I don't want to say who the party is through a message but I can tell you its a powerful individual. Getting in their good graces would be a smart investment for the future. [01:06] Bell couldn't help but grin when seeing the glint in Ganjin's eyes. This dude... what was he planning?

[01:08] Gajin leaned in close and divulged a part of his schemes to Bell. After all he'd promised once in person. Shaking his head he clarified.

[01:10] Gajin whispers to Bell: Lets make some gold.
[01:16] Things had aligned perfectly for the young Drake. With Maertocks arrival and Bell's roughly coinciding he had the chance to ensure the deal was sealed and the large transaction went smoothly. Walking over to greet the Pirate Captain Gajin flashed him a jagged tooth smile.

"Captain Maertock! I told you that I was a Dragon of my word and I've taken care of the arrangements." With a wave of his hand to the side he gestured to Bell. "Bell if you'd show the Captain his order." While he waited for the Alchemist to flash the goods his attention returned to the pirate captain.

"Now, if you would hand the five thousand to my companion for the downpayment he can trade off the rabbit juice. As for that letter of marque? I'll take it. How does, ten percent annually sound for?" Really, Gajin had brokered a few deals but this was the most profitable and by far the largest.

So long as things went smoothly the youngFlame Herald felt would consider it all a success. The real trick was ensuring that the pirate captain paid the other five thousand, plus interest and didn't try to swindle him. A risky proposition when it came to pirates but in the cut-throat world of commerce, risk was the name of the game.

[01:22] Maertock would glance over the ensemble as he took a long, thoughtful toke from his minty cigar, rivulets of smoke steadily rising from his dry, reddened gills as the seven foot sharkman leaned comfortably shirtless against the frigid stone.

As ever, a cloak of inky, living shadow adorned his frame, flowing with light ambience as eyes appeared to occasionally open and watch the surroundings before shutting in a sudden flicker of the darkness.

"Good Gajin. I received the letter, though it was a bit hard to understand at first with all of Goreli's gray matter soaked into it. I have the five thousand for the down payment, it was a good day."

The captain of the deep company would toss the sack of coin with heft like it was nothing. In truth, it was for their breed. Robbing and killing and adventuring made for a fine payout.

"I'll take the juice when you're ready."

[01:25] With his good friends at his side, he simply smiles and stands silente when they approach Maertock Reave. He wondered why out of all places, they were getting boosters from him, but he did not mind it at all, he was gaining Money!

If anything, he needed to thank Gajin for his help. So, once they had thrown the bag of coins, he Waits for Gajin to confirm the Money first before immediately stepping forward and offering a bag full of Boosters to Maertock.

"40 boosters like promised, once again, I apologize for taking a little too long with this." The Merchant did seem to be quite exhausted with the ammount of stuff that went on today, but he was dutiful to his job.

[01:30] Gajin raised a brow at the news of the Sirenians death. So, Murtock had caught up to the squid and finished them off had he? Well that wasn't to much of a surprise once these sharks smelt blood on the water they didn't seem the kind to relent.

"Then I offer congratulations on a successful hunt. If I'd known there was reason to further celebrate I'd brought a bottle of Dragon's Fire as a gift." Mentally putting a peg in that thought for later the Drakanite casually accepted the Jerky. After all food was food and a little gift between here and there was always welcome.

Remaining quiet he allowed Bell to complete the trade and with it his attention shifted towards Maertock. Looking the great shark over for a moment the dragon flashed another jagged tooth smirk.

"I take it the ten percent annual was acceptable?" He was intent on getting the letter of marque. He didn't know a lot of the pirate codes buthe knew such things bore weight in their minds. Probably why he'd accepted the fiscal burden if the Reave decided to skip out on payment. After a few thousand coin was nothing when riches where around the corner waiting to be claimed.

"Of course I expect if you need something more you'll send me a raven. We'd been discussing theology and home last time we spoke. If you'd like to step inside the tower we can do that over some drinks."

[01:35] Maertock would proceed to literally lift all fourty of them at once, a claw of sifting shadows clasping it before, in a singular and vicious biting motion, the sharkman ate the bundle glass and all, chewing steadily away on it as his rows of serrated teeth did their work on his resilient shark musculature.

"Yes, that seems fair. Ten percent annual is more than reasonable, for now I have achieved the lethality I desire. Soon, when anointed in the echoes of the deep, I will at last see what I have desired to see."

The shadow predator would nod slowly at that with ambient cheer. He would snort with a dark chuckle at the chatter of theology.

"I've my crew to return to, but feel free to visit the ship some time; I am content to discuss the red and dark gods in question for such chatter."

And like that, in a poof of shadows, the roguish captain was gone. But his word was his bond, the deal made, and the coin with certainty to be fulfilled. A wraith shark had been born.

[01:40] The deal had sent smoothly and he'd have more reason to visit the pirate ship sometime. Getting to know more of the Reaves and their crew wasn't a bad thing at all. Stepping forwards he'd take the now vacated spot of the wraith shark. Leaning back against the wall as he looked at Bell, flashing a toothy smile.

"So what do you think Bell, I'm getting pretty good at this sort of thing."

In a way Bell had taught him the basics of commerce even if he didn't know it. So in his crowning achievement or at-least he thought it was crowning achievement. After all who could afford to purchase such a large order in one sitting?

[01:42] With the transaction finished, his attention now turned towards Gajin. "Indeed you are, my good friend."

"So... any plans on telling me what you want to do with that letter? By the way, thanks for helping me make some business, though I'm sure we're both getting our benefits from this."

Raising a fist in front of him, he offers Gajin a fistbump while having a smirk on his face.

Afterwards, he glances at Oulifern. "Everything alright with you? Hope it isn't too cold for you right now."

[01:45] Oulifern was hanging out behind Bell, she would come forward a bit with a sigh of relief. "That was one hot shark..." The bunny mumbles under her breath flustered.

She would then look up towards bell. "Oh yeah its kind of cold out here!"

[01:51] That toothy grin remained settled upon his features. His attention shifting from Bell to Oulifern occasionally. "I'm going to turn it into a fortune if I've my way but failing that? Well a bit of coin for the favor of the Reaves? I think that's just smart business."

His fist met Bell's without hesitation. The drakanite didn't mention that the main motive for all this was just that he found the transaction enjoyable. Perhaps in a different life Gajin would have been one hell of a business man.

His gaze flicked to Oulifern and he couldn't help but bark out a laugh. "Bahaha! You want me to arrange something for you?" Seems he was more than willing to organge dealings in coin and dealings of the heart. Not that surprising to one who know the Fireblooded creed well.

Though his attention flicked back to Bell. "Also, sometime in the future if you could toss a Mana Amnesia my way I'll pay you back. One of my weaker brothers needs some help." He gestured towards the Temple as he said the words. Clearly the Flame Herald was settling into his role within the Temple nicely.
