これから帰還すると伝えてくれ」
Bright: I see... Inform Commander Oka at the Izu Base that we’ll be returning there.

トーレス
「了解」
Torres: Roger.

「…あの後、すぐにハーザがゲートを開くとはな。
こっちの状況に気付いていなかったのか」
Benkei: ...Didn’t think Haza would open a Gate so soon after all that. Did she even know what we were in the middle of?

ミサト
「あるいは、あえてあのタイミングだったのか…」
Misato: It’s possible she intentionally waited until now to send us here...

弁慶
「アレルヤとティエリアも無事だったんだ。
プトレマイオスのクルーもそうだと
信じるしかないな」
Benkei: Well, Allelujah and Tieria are alright. Nothing we can do now but have faith that the rest of the Ptolemaios crew are too.

「…カレン、ヒイロ、ちょうど良かった。
ゼロについて聞きたいことがあるんだけど」
Meg: ...Kallen, Heero. Glad I found you two. I wanted to ask you something about Zero.

カレン
「………」
Kallen: ...

ヒイロ
「何だ?」
Heero: What is it?

メグ
「あなた、あの時、ゼロに忠告したわよね。
もしかして、ゼロシステムで結果が見えていたの?」
Meg: Before, you gave Zero a warning. So did you already see what was going to happen with the Zero System?

ヒイロ
「勝利への過程に不確定要素があると思っただけだ。
お前も懸念があったから、声を掛けたのだろう?」
Heero: I believed there to be certain unpredictable elements that could interfere on the path to victory. You were concerned as well, weren’t you? Isn’t that why you also said something to him?

メグ
「そうだけど…
まさか、あの人が戦線から離脱するなんて…」
Meg: Yeah, but... I mean, I didn’t think he’d just leave the front lines like that...

「最後の一手を見誤ったか」
Heero: He made the wrong choice in the final hour.

メグ
「そうなの、カレン?」
Meg: Is that what you think, Kallen?

カレン
「…私にも詳しい事情は…」
Kallen: ...I just don’t know the full story...

「…そうか」
Heero: ...I see.

「ゼロは無事なのかしら…」
Meg: I wonder if Zero is okay...

「[ブリタニア]があの男の生命を奪ったのなら、
すぐに喧伝するはずだ」
Heero: If they had taken his life, [Britannia] would have spread the news immediately.

「それがないってことは、あの人は生きてる…」
Meg: So since they haven’t, he should still be alive...?

「だとしても、楽観視は出来んがな」
Heero: But even saying that, I wouldn’t keep your hopes up.

「ティエリア、僕は戦い続けるよ。
まだやらなくちゃいけないことがあるから」
Allelujah: I’m going to keep fighting, Tieria. There are still things I need to do.

Tieria: I see...

「君達もこの艦に乗ることになったそうだな」
Athrun: I heard that you’re all going to be aboard this ship now.

アレルヤ
「ああ」
Allelujah: That’s right.

ディアッカ
「行く当てのない者同士、仲良くやろうぜ」
Dearka: We figured we oughta be on good terms, seeing as we’re all people with nowhere else to go.

ティエリア
「君達はこれからも
この艦で戦って行くつもりなのか」
Tieria: Do you two intended to keep fighting aboard this ship?

アスラン
「何故、そんなことを聞く?」
Athrun: Why do you ask?

ティエリア
「異世界での戦いに身を投じ、その先に何を見る?」
Tieria: What exactly do you think will come from throwing yourself into battle in another world?

アスラン
「ありのままを…。
自分がこれから何をすべきか知るために」
Athrun: Honestly... I’m just trying to figure out what it is I should be doing from here on.

ディアッカ
「俺は…借りを返すために、かな」
Dearka: And I’m...returning a favor, I guess.

ティエリア
「答えが見えないまでも、
君達は直近の目的を定めているのだな」
Tieria: So you’ve decided what your immediate goals are, despite not knowing the end result.

刹那
「…戦う意味を見失っているのか?」
Setsuna: ...Do you no longer see a reason to fight?

ティエリア
「そうだな…
[ソレスタルビーイング]が壊滅したも
同然である今は…」
Tieria: Perhaps... Now that [Celestial Being] has been all but annihilated...

アレルヤ
「ティエリア…」
Allelujah: Tieria...

ティエリア
「とは言え、ロンド・ベル隊に拾ってもらった以上、
今後の作戦に協力する意志はある。
何もしないというわけじゃない」
Tieria: Regardless, since Londo Bell has taken us in, I intend to cooperate with their future operations. I won’t simply do nothing.

(Tieria leaves.)

「重傷だな、ありゃ」
Dearka: Yeah, that guy’s not doing so well.

アレルヤ
「ティエリアには時間が必要なんだと思う…。
彼にとって、[ガンダムマイスター]であるということは、
僕達以上に大きな意味を持っていたようだから」
Allelujah: I think Tieria just needs some time... Being a [Gundam Meister] had more significance to him than any of us.

刹那
(ティエリア、俺達はガンダムマイスターだ…。
俺達が存在する限り、それは…)
Setsuna: (We are Gundam Meisters, Tieria... And we will be, so long as we continue to live...)

「先代皇帝陛下の弟であるラ・ゴール…
その息子であるハイネルの存在は、後々に
ズ・ザンバジル皇帝陛下のお立場を揺るがしかねない」
Belgan: Heinel, the son of the previous emperor’s brother, La Gour... His very existence could prove to threaten His Majesty Zu Zambajil’s reign.

ベルガン
「かと言って、直接手を下せば、
ラ・ゴールと確執があった皇帝陛下に
疑義が掛けられるやも知れぬ」
Belgan: However, were I to take action directly, His Majesty, who is well known to have been at odds with La Gour, may have suspicion cast upon him.

ベルガン
「故に、ハイネルは
敵地で討ち死にをする必要があるのだ」
Belgan: As such, Heinel must meet his death on the battlefield in enemy territory.

ズール
「それは重々承知しておる」
Zuhl: I understand completely.

ベルガン
「皇帝陛下は気が長いお方ではない。
近日中に結果を出せぬようであれば、
貴公は失脚することになるぞ」
Belgan: His Highness is not a patient Boazanian. If you do not achieve results soon, you will be stripped of your position.

ズール
「!」
Zuhl: !

ベルガン
「いや、それでは済まぬな。
貴公は皇帝陛下の真意を知っているのだから」
Belgan: In fact, you should expect worse than that. You do know of His Highness’s true intentions, after all.

ズール
「うっ…!」
Zuhl: Ah...!

ベルガン
「こちらはまもなく地球へ発つ。
時間の猶予はないぞ」
Belgan: I shall be departing for Earth soon. Your time is short.

ズール
「わ、わかった。早急に手を打つ」
Zuhl: U-Understood. I will handle it as soon as possible!

Earth Federation Izu Base – Headquarters


岡長官
「…ハーザの予見を裏付ける具体的な事件は
発生していないが、数日前から宇宙で
シャアの[ネオ・ジオン]が動きを見せている」
Chief Oka: ...While there’s nothing definite going on to support Haza’s prediction, Char’s [Neo Zeon] have been showing signs of activity in space recently.

アムロ
「!」
Amuro: !

ブライト
「具体的にはどのような?」
Bright: Can you be more specific?

岡長官
「サイド1のスウィートウォーターに
駐留していた艦隊が、出撃準備を
進めているようなのだ」
Chief Oka: It appears as though the fleet stationed at Sweetwater in Side 1 is preparing to advance.

弁慶
「地球連邦を快く思っていない
別のコロニーを占拠するつもりなんですかね」
Benkei: So they’re moving to another colony that doesn’t take too kindly to the Earth Federation, huh.

岡長官
「詳細は不明だが、
統合参謀本部は示威行動と見なし、
特に対応策を講じていない」
Chief Oka: We don’t know the details as of yet, but the Joint Chiefs of Staff have deemed this action as a show of force and aren’t planning to take any particular countermeasures against it.

アムロ
「昨今、ネオ・ジオンに動きがなかったとは言え、
楽観視するのは危険では?」
Amuro: Neo Zeon may not have been up to much recently, but aren’t they taking this too lightly?

岡長官
「無論、私もそう考えている。
だが、地球連邦政府のアデナウアー・パラヤ氏から
統合参謀本部へ申し入れがあり…」
Chief Oka: I’m of the same mind, of course. But it was a request Mr. Adenauer Paraya of the Earth Federation Government made to the Joint Chiefs of Staff...

岡長官
「私の所にも過敏な対応をするなという
要請が来ている。これは、現状のロンド・ベル隊が
私の管轄下で動いているからだと思うが」
Chief Oka: Our forces have also been requested to refrain from taking any rash actions. And that’s likely because Londo Bell currently operates under my jurisdiction.

アムロ
「シャアが動いているにも関わらず、
俺達に黙って見ていろと?」
Amuro: So we’re expected to just sit back and watch as Char makes his move?

岡長官
「そういうことだな」
Chief Oka: That seems to be the case.

ブライト
「裏で何か事情がありそうですね」
Bright: There’s something going on behind all this.

弁慶
「アデナウアー・パラヤ絡みで?
そもそも何者なんです?」
Benkei: You mean with Adenauer Paraya’s involvement? Who even is he anyways?

ブライト
「地球連邦政府の参謀次官だ。
ロンド・ベル隊の設立に関わった
ジョン・バウアー氏とも繋がりがある」
Bright: He’s the Vice-Minister of the Earth Federation Government’s General Staff. He also has ties with Mr. John Bauer, a man who helped establish Londo Bell.

弁慶
「なら、単なる牽制ってわけじゃなさそうですな。
フィフス・ルナの一件で、連邦政府がネオ・ジオンに
対して及び腰になっているんでしょうかね」
Benkei: Then this definitely isn’t a matter of them just adopting a “wait-and-see” approach. It seems like the Federation Government is reluctant to go against Neo Zeon after the Fifth Luna incident.

アムロ
「フィフスの落下を阻止したのは、
ロンド・ベル隊ですよ。
なのに、静観しろだなんて…」
Amuro: It was Londo Bell that kept Fifth Luna from falling in the first place. And now they want us to just sit tight...

弁慶
「暴発しかねないと思っているんだろう」
Benkei: I bet their thinking we might end up starting a fight, whether we mean to or not.

ブライト
「ネオ・ジオンとの抗争を望まず、
現状を維持したいと考えている
事なかれ主義の政治家は多い」
Bright: There are a number of politicians that want to avoid war with Neo Zeon and maintain the status quo by leaving things as they are.

ブライト
「フィフスは地球へ落ちなかったが、
脅しとしての効果はあったということだ。
現に連邦政府は強攻策を躊躇っている」
Bright: Fifth Luna may not have fallen to Earth, but it was still effective as a threat. So much so that the Federation Government is now hesitant to go on the offensive.

アムロ
「あのシャアが、脅しだけで終わると思うか?」
Amuro: Do you really think Char’s going to stop with just a threat?

ブライト
「思わないから、
例の機体の開発予算も無理を言って通した。
進捗はどうなんだ?」
Bright: Not in the slightest, which is why I’ve been pushing our budget to meet the development costs of that machine we talked about. How’s it coming along?

アムロ
「今はレポート提出待ちだが、
こうなると間に合うかどうか…」
Amuro: I’m waiting for the report to be submitted right now, but whether it’ll be on time or not is another story...

アムロ
「シャアがフィフス落下と
同じようなことを目論んでいたら、
ハーザの予見は的中することになる」
Amuro: If Char’s planning something like dropping Fifth Luna again, it would match up with Haza’s prediction.

弁慶
「だが、今度は何を地球へ落とす?
ダブリンの一件もあるから、ネオ・ジオンが
コロニー落としを敢行するのは至難の業だし…」
Benkei: But what would they be planning to drop to Earth this time? After what happened with Dublin, it’d be next to impossible for Neo Zeon to drop a colony...

弁慶
「廃棄コロニーを移動させるとしても、
準備段階でバレちまうぞ」
Benkei: Even if they tried using an abandoned colony, we’d know about it well before they were ready.

アムロ
「その通りですが、
シャアの動きとハーザの予見には
関係があるような気がするんです」
Amuro: You’re right, but I just have this feeling that what Char’s doing and Haza’s prediction have some sort of connection.

岡長官
「政府筋の情報収集はこちらでしておく。
諸君らは補給や整備が終わり次第、
宇宙へ上がってくれ」
Chief Oka: I’ll gather as much information as I can from government sources on my end. For now, I want for you to go into space as soon as your resupplies and maintenance are completed.

ブライト
「…それは、ネオ・ジオンへの
過敏な対応に当てはまるのでは?」
Bright: ...Wouldn’t that be considered a “rash response” to Neo Zeon?

岡長官
「ボアザン軍は宇宙でも侵略行動を取ったことがある。
今後もそれは行われるだろう。君達はあくまでも
その対処のため、宇宙へ赴くのだ」
Chief Oka: The Boazanians have conducted space invasions before. There’s no reason to believe they won’t continue to do so. You’ll be going into space to prevent such an occurrence.

岡長官
「もちろん、これは建前だ。
いざとなったら、ネオ・ジオンと
事を構えても構わん」
Chief Oka: Obviously, that’s just your official reason for doing so. If the need arises, it will be up to you to stand up to Neo Zeon.

ブライト
「ご配慮、ありがとうございます」
Bright: I can’t thank you enough for your consideration, sir.

岡長官
「いずれにせよ、ロンド・ベル隊が
各世界の危機により対処し易くなるよう
近日中に超法規的措置を確立したいと考えている」
Chief Oka: Also, I’ve been considering taking extreme legislative measures to allow Londo Bell to more easily react to dangers that present themselves in each of the worlds sometime in the near future.

岡長官
「ジョン・バウアー氏を含め、
この考えに賛同してくれる参謀や政府高官も
増えてきている」
Chief Oka: A growing number of the Chief of Staff and government officials, including Mr. John Bauer, have come to agree with this sentiment.

岡長官
「この世界ではロンド・ベル隊を中核とした部隊を
改めて発足することになるが…以前に話した
総称は決まったかね?」
Chief Oka: That would have Londo Bell re-established as the core of a newly formed unit in this world. ...Have you given any more thought about having a group name for such a force, like we discussed before?

ブライト
「この後の艦長会議で決定し、下達する予定です」
Bright: We’ll have a decision for you at the next captain’s conference after this.

岡長官
「了解した。もし、大きな作戦が発動するようならば、
それが新生部隊の初任務となるかも知れんな…」
Chief Oka: Understood. If a major operation does result from all this, then that could prove to be the inaugural mission of this newly formed force...

「そう何度も皇帝陛下へ弁明するわけにはいかぬ。
ボルテスVがこの世界へ戻って来たのであれば、
彼奴を打倒する手を考えよ」
Heinel: We cannot continue to present the Emperor with excuses time and time again. Now that Voltes V has returned to this world, we must find a way to strike it down.

ジャンギャル
「では、ボルテスがビッグファルコンへ
帰還したところを急襲しましょうぞ」
Jangal: Then I suggest we attack Voltes when it returns to the Big Falcon.

カザリーン
「それでは、これまでの作戦と大差ありません。
しかも、偵察部隊の報告では
例の部隊に属する戦艦が増えており…」
Katherine: But that’s not really any different from our usual operations. Furthermore, our scout team reported that their forces have increased their number of battleships...

カザリーン
「本星からの増援がままならぬ現状で
力勝負を挑むのは得策と思えません」
Katherine: I don’t believe challenging them while we’ve yet to receive reinforcements from our home planet would be wise.

ジャンギャル
「ならば、どうすると言うのだ?」
Jangal: Then what would you suggest?

カザリーン
「ボルテスを打ち破る力を持った
新たな獣士を開発すべきです」
Katherine: We should construct a new Battle Beast, one with enough power to crush Voltes.

ジャンギャル
「だが、それには時間が掛かる。
彼奴らはいつまた別の世界へ行くか
わからんのだぞ」
Jangal: But that will take time. And we don’t know when they may leave for another world.

カザリーン
「ですから、ここは次の機に備えて…」
Katherine: Which is why we should instead begin preparations for our NEXT opportunity...

ハイネル
「余にまた皇帝陛下へ弁明せよと言うのか」
Heinel: You would have me offer the Emperor yet more excuses?

ズール
「お待ち下さい。私めに必勝の策がございます」
Zuhl: Please, wait. I have a strategy for you that is foolproof.

ハイネル
「…その言葉、真であろうな?」
Heinel: ...I trust you speak truly?

ズール
「ははっ。まずはこの映像をご覧下さい」
Zuhl: Yes, my lord. First, please have a look at this screen.

ハイネル
「!」
Heinel: !

ジャンギャル
「武器か何かと思っておったが、
これが必勝の策なのか?」
Jangal: I expected a weapon or some such, but can this honestly be used for a foolproof strategy?

ハイネル
「ズール、作戦の内容を申してみよ」
Heinel: Zuhl, speak more of what your plan entails.

ズール
「これを用い、彼奴らに揺さぶりを掛けます。
その後、ハイネル様にご出陣いただき、
ボルテスVを討ち取って下さいませ」
Zuhl: We will use this to fluster them. After that, you may enter the battle yourself, Prince Heinel, and eliminate Voltes V!

ハイネル
「ふむ…彼奴らの弱点を突くというわけか。
しかも、使いようによっては、ビッグファルコンの
中枢に大損害を与えられるな」
Heinel: Hm... So you would strike at their weakness. And, depending on how it is utilized, you would be able to cause grave damage to the very heart of the Blue Falcon.

ズール
「左様で。是非、御自らの手でご成果を」
Zuhl: Indeed, my lord. And I would like nothing more than to see you accomplish this for yourself.

ハイネル
「良かろう。此度の作戦、余が出よう」
Heinel: Very good. Then I shall see to this operation personally.

カザリーン
「いけません。
先程も申し上げた通り、例の部隊は
戦力を増強させております」
Katherine: You mustn’t. As we said earlier, their force’s strength has only increased since last time.

カザリーン
「ハイネル様に万一のことがあれば、
それこそ皇帝陛下に弁明できません」
Katherine: If something were to happen to you, Prince Heinel, we would not be able to explain it to the Emperor.

ズール
(この女、余計なことを…!)
Zuhl: (That woman and her mouth...!)

ハイネル
「カザリーン、
そなたは余が彼奴らに敗れると申すか」
Heinel: Katherine. Are you suggesting that I may be bested by them?

カザリーン
「我らの計画は、ボルテス共を討ち取れば
終わるわけではありません。占領後の地球統治も
考慮しなければならないのです」
Katherine: Our plans do not end with the defeat of Voltes and its ilk. We must consider how the Earth will be governed after the occupation.

カザリーン
「どうか御身のお役目を熟考され、
此度のご出陣は思い止まり下さいませ」
Katherine: Please, I humbly ask that you consider your duty carefully and refrain from entering battle on this occasion.

ズール
「いえ、皇帝陛下のご期待に応えるには、
ハイネル様自らの手でボルテスを倒すことが
肝要かと…」
Zuhl: No, in order to meet the Emperor’s expectations of him, it is imperative that Prince Heinel defeat Voltes personally--

ジャンギャル
「何故、そうまでしてご出陣を促すのだ?
誰がボルテスを討ち取ろうと、その手柄は
ハイネル様の物になるのだぞ」
Jangal: Why do you keep insisting he go into battle? No matter who defeats Voltes, the achievement will belong to Prince Heinel.

ズール
「そ、それはその通りじゃが…」
Zuhl: Th-That may be so, but...

カザリーン
(…やはり、何かある)
Katherine: (...There’s something going on here with him.)

ハイネル
「そなたらの忠心は良くわかった。
カザリーンの言葉通り、余の役目は
ボルテス共の討伐だけではない」
Heinel: Your loyalty is well understood. Just as Kathrine has said, my duty extends beyond merely defeating Voltes.

ハイネル
「そして、
ド・ズールが必勝の策だと申すのであれば、
余が出るまでもあるまい」
Heinel: Besides... If this strategy is as infallible as you have claimed, Doh Zuhl, then there is no need for me to take to the field personally.

「では、ド・ズール…今回は貴様が出るのだな」
Jangal: Then, Doh Zuhl... You will go to battle this time.

ズール
「な、何故?」
Zuhl: B-But why?

カザリーン
「必勝の策なのでしょう?
それを自ら実践するのですね」
Katherine: Your plan cannot fail, correct? Then you will carry it out yourself.

ハイネル
「そうだな。ド・ズール、そなたに任せる。
見事、手柄を挙げてみせよ」
Heinel: Indeed. I leave this matter to you, Doh Zuhl. Show me exactly how you will achieve victory.

「は…ははっ」
Zuhl: Y...Yes, my lord.

ハーザの予見の話は、既に岡長官から聞いている」
Dr. Hamaguchi: I’m glad to see you all back here. I’ve already been informed about Haza’s prediction from Chief Oka.

「おかげで、すぐに宇宙行きだぜ。
下手すりゃ、ネオ・ジオンと戦闘だ」
Ippei: We’ll be going to space soon because of that. And if things go poorly, we’ll be fighting Neo Zeon.

浜口博士
「それも知っている。
ボルテスVとコン・バトラーVの整備を急がせよう」
Dr. Hamaguchi: Yes, I’m aware. I’ll have maintenance performed on Voltes V and Combattler V as quickly as possible.

「ありがとうございます」
Kosuke: Thank you very much, sir.

「とりあえず、俺達は一休み出来るかな」
Hyoma: Welp, guess we can take a breather in the meantime.

「僕らも休みたいなあ」
Hiyoshi: I wish we could take a break too.

「そうはいかんかも知れんぞ」
Dr. Hamaguchi: That may not be possible.

Kenichi: What do you mean?

「実は、このビッグファルコンに
ある人物が来ることになっていて…」
Dr. Hamaguchi: It would appear someone is approach the Big Falcon as we speak...

「敵襲!?」
Kenichi: Is it an enemy!?

浜口博士
「その通りだが、レーダーでキャッチされたのは
ボアザンの円盤1機だけだ」
Dr. Hamaguchi: Yes, but we’ve only detected a single Boazanian saucer on radar.

豹馬
「だったら、すぐに叩き落としてやるぜ」
Hyoma: Oh, well we’re gonna swat that thing down in no time flat.

「ほな、バトルジェットだけで充分やろ。
ワイらは休んどくわ」
Juzo: Oh yeah? I reckon the Battle Jet will be fine on its own. We’ll just kick back here.

「ふざけんな!」
Hyoma: Dude, seriously!?

「円盤からの通信…!」
Dr. Hamaguchi: We’re receiving a communication from the saucer...!

「こっちに宣戦布告でもしようってのか?」
Ippei: Is it supposed to declare war on us or something?

「聞こえるか、ビッグファルコン!
私は剛健太郎!至急、救援を頼む!」

Dr. Go: Ugh! The controls aren’t responding...!

(Voltes V and Combattler V appear.)

Hiyoshi: Father’s saucer!

「みんな、父さんを助けるぞ!」
Kenichi: Everyone, protect dad!

「おう!」
Daijiro: Right!

「こっちも気合入れて行くぞ!
健一達を親父さんと会わせてやるためにな!」
Hyoma: Alright, let’s get our head in the game! We’re doing this so Kenichi and his brothers can see their old man again!

「ええ、もちろんよ!」
Chizuru: Yeah, let’s do it!

(剛健太郎がボアザン軍に囚われていたのなら、
何故、このタイミングで…?)
Dr. Hamaguchi: (But if Kentaro Go was being held captive by the Boazanian forces all this time, then why now is he...?)

(Battle 1 begins. Kentaro Go’s saucer cannot be targeted and enemies do not attack it.)

Kenichi: Don’t cry, Hiyoshi.

Daijiro: A man shouldn’t cry when he’s happy.

「兄ちゃん達だって、泣いてるじゃないか…」
Hiyoshi: But you guys are crying too...

「すまない…みんな、苦労を掛けたな」
Dr. Go: I’m sorry... I’ve caused you all no end of hardship.

「そ、そんなこと…。
それより、父さんは今までどうして…?」
Kenichi: N-No, you didn’t... But what have you been doing until now...?

剛博士
「私はお前達の下を離れた後、
ボアザンに捕まってしまい、囚人として
強制労働をさせられていた」
Dr. Go: After I left you all, I was taken prisoner by Boazanians and forced into slave labor.

剛博士
「だが、仲間と共に機会を見て逃げ出し、
私だけが命からがらここまでやって来られたのだ」
Dr. Go: Then, my comrades and I saw an opportunity to escape and took it. However, I was the only one to make it here with my life.

健一
「そうだったのか…」
Kenichi: So that’s what happened...

剛博士
「母さんは元気か?」
Dr. Go: How is your mother?

健一
「母さんは…ボアザンとの戦いで
僕達を守るために…」
Kenichi: Mom... She protected us in a fight with the Boazanians...

剛博士
「そうか…。
お前達にはこれまで辛い戦いをさせてしまったな…。
だが、これからは父さんも一緒…ううっ」
Dr. Go: I see... You’ve all had to fight so hard for so long... But now, your father will be here with you--Ugh...

健一
「父さん、怪我がまだ痛むんだろ。
安静にしてなきゃ駄目だ。
大次郎、日吉、外に出よう」
Kenichi: Your wounds must still be hurting, dad. You need your rest. Daijiro, Hiyoshi, let’s step outside.

日吉
「兄ちゃん、僕はお父さんが心配なんだ!
傍にいたいよ!」
Hiyoshi: But, I’m worried about father! I want to stay with to him!

健一
「日吉、わがままを言っちゃいけない」
Kenichi: Don’t be so selfish, Hiyoshi.

剛博士
「いや…日吉は物心つく前に私と別れてしまった。
私に甘えるのも無理はない。
ここにいさせてやってくれ」
Dr. Go: No... I left Hiyoshi when he was too young to even understand what was going on around him. It’s only natural he behave like this. Let him stay here with me.

健一
「…わかった、父さん。行こう、大次郎」
Kenichi: ...Alright, dad. Let’s go, Daijiro.

大次郎
「おう」
Daijiro: Right.

(Kenichi and Daijiro leave.)

「お父さん…会いたかった…本当に…」
Hiyoshi: Father... We finally got to meet... Finally...

「日吉…父さんも会えて嬉しい。
今までのことを色々と聞かせてくれ」
Dr. Go: Hiyoshi... I’m so glad I’ve had to chance to meet you as well. Please, tell me everything you’ve done up till now.

Hiyoshi: Okay...!

Dr. Hamaguchi: (Neither physical examination or questioning have shown any signs of abnormality in Go. Could I merely be over thinking this...?)

Kenichi: We’re done meeting with dad, Dr. Hamaguchi.

Dr. Hamaguchi: Alright.

「日吉はどぎゃんした?」
Daisaku: Hiyoshi’s not with you?

「おとっさんの所に残るって聞かんから、置いてきた」
Daijiro: He said he wanted to stay by father’s side, so he’s still with him.

「お前らも、もっと一緒にいていいのによ」
Hyoma: You guys should have stayed with him for longer too.

「とは言え、ボアザンが
また攻めて来るかも知れない。
待機しておかなきゃな」
Kenichi: You never know if the Boazanians are going to attack again. We need to remain on standby.

豹馬
「日吉がいなきゃ、ボルテスは出撃できねえだろ。
それに、敵が来たって、俺達が蹴散らしてやるよ」
Hyoma: Well it’s not like Voltes can launch without Hiyoshi. Besides, if any enemies show up, we’ll send ‘em packing.

健一
「そう言ってくれるのはありがたいが…」
Kenichi: I appreciate you saying that, but...

豹馬
「いいから、親父さんの所へ戻れよ」
Hyoma: Look, it’s fine, just go on back to your old man.

めぐみ
「何で豹馬はそんなに親身になってるの?」
Megumi: Why are you being so nice about this, Hyoma?

豹馬
「俺がいた孤児院じゃ、
親を恋しがって泣いてる奴が多かったからな。
健一達の気持ちは多少なりともわかるのさ」
Hyoma: I’ve seen a lot of kids crying over missing their parents back when I was at the orphanage. So I at least kinda get how Kenichi and his brothers are feeling.

「孤児院って…じゃあ、お前は…」
Kenichi: Orphanage...? Then, you’re--

「俺の話はいいんだよ。
親と一緒にいられる内に話したいことを話しとけ」
Hyoma: We don’t need to talk about me. If you wanna talk to your dad, then you oughta do it while you can.

「またボアザンが襲って来やがったら、
十三がバトルクラッシャーで相手をするからよ」
Hyoma: And if the Boazanians try and attack us again, Juzo will go take ‘em on in the Battle Crusher.

「ワイだけかいな!」
Juzo: Not by myself I ain’t!

(Go and Hiyoshi appear.)

「すまない、失礼する」
Dr. Go: Pardon the intrusion.

「父さん!?」
Kenichi: Dad!?

剛博士
「皆にどうしても伝えたいことがあってな。
日吉にここまで連れて来てもらった」
Dr. Go: There’s something I needed to tell you all. That’s why I had Hiyoshi bring me here.

日吉
「安静にしてって言ったんだけど、
どうしてもって…」
Hiyoshi: I told him to rest, but he wouldn’t listen...

浜口博士
「剛、我々に伝えたいこととは何だ?」
Dr. Hamaguchi: What is it you wish to tell us, Go?

剛博士
「それは…」
Dr. Go: Well...

(Dr. Go attacks Dr. Hamaguchi and takes him hostage.)

浜口博士
「ぐうっ!?」
Dr. Hamaguchi: Guagh!?

健一
「と、父さん!?何をしてるんだ!?」
Kenichi: D-Dad!? What are you doing!?

剛博士
「動くな、健一。浜口博士の息の根が止まるぞ」
Dr. Go: Don’t move, Kenichi. Otherwise, Dr. Hamaguchi’s life will come to an end.

健一
「!!」
Kenichi: !!

日吉
「お、お父さん!!」
Hiyoshi: F-Father!!

剛博士
「私はボアザンに捕まり、ボアザンが
いかに素晴らしいかを知った。
健一、大次郎、日吉、共にボアザンのために戦おう!」
Dr. Go:  When I was captured by the Boazanians, I learned how magnificent they are. Kenichi, Daijiro, Hiyoshi, let’s fight together for the sake of Boazan!

大次郎
「な、ないをゆちょっど!?」
Daijiro: W-What are you saying!?

浜口博士
「ご、剛…!」
Dr. Hamaguchi: G-Go...!

剛博士
「すまん、浜口。
こうでもしないと、健一達に真実を伝えられんのだ」
Dr. Go: I’m sorry, Hamaguchi. I can’t get the truth across to Kenichi and the others without resorting to this.

浜口博士
「し、真実だと…!?」
Dr. Hamaguchi: Th-The truth...!?

剛博士
「そうだ。
地球の戦力では、強大なボアザン帝国に
打ち勝つことは出来ない」
Dr. Go: That’s right. The Earth forces will never be able to topple the mighty Boazanian Empire.

剛博士
「地球人同士で争っている現状なら、尚更だ。
地球の未来を真剣に案じるのであれば、
我らはボアザンの支配下に入って然るべきだ」
Dr. Go: Even more so when humanity is still fighting amongst itself. If you’re truly worried about the Earth, then the best thing for it is to be under the Boazanian’s control.

大次郎
「そげんこっ…!」
Daijiro: You can’t be serious...!

剛博士
「お前達も[ボアザン星]へ行けばわかる。
ズ・ザンバジル皇帝こそが、この宇宙に
平和をもたらすお方なのだ」
Dr. Go: You’ll understand once you go to [Planet Boazan] yourselves. Emperor Zu Zambajil will bring peace to this universe.

浜口博士
「そ、その言葉…剛健太郎の物とは思えんな…!
構わん、撃て!撃つんだ!」
Dr. Hamaguchi: Th-Those words...are not the words of Kentaro Go...! Forget about me, shoot! Shoot him!

日吉
「ええっ!?」
Hiyoshi: Huh!?

浜口博士
「この男は本物の剛健太郎ではない!撃て!」
Dr. Hamaguchi: This man is not the real Kentaro Go! Now shoot!

剛博士
「私が偽物だと言うのなら、その証拠を示せ!」
Dr. Go: If you think I’m a fake, then present your proof!

浜口博士
「先程の言葉がそれだ!
誰よりもボアザン皇帝の非道ぶりを知る男が、
あのようなことを言うはずがない!」
Dr. Hamaguchi: The words you spoke just now are the proof! Someone who knows full well the atrocities the Boazanian Emperor has committed would never say such a thing!

健一
「だ、だけど、
父さんが精神操作を受けている可能性も!」
Kenichi: He-He might just be brain washed instead!

浜口博士
「そうだとしたら、今頃ビッグファルコンや
ボルテスVは機能停止に陥っている!
この男は我らの秘密情報を持っておらんのだ!」
Dr. Hamaguchi: If he were, then both the Big Falcon and Voltes V would have been shut down by now! This man has no knowledge of our classified information!

剛博士
「健一、私は本物の剛健太郎だ!お前の父親だ!
それでも撃つのか!?」
Dr. Go: Kenichi, I am the real Kentaro Go! I am your father! Will you really shoot me!?

「う、ううっ…!」
Kenichi: A-Ahh...!

(Juzo shoots Kentaro.)

Dr. Go: !!

「…案の定やったな」
Juzo: ...I figured this’d happen.

Hyoma: Juzo!?

「ほら、弾が撃ち込まれたとこを見てみい。
人間やない、ロボットや」
Juzo: Come on, look at where the bullets hit. This ain’t no human, this here’s a robot.

Megumi: But, we already did a physical on Dr. Go’s body before...!

「地球側の検査機に引っ掛からない
カムフラージュが施されていたんですね…!」
Kosuke: It must have been camouflaged in such a way that Earth-based devices wouldn’t have been able to notice...!

浜口博士
「き、気を付けろ…。
おそらくボアザンは…この期に乗じて…」
Dr. Hamaguchi: R-Remain vigilant... The Boazanians...will likely take advantage of this...

(Dr. Hamaguchi collapses.)

「爺さん、しっかりしろ!」
Ippei: Hang in there, old timer!

「急いで医務室へ連れて行かないと!」
Megumi: We need to take him to the infirmary immediately!

(Scene changes to a map screen of the Big Falcon Base. Zuhl is on the map in a Skullrook, surrounded by several other Boazanian mechs. Voltes V and Combattler V appear.)

(ええい、ボルテス共が出ておるではないか!
作戦が上手くいっておれば、剛健太郎のロボットが
彼奴らを動けんようにしておったはずなのに…!)
Zuhl: (Agh, Voltes V and the other one have come out! If it had gone according to plan, the Kentaro Go robot should have rendered Voltes inoperable...!)

ズール
(ここで何としても討ち取らねば、
ハイネルどころか皇帝陛下への弁明も出来ん…!)
Zuhl: (If I don’t defeat it here, I won’t be able to offer any excuses for Heinel, let alone to His Majesty...!)

「あいつらが本命か!」
Ippei: That’s their main force!

「偽物の父さんを送り込み、
俺達が混乱しているところを
突いてくるとは、卑怯だぞ!」
Kenichi: Sending a fake version of our dad to confuse us, and then attacking! Cowardly doesn’t begin to describe it!

そう思ってたのに!」

突出したら、ビッグファルコンの守りが

Megumi: I know how you feel, but you need to calm down! If we rush out there, Big Falcon’s defenses will be too thin!

踏みにじった奴らを放っておけるか!」

Megumi: Just who is he...!?

「ここからは私がビッグファルコンの指揮を執る!

Dr. Sakonji: I will be taking command of the Big Falcon from here on! You are to link up with Londo Bell and concentrate on intercepting the enemy!

(The player’s team and the Ra Cailum appears.)

Bright: All units, commence the attack!

Ippei: Now it’s time we turn the tables on them!

Hyoma: You aren’t the only one fighting here, Kenichi. Let’s work together and take these Boazanians down!

Hyoma: That son of a bitch is trying to run away this late in the game!? Yeah, I don’t think so!!

(Hyoma attacks Zuhl.)

きっちり片を付けてやれ!」

Juzo: I mean, all they really did was change the way they slash.

Hyoma: Like I said; not the time for wise cracks.

「…豹馬、めぐみ、さっきは悪かった。
俺は冷静さを欠いて、周りが見えなくなっていた」
Kenichi: ...Hyoma, Megumi, I’m sorry for earlier. I lost my cool and lost track of everything around me.

Hyoma: It’s cool. I’m pretty quick to anger myself.

「あら、自覚しているのね」
Megumi: Oh, so you already knew.

Dr. Sakonji: As Dr. Hamaguchi will be hospitalized for some time, I will be taking command of the Big Falcon in his place.

「ボルテスチームとバトルチームは
機体の整備が終わり次第、ラー・カイラムへ行け」
Dr. Sakonji: Voltes Team, Combattler Team, you’re to head over to the Ra Cailum as soon as maintenance is completed on your machines.

「爺さん抜きでボルテスの整備が出来るのかよ?」
Ippei: But how is Voltes supposed to get any repairs without the old man around?

「私は浜口博士の教え子だ。
それに、ボルテスの事は熟知している。
心配は無用だ」
