If you start feeling wound up like this again in the future you can pop into the site IRC or something and vent there or just talk; it's a much more relaxed environment than the site, and for better or worse we have to moderate the site to keep things at a somewhat calm level.

I can't say I understand, as everyone is different, but I think I can empathize. Several years ago my life wasn't that great and I was constantly stressed and angry. I got into the show and that helped, gave me something to look forward to, between the show itself and fanwork, and kept my mind occupied. Unfortunately towards S03 I fell on hard times, personally, and the whole Trixie episode thing only managed to exacerbate that; I have her as my favourite in part because I can identify with the character archetype, or at least the one I see in her.

Things got better for me, mostly because I had friends (mostly online, but still friends), and I spent more time on my hobbies (drawing, which I don't do much anymore, and derpi, which while stressful and angering at times is still a responsibility I like). I don't know what things could help you, but I hope things improve for you as well.

I can only ask that in the future, for anything related to derpi at least, you try to come to me or the other mods to discuss or clarify things before taking other actions. We don't work on the site to aggravate or put other people down, and just talking things over helps all parties much more often than not.

People get into bad moods, that happens to everyone. And when that mood goes beyond themselves and starts to affect how they treat other people, we temp ban them to not put other people in a bad mood, or worse. It's not something we do to antagonize people, and not something we do lightly or without discussion (if it's over 24h).

As for your IP / ban evasion, we count it as intentional evasion given you were aware of your ban, logged off, waiting for an IP change, then continued posting. The default policy is to double the ban length on evasion. Your initial ban had been to 7 days due to it not being the first time you attacked people of the same issue; I moved it down to 3 days as you'd not done anything I considered "too bad" (death threats, gore spam, etc.), and it was returned to 7 once you evaded.

These are all things you could be discussed and clarified with the mods over IRC, email, or even here or tumblr directly with me.
