible
111. ease.Throwing a re-formed foot over the side of the
112. roof, she immediately started looking for a vent inwards.
113. Sure enough, one presented itself. It was covered
114. in thick slats welded to the frame, the kind made
115. to prevent just this sort of break-in. They wouldnt keep
116. Elizabeth out. She decided to have some fun and pushed
117. her pelvis through first, folding
118. herself backwards at the waist to slide through. The
119. slats massaged her chest on the way through, giving her
120. a shudder of pleasure before she noticed how filthy
121. they were. Ugh. So much for fun.She let go of her
122. concentration and simply oozed through the vent as a
123. formless blob, rippling the parts underneath her to
124. propel herself along. Knowing the layout as she did,
125. it didnt take long to find the room she was
126. looking for--the secuirty closet for the executive
127. suites that transmitted all of the data from the
128. upper floors down to the main security
129. team downstairs. Pulling her nipple off her breast, Elizabeth
130. quickly got the padlocks on the circuit breakers and
131. routers off and she went to work deactivating the
132. security system without alerting the guards. A
133. minute later, she was bending over and pushing
134. her body underneath the door, regrouping on the other
135. side and hurrying to the CEOs office. Not even
136. bothering with the dead bolt, she merely pushed through
137. the quarter-inch gap between the heavy glass doors. The CEOs
138. computer sat on his desk, but that wouldnt have what
139. she wanted. There was a safe behind the
140. portrait of Thomas Jefferson on the wall--that was what
141. she came for.Elizabeth got down on her knees and
142. flattened her face against the wall, inching upwards and
143. pushing her head behind the portrait so she could
144. check for a separate alarm system. A speck of dust
145. brushed her distorted eyeball, causing her
146. fully-formed body below to twitch for a second in surprise.
147. Satisfied that there was no alarm on the painting,
148. Elizabeths arms stretched up and removed the painting
149. from on top of her own flattened head. The
150. safe was easy to crack once she got her
151. fingers behind the dial--she stood there face to face with
152. all the information she would ever need to get rich.
153. For a second she felt exteremely indignant. How dare
154. they keep this stuff from people? Instead, the CEO
155. was hoarding data to make himself even wealthier. It didnt
156. seem fair, and for a second she thought
157. of destroying it, but then she remembered why she was there.
158.
159. She took five minutes to memorize as much as
160. she could, then replaced everything and made her way
161. back to the security closet. After putting everything
162. back the way it was, she reached up her arms and
163. slid through the air conditioning vent. Climbing out was
164. a bit more arduous than sliding in, but the ease
165. of another break-in kept her happy. So happy, in
166. fact,
that she didnt even notice the security
167. guard patrolling the roof.Elizabeth spilled out onto the
168. tarpaper with a smile on her face, one that disappeared
169. quickly when she saw the beam of a flashlight thirty
170. feet away. The noise of her appearance caused the
171. guard to swivel the light instantly.Whos
172. there?Elizabeth took off running, only a halfstep ahead of the
173. beam, trying to drastically reshape her features in
174. case it caught up with her. The edge of
175. the building came up on her pretty quickly and in
176. the millisecond she had to decide her fate, one choice became
177. clear. She dove off the top of the roof and began to
178. plummet.

The security guard ran to the edge of the roof
179. and watched what looked like a naked person
180. falling towards the pavement. What were they doing up here?
181. And why kill yourself? The person hit the
182. ground with a thud that echoed up to the roof. The
183. security guard immediately reached for his
184. radio.Somebody get out to lot B now! Somebody just jumped off
185. the roof! Get out there now!
186. ------------------------------------
187. Elizabeth twitched. Oh my God, this hurts,
188. she thought. Up until now she wasnt sure she could
189. be hurt. She was sure now. One eye creaked open to
190. see one of her feet over right next to her head. Off
191. in the distance, she could barely make out...was that
192. her arm? It had to have carried over twenty yards
193. with the impact. She tried to move it. Sluggishly,
194. it came to life and lifted off the ground. She
195. pulled her feet back around to where they were supposed
196. to be.Five hundred feet. I just survived a five
197. hundred foot fall onto concrete. She saw a red light
198. coming from over a nearby slope. It was time to get
199. out of here. She moved her legs to run, but they
200. werent working right. One leg was a couple of feet
201. longer than the other. Frantically, she tried to pull
202. herself together. It wouldnt change. Then she noticed
203. that the side of her face that had flattened on
204. impact hadnt changed back either. And one wrist was
205. bent back 270 degrees and wouldnt straighten
206. out.Hopping on her shorter leg, Elizabeth dragged
207. herself into the bushes. She snatched up her clothes and
208. kept going as fast as she could, slipping and rolling
209. down a long hill to the main access road. She was
210. falling again, extra-long appendages flopping beyond
211. her ability to control them. Her mind was filled
212. with panic.God, please dont let them have closed the gate.
213. I dont know if I can get through like
214. this.Thankfully, the gate stood wide open and unattended
(the
215. guard probably went to get a good look when he heard
216. about a dead jumper). She dragged her leg
217. and scrambled onto the shoulder of the highway, still naked
218. and deformed. She pulled on a blouse, crying out
219. in pain as her wrist went through the sleeve.
220. Then she wrapped a long skirt around her
221. waist,tucking it tight.God...I need to get home....How
222. am I going to get home?
223. ------------------------------------
224. She was approaching the car she had parked a
225. half-mile away from the office. She was surprised to find
226. that it hurt her greatly when she slipped her finger
227. into the lock to open her door. After such a trauma,
228. she figured, her whole body must be tensing up. Any elastic
229. feats were probably going to be painful for a while.
230. Still, she needed a few more before she was home
231. free. The car started compliantly. Elizabeth picked up
232. her stretched right leg and dumped it on the
233. passenger seat--shed drive with her left. The trip home, with her
234. carefully obeying all the traffic laws to avoid being
235. pulled over, took almost an hour. She hid her face at
236. stop lights, pretending to rummage through
237. her glove box or back seat, and made it home
238. without incident. There was no doubt that Elizabeth would call in
239. sick the next morning, but she regretted it anyway.
240. She needed to know if there was any repercussions
241. of tonights adventure. For the moment, however,
242. all Elizabeth wanted to do was get into bed. Even
243. through the pain, it was only a few minutes before she
244. was fast
245. asleep. ---------------------------------------- The first thing she noticed when she awoke was
246. that her face was back to its normal shape, but covered
247. in the bright purple of a massive bruise. Ditto
248. her wrist and leg, but she could tell her wrist was
249. still more than just bruised. She fashioned a sling
250. for herself out of some dishtowels and put her arm in it.
251. There would be no doctor, she was certain of
252. that. When Elizabeth called in to tell the office shed
253. be home sick, her co-worker Kate was dying to dish
254. some dirt. Lizzie, theyre saying that someone jumped off
255. the roof last night! That at least this much of
256. the story had spread to the office rank and file
257. was to be expected. Elizabeth played
258. along. Our roof? Yeah. A security guard said that
259. he caught this naked person on the roof and they
260. just ran right off the edge! He saw whoever it was
261. hit the ground, but get this--when he got down
262. there, there was no body! There had to be a
263. body. Five hundred feet and you dont just walk
264. away. Nope. Nothing. And they were
265. naked? Thats what he says. Man or woman? He
266. said it was dark, so he couldnt
267. tell. Elizabeth breathed a sigh of relief. She wouldnt
268. be identified by the guard. Now for the big
269. question. Do they have any idea what the person was doing
270. up there? No, they actually think the guard might have
271. been crazy or seeing things or drunk...or something.
272. But there wasnt even any blood on the
273. ground. Wow. Weird... She was smiling when she hung up
274. the phone. Despite her injuries, everything had
275. gone off relatively well. The next thing Elizabeth
276. did was go online to her brokerage firm. Using the
277. internet and an anonymizer, she could invest under her
278. new identity without anyone having a clue who she
279. was.
280. The files she had rifled through last night
281. indicated that her companys profits were going to come in
282. well ahead of their expected numbers. This, plus
283. some cost-cutting layoffs they would announce with the quarterly
284. report, would probably push the stock price up nicely
285. in the next couple of weeks. With
286. this information, she invested the few thousand she had
287. and hoped for the best. Out of commission for the
288. next few days at least, she figured, the next best
289. thing to do was find a new reservoir of information
290. to tap. The business pages were of some help, the
291. online brokers site even more. Companies with new
292. products shrouded in secrecy, profit reports that could
293. go either way...with the right information, there
294. were a lot of ways to make short term investments
295. that were very profitable. All she needed to do was
296. get the information That would have to wait.
297. She was in no condition to go anywhere. Not only
298. could she not stretch, she could barely walk around.
299. For the first few hours, Elizabeth had the thought
300. that she had lost her powers entirely, but she
301. innately knew they had not left her. This was
302. apparently just what happens when an elastic woman
303. reaches her limits. And her limits, in this case,
304. entailed jumping off the roof of a five hundred story
305. building.
306. ----------------------------------------
307. She ended up taking three days off work. The
308. bruising faded relatively quickly from her face and even
309. her wrist felt a bit better, though she bought a
310. splint from a medical supply store to keep it immobile
311. a while longer. She was stretching again, but only
312. a little and only a couple times a day. The stock
313. that Elizabeth had bought was holding steady before
314. the quarterly earnings report on Monday, when it
315. would hopefully rise a few points.
316. Unfortunately, some of those cost-cutting layoffs that would
317. be announced might include her and her friends.
318. Though mostly out of her shell, she had a hard time
319. making eye contact with her co-workers knowing they may
320. all be out of work soon. There was one other
321. thing that was nagging at her all week
322. long--Maureen. The two of them had not spoken since their
323. brief fight over two months ago. Elizabeth wanted
324. to talk to her every day, but she didnt know
325. what she would say. There was nothing going on in
326. her life that she could share, nothing Maureen
327. could know. Besides, in a few months Elizabeth would
328. be gone, living a new life with a different name.
329. Better to leave things as they were. Still, she
330. missed her. On the fateful Monday morning of the
331. quarterly report, Elizabeth went to her desk and
332. immediately checked her brokerage account. Sure enough,
333. since trading began in New York, the stock price had
334. jumped four dollars a share. That was a thousand
335. dollars above what she had the night before. Not
336. instant gratification, to be sure, but a good start
337. (and maybe shed do one more bank job to get the
338. ball rolling a little faster). She told the broker
339. to sell if it went up
340. another half-point. This was going to take a while. She wasnt looking
341. to get rich, but the money she had now wouldnt
342. even cover a new security deposit and the first
343. months rent that shed need when she moved. There had to
344. be a way to speed things up.
345.
346. She would do another break in, this time at the
347. main offices of the online broker, get into their
348. system and just give herself more stocks. Unlike a
349. bank, which might notice large overnight cash
350. transactions on their computers, the brokerage had those kind
351. of orders constantly. She would have to set up
352. some other accounts under other false identities to
353. keep the SEC off her back, but that would be no problem.
354. Then, when she would be ready to slip away,
355. the accounts would be closed and wired offshore. By
356. the time anyone noticed something wrong, shed be a
357. ghost. This was going to take a lot of research and a lot
358. of planning. Plus, Elizabeth wasnt even up to a break-in
359. yet. Though the rest of her body had recovered
360. completely, the wrist she injured in the fall was still
361. not at a hundred percent. She flexed it
362. slightly--still tender. Elizabeth refused to go into another
363. building until everything felt perfect. There would be
364. no unecessary risks. She was startled out of
365. this thought by Kate, who had appeared out of
366. nowhere. Hey, Liz! Oh. Hi, Kate. Whats up? A
367. bunch of us are going to get drinks after work.
368. Wanna come? Elizabeth almost said yes. She
369. hadnt socialized with anyone in months. The
370. isolation was killing her, but if she had one too many
371. and accidentally stretched.... I actually had
372. plans tonight, but thanks a lot
373. for asking. Come on. Youve been coming up with excuses
374. every single time Ive asked you to do anything fun.
375. You hardly talk to anyone these days. Ive had a
376. lot on my mind. Well, this will get you
377. right back into the group. What do you
378. say? I have plans... Kate looked at her
379. expectantly. ...but Ill cancel
380. them.
381. -------------------------------------------
382. It turned out that most of the department was
383. there, including a bunch of people Elizabeth didnt
384. even recognize. She ordered a glass of white wine and took a
385. seat next to Kate. Almost immediately, she
386. was approached by Frank Carter, one of the co-workers
387. from whom she had distanced herself since her
388. accident (although in Franks case, the accident was just
389. a useful excuse). Look whos here! Liz Morris,
390. been a while. Are you allowed to talk to us, or
391. this just a brief appearance? I can talk,
392. Frank. If I feel like it. Heard after your car
393. wreck you got sued by half the city. It
394. isnt that bad. It was a conversation she was
395. to have several times that evening. With a drink
396. in her hand, suddenly people found her
397. approachable again. After a couple glasses of wine she felt
398. like socializing, too. For the first night since
399. her accident, Elizabeth was having fun with other
400. people. She was laughing, gossiping, even flirting
401. with the guys.
402. One of them, a new account exec named Sean,
403. bought her another drink and settled down next to
404. her. To tell you the truth, I had heard you kept
405. to yourself. Doesnt look like it, though. She
406. blushed. I was in a car accident. After I got out of
407. the hospital, I didnt really feel like company. Well,
408. sometimes, thats the best thing to help you get
409. better. Not in my case. Huh. Elizabeth
410. looked into his eyes. God, he was cute. She needed a
411. second to regroup. Would you excuse me for a
412. second? Take your time. She walked into the bathroom
413. and locked the door. Looking into the mirror, she
414. checked her makeup, then decided to make some
415. adjustments. A familiar tingle enveloped her breasts and
416. they began to swell inside her brassiere. Not too
417. much, not enough to strain it, but enough maybe to
418. notice. A little more on the hips, a little less in
419. the waist and she was through. Subtle, but
420. hopefully it would make an impression without tipping
421. him off to significant changes. Besides, she
422. thought with a giggle, if he has a different type in
423. mind I can be that later. Thats another advantage
424. to a rubber body. He was waiting for her when
425. she returned. The conversation was engaging,
426. though she could feel his eyes on her--the small
427. stretches had gotten his attention. She was very much
428. into him, though, as well. And the more comfortable
429. she felt with him, the more comfortable her
430. elastic body was feeling. She wanted to stretch all
431. the way around his body and totally surround him
432. in herself. No doubt about it, she was turned on
433. and on top of the world, until she felt the tingle
434. in her legs. Her eyes quickly darted down and
435. she saw her legs crossed--three times. They were
436. crossed at the knee and at mid-calf and at the ankle,
