- ---- COLOUR VARIANCE COMMENTS ----
- Richard noted:
- With the results, the 'dot spread' (think scatter graph) of WoC results was 'larger' than with the GW results.
- Tentative Summary: GW more accurate than WoC.
- Andrew Noted:
- GW: People picking colours that we think looks right
- WoC: People picking colours that look entirely different to what they've just picked on GW.
- ---- PROBLEMS WITH WORKING WITH PEOPLE ----
- Paraphrased: "By the time I get to the end of this survey, at the end of the day, I just don't care and want to get this over and done with."
- People were taking an hour, hour and a half to do the test. They were getting really irritated by the end, so they did odd results to just get it over with.
- OBSV/IDEAS: WoC requires more patience. As WoC was at the end of the testing thing, people were lacking in patience by that point.
- STATEMENT: "Had already done GIA and felt there wasn't enough choice of colour, and in her course she had been taught to identify nearly all stones on colour." (Summary: I can't identify a stone and I'm upset.)
- Issue with someone using a different, older screen.
