If it isn't clear I kinda had a thing for websites that let you make things in the browser

This one 'MyGameBuilder' was the first one of the bunch that I found, when I was around 9 from memory. Me and one of my primary school friends used to use this site.

It let you make tile-based games, though it was pretty limited in that pretty much all the logic/behaviours were pre baked. The only stuff that you really had much control over were the sprites and the level layouts. These two projects were the only ones that kind of resembled games from that period.

At some point it was taken down but then many many years later it was re-established with a shifted focus: rather than being a platform where they'd pretty much do all the programming for you, meaning you only get pre-baked behaviour, into a platform more focused on teaching people how to program. I'm not really interested in using the new site but you can import all the stuff from your old account, which is how I have this footage at all, and that's pretty neat for nostalgia reasons. There used to be sound effects too but I guess those got lost in the transition
