- My rules are pretty simple. I'm not gonna make a long list, and it's not gonna be a harsh one. It's just meant to cover the basics of my RPing preferences. Everyone has their time saved this way. :)
-
PM-friendly. IC/OCC approaches are both welcome and appreciated. On the former, I do reserve the right to not RP with you. Maybe you throw a post, but that doesn't mean I like it or can - or want - to respond. So do so at your own risk if that's what ya wanna do.

-
I'm a full-time college student, so my schedule is a little hectic. I take a while because I often do homework while RPing. It's an addictive hobby, what can I say? But I have responsibilities, and a life, outside of RPC. Respect that, and I'll do the same for you!

-
Grammar competence is welcome. I'm not a mirror-poster, I'm more of an "I'll write however much I feel like writing" kind of poster. Sorry if that's troublesome for you.

-
Plot-ideas, character ties, conflict! All are welcome. I want to grow Sonya as an individual, and develop her character. That being said, I am not her, even if her interests are designed by me. We have two different personalities.

-
I prefer long-term RP where relationships are plantered and nurtured. This has priority over one-shot smut with her. She's just not that into the idea of random sex, and neither am I!

-
IC is not OOC. Don't mistake that. It's important enough to me that I put this in here twice. I just don't want anyone getting confused. Friendship is fine, friendshpi is great - but IRL I'm taken, and romantic advances just won't be a thing.

-
And finally, the picture of Sophia is not mine. Also, the code is not mine. If either were to be requested their removal, I shall do so immediately!!

-
Semblance: "Bleeding Heart"

- Sonya's semblance is... a little scary, if one were to think about it. Known affectionately by her peers as the 'Queen of Hearts,' the two parallel in that one should always be careful lying to them. Lewis Carroll's version would behead you, the real version could slowly but surely induce a heart-attack. That's right, you're not mistaken; the ability of the youngest Lockhardt all hinges around that vital organ that palpitates peacefully in a person's chest. The gist is quite simple: lie to her, and risk dying. Of course, the caveat is obvious in that this isn't a 24/7, 365.25 condition. This has to be consciously invoked, and one must lie to her a great extent.
- She may often lead a person down a pathway of questions - to say she is a chatty, but competent, battler, would be an accurate sumation of who she is. Small, white lies lead to heart irregularities. Skipped beats, sudden speeding up, sweating, rushing blood... This wouldn't kill you at all! Not even close. Things could go on this way for ages before they were to experience 'Bleeding Heart's' wrath. It takes major lies for the full effect of 'Bleeding Heart' to kick in. And really, if one hasn't caught on by that point? Then they're a fool. Sonya is mindful of this ability. She understands it carries a lot of weight, and that puts pressure on her; she's fine with that, though. Often, a battle doesn't necessitate the usage of this, anyway. But since her goal is to become involved in a specialist unit, as a primary interrogator... well. Practice makes perfect, doesn't it?

-
Warm Heart? Is That True?

- So you want to know a little bit more about Heart Girl? Of course you do, that's why you clicked the next tab!
- This isn't going to be some sob story or anything, so brace yourself for a substantial lack of tear-jerking moments here. Sophia Amor Lockhardt is the daughter of Martha and Thurston Lockhardt, and the youngest of six children, all of which are separated by no more than a year and a half. They do not actually hail from Vacuo - both her parents are from upper-class families originating in Mistral. Her father is a doctor, and her mother a prominent environmental architect. They moved to Vacuo to provide health-care and desert-friendly, permanent lodging to the vagabonds rife in the area.
- The Lockhardts are very loving, and very hard-working, having built a good relationship between themselves and those who inhabit the rough, industrious terrain. It is their willingness to blindly give and not ask questions about one's name or past that make them the perfect confidants. They often work with criminals, businessmen, poor folk, vagrants, and any other sort of population imaginable. Sonya was exposed to all kinds, and was always made conscious of the plights of others - she was encouraged to keep an open-heart and an open-mind to those that were less fortunate, and extend her sympathy and compassion wherever it was needed.
- Though the family had been on many occasions robbed, attacked, blackmailed, and labeled pariahs, the seemingly endless goodness of both Martha and Thurston wore down even the wariest of hearts. It was what established the esteem so many hold for them. They're quite renouned in their fields, as well. Both travel often around the four kingdoms, doing humanitarian work. The children are left unattened - unintentionally - for long periods of time as a result. But the oldest of them all, Marcus Lockhardt, has always been an adequate surrogate when needed. Eventually, all of the Lockhardt children went into various academies. Four went to Shade, Sonya included, but the third and fifth child wandered off the beaten-track and went to Atlas and Haven, respectively.
- Obviously, Sonya was the last to leave the nest, and she followed in the footsteps of her elders by enrolling in Shade Academy. She is currently a student there, in-training to become a huntress.
