- Lifeboat
- Welcome aboard, our small little ship called life
- They told me not to go
- Captain said we’d reach that salty sea bay soon
- But things weren’t smooth sailing, aboard our small pontoon
- The calm cool crystal waters below beckoned me
- They told me to jump, to find what was beyond the sea
- They told me not to go
- But despite my efforts I couldn’t bear the wait
- To travel the ocean and explore this path, what other cause than pure blessed fate?
- So I set out alone aboard a little lifeboat
- With the sun in my gaze all set ablaze, a small tingle in my throat
- They told me not to go
- But that small little lifeboat didn’t get me far
- It’s empty now, no food or drink, not even a jar
- Those wet waving waters are closer than ever now
- liquid begins to flood in from a void, just off the bow
- They told me not to go
- We’re sinking now with not much time left to spare
- Yet I lay back in my little lifeboat, without a single care
- The waters begin to swallow me, with blue all around
- Where will it take me? if only to peace and love abound
