  350. She could feel the energy within. These stones were soaked with the blood of combats long past.. or, perhaps not so long past. As she came through the door she could hear the sound of fighting.

  352. She paced around the arena, green eyes watching what occurred within.

  354. Xomac. Xoconan's father. Coming here had the potential to be one of those bad ideas. Tactically unsound. But, still. After the two previous times - her previous visit to Atl, seeing him fight in Avalon - she wanted to know more.

  356. Lotlhuitl watched silently as Xomac threw the body of some young man out of the arena.. and then faced down others.

  358. The Nagual with the blue-black hair took a seat, silent as she regarded the scene. Idly stroked a finger against a medallion she wore. Out of all the jewellery she wore (and her willowy form was practically draped in precious metals at this point), it alone seemed to shine from some kind of light of its own. It glittered, like the sun. It was an item of jewellery that Xoconan had once worn, gifted to her. Though, really, probably wasn't very recognisable as such.

  362. At that, she did raise an eyebrow, turning her delicate face to regard both Ajax and Kon. Ajax she knew, but Kon was unfamiliar to her.

  364. She unslung the rifle, looted from Avalon, and pulled back the bolt, as if checking it. Truthfully, she wasn't too.. familiar with the thing. And it showed.

To her credit, the young woman didn't scream, or yelp, or make any sound indicating being startled. She bit it back, the only visible signs of her surprise being her blue-black tail notably bristling and ears perking straight up from their more.. relaxed position atop her head.

He noticed the gaze of one on him, but didn't seem to mind being stared at.

  465. Truthfully, she wasn't entirely certain herself. Xoconan would likely be displeased with her. Deeply displeased with his latest slave. He hadn't forbidden her to visit Atl, but he had made his feelings about his father known to her. But, perhaps that was the point. Perhaps she wanted Xoconan to be displeased, after he had run off and left her with Latvia, without so much as a word.

  469. Oh, but it was worse than that. She was being incredibly petty in response to what was, on Xoconan's behalf, some attempt at mercy. He'd saved her from a demon. Even so, knowing all that, didn't make Lotlhuitl at all stray from the path which had brought her to Atl's blood pits.

  471. The woman rest the stock of the rifle against her shoulder, though still she pointed it at the ground. The thing hummed with energy magic. She didn't.. use energy magic. It was entirely possible her feeding electricity into the thing was damaging it.

The Nagual sat with perfect posture, her chin held high as she regarded Xomac as he reclined against the stairs. Her naturally gloomy expression shifted into somewhat of a smile, wry and distinctly a little bitter. Annoyance was apparently the currency of the day.

  501. "Yes. She stole my favourite toy. A story which you've heard me tell before, Chieftain." Lotl breathed, shifting in her seat. "Worse, before the battle at Avalon. I am uncertain if she even fought for Gehenna, but I am certain that she prevented Kalisha from doing so, when the slave had expressed a desire to serve Gehenna. Something which I was keen to foster. And all of this without so much as challenging me to a duel, or even speaking with me."

  503. The woman blinked slowly, dark eyelashes rising and falling as her green gaze traced over Xomac's form as he reclined. "After the last time wemet, after the assistance you rendered me despite being wronged yourself, I felt I would inform you first of Toka's nature."

  505. Lotlhuitl's hair had fallen in front of her shoulders, and with a delicate hand she brushed her blue-black locks behind her. Revealing shoulders, bare save for the jewellery she wore.

  507. In truth, her explaination hadn't at all explained how Xoconan fit into all this, and the Cruxati runescribe knew this. It was part deliberate omission, part intense awkwardness.

  521. [02:12:28] Lotlhuitl was visibly surprised. Not so much that Xomac didn't give a fuck about her, or her quest to have revenge on Toka and see the woman known for her lack of honour through out the land.

  525. "Is.. is he not your son?" she queried, speaking before her brain had a chance to catch up. Her eyes - feline, and predatory, and a vivid emerald green - visibly widened slightly. Her surprise at Xomac's words were obvious.

  527. Her lips parted, further words from her threatening to die at the tip of her tongue. But she pushed through it. Her gaze did not leave Xomac's form as she stood before him, her fingertips pressing into the wood of her rifle. "Ah, I think my careless words misled you," she said, careful to not imply that Xomac had misunderstood her. "I did not come to Atl for anything other than to make my challenge to her known. And if she refuses? I thought, being as the Atl are reknown for their honour," her tone turned sweet, flattering, "and none more than you, Chieftain, that she might not find Atl so friendly towards her."

  529. In other words, Lotlhuitl was attempting to imply that she was here merely to badmouth Toka to Xomac, not, strictly speaking, to ask him to do anything for her at all.

Xomac speaks without emotion, as if Xoconan had as much importance to him as the first slave he would see on the street tomorrow.

  543. [02:51:44] Lotlhuitl stood at the foot of the stairs, looking up at the man sprawled across them, above her. The Nagual was not exactly adept at hiding her emotions. Her face wore a gloomy, serious look, as was her default, but the slight widening of her eyes certainly did give away that she was more than a little surprised to hear that Xomac had given up on Xoconan. Especially, considering that the teenager was so strong.

  549. "God?" Lotlhuitl breathed, her surprise leading her to speak without thinking. Her tail twitched as she found herself looking Xomac dead in the eyes. "Very well, Chieftain Xomac." She said, aiming to move move the conversation past that question. "I will show you. I will defeat her."

  551. She inclined her head, looking towards the exit, as if perhaps thinking that she shouldn't press her chances. That this meeting had gone reasonably well, that she had achieved her objectives, and she ought to just make a exit before she managed to offend the man everyone said was consumed by the Sin of Pride.

  553. "If it pleases you, I will leave now." Lotl said, starting up the stairs, clearly intending to exit the Blood Pits. With him sprawled out, it was impossible to not draw near to him. The hair at the nape of her neck prickled. Her skin drew goosebumps. There was something about Xomac that set her on edge. A power, just outside the edges of her perception. Her own will, her own energy stirred because of it. Her heart suddenly racing, she felt the glimmer of that energy she had taken in from Dmex pulsating within her. What she would do for that sort of power.

  555. Lotlhuitl walked up the stairs, a sway in her step, she looked down at Xomac once more, silent - regarded him for the last time, today, she thought!

  564. "Good. I will be expecting things. Do not disappoint me." The words sounded mildly threatening or concerning. However soon he rises from the stone steps and turns, beginning to depart himself.

Most of her design seemed to be centered around a mix between a bee and a beetle. Her own vision of what it looked like. It may be wrong, but it’s a good way for her to actually take down notes.

  2064. The tale goes on and most things are drawn and written. However it would be rather hard to understand for most peering into her book as instead of the usual lines of text and the occasional drawings, most of her writing seems to be written in some archaic language of symbols.

  2085. The anger the Nagual displayed was entirely disproportionate to Ilene's crime -- bein' a rude freeloader who was fascinated about bees. But make no mistake, she was furious. Her lips were parted, teeth slightly bared, and her tail had visibly bristled.

  2087. Lotlhuitl looked down her nose at Ilene, a flash of electricity passing across her intense green gaze.

The dryads would have won that day and sent a powerful message through the jungles."

She was extremely curious about such a stance.

Her gaze could’ve meant many things, but it was plastered and obvious that she was confused, afraid and guilty of all this.   2253. A white hand revealed a metal rod, inscribed with pink gems and runic symbols. His black robes ondulated in response, subsequently rotating the weapons with a certain kind of proficiency-- enough training made to wield a staff.

  2255. Surely, fighting for Ilene's book seemed interesting, but the reward of a Valmasian rifle was a better trigger for Caesar, collecting ores and stuff. An unknown reason, but it felt good having special things.

  2259. Considering he had nothing to lose, it was a decent bet. The boy risked his digits, a crimson spark coating the entirety of his body, dancing with rough flashes as it travelled the boy's structure.

And so it was that she didn't bother with the long walk around the side of the arena. No, she just stepped off the edge and with a -flash- of lightning and a -KRAKHAW- of thunder she was standing in the middle of the fighting pit.

Primed thoughts in her mind began to fumble as stories told to her seemed to be contrasting at best. However , how the queen’s nephew found compassion in himself for people like these, she could just not decipher such.

  2311. She remains silent, standing as firm as her will can take. To that point that she herself seems to unconsciously pitter out magic from her cloak. Small bits of sparks begins to stumble downwards from the base of her neck down to the tip of her cloak.   2336. However, the Elsyrean demonstrated an advantage in velocity, disappearing quite easily when it came to being chased, and returning to deal more blows before retracting. A hit-and-run tactic, utilizing the apex of his agility to take control of the battlefield.

  2338. Stiffening his spine, a putrid blast of occultism sent the Nagual to the other side of the arena like a ragdoll, declaring a certain pause to the conflict. Consequently, the boy's voice was made clear.

  2377. Dark power shielded him from the most troublesome abilities, and the momentum coming from piercing strikes of the Elsyrean sometimes got ignored by a powerful mist. The battle intensified, however, the end was as clear as ever!

  2379. He maintained contact to his target's breathing, analyzing every different step her body tried to take, absorbing knowledge, until a weakness was noticed. Exhaustion, and he took advantage of it!

  2381. A red luminescence denounced the white-haired one restructuring himself, perpendicular to the enemy, and a palm reached her clothing, electrifying the entirety of Lotlhuitl! Not enough to paralyze the combatant, but surely to enhance the exhaustion coating that soul.

  2383. Returning to the woman's view, Caesar lifted his hand, preparing for a blow. It travelled the air with immense velocity, until--!!

  2385. A chop. An inoffensive, harmless chop, declaring the winner, in unison to a smile morphing the britannian features on that face.

  2391. [10:58:08] A weapon had been at stake. She transfixed her gaze on the aforementioned rifle. It looked foreign and dangerous, and she liked it not. It was offensive to look at when held in juxtaposition with the rest of their weaponry; it was an outlier, set apart by its ugliness. Beneath her hood, her lips twisted into a frown.

  2395. The wager sounded fair in her mind, but it was up to him to decide. She rolled her staff in her hand as she waited, testing its weight. Her weapon had proved itself over and over again, in real combat with real consequences; she had faith in the simple length of steel that she trusted her life with.

While the two down in the pit were going at it against each other, she herself was battling herself from simply aborting her systems of function. Like how she always tends to.

  2417. The butterflies in her stomach grows as a familiar feeling could be felt creeping up in her throat. Her eyes water as she fights back the urge, clenching her fist, making her grip on the book tighter and tighter. With whatever resolve left in her, she managed to push it back, grasping out a muffled sigh of relief. Just in time for the battle’s conclusion to occur as another sigh of relief leaves her breath.

  2419. She smiles a weak grin at Caesar, mouthing out the word ‘thanks’ to him from the stands as she quickly keeps her book into her pack. She looked at the beaten nagual, worried and concerned. Sure, there was schadenfreudein her mind, yet at the same time a sense of guilt and empathy has partnered it, giving her a very conflicting perception towards her.

  2427. His attacks were sapping her energy. The occult powers hurt. Burnt. But she could still defeat him.

  2429. At least, she thought so, that is right up until the moment his palm brushed against her, channelling hostile red electricity into her willowy form. "Gyaaaaaaaaaa!" Lotlhuitl screamed, back arching, eyes opening. Already drained close to her limit, her own electricity couldn't compete! Her eyes glowed for a second, sparks flying, dazzling her.

  2431. She'd doubled up, a sheen of perspiration covering her soft, tanned skin.

  2439. She moved directly into the path of his hand. Her eyes had widened once more, unable to move out of the way. Her spell fizzled.. she expected him to strike the blow at the side of her neck... she tensed.

  2451. The Nagual got up, knees still weak, and taking a step (unless somebody stopped her) would suddenly crackle and appear right next to the exit! She intended to leave.

Its golden radiance emanated powerfully from her form, as if she had ceased her life as a human and began her journey as an immortal star.   2797. Her feet dangled off the edge of the tower, her hands placed in her lap.. idly stroking her own tail. Her green eyes once more looked out to the jungle, expression filled with a mixture of longing and sadness. Heck, the Nagual's fluffy ears even pointed downwards, visibly drooping.

  2799. Lost in her own thoughts, she hadn't noticed Xoconan approach. Until he greeted her. Her ears perked up, and she blinked, fluttering her eyelashes as she turned her face to him.

  2801. "Xoco.." She said, shifting over. "How went the, ah, whatever it was you were doing?"

  2803. He might have told her, though perhaps he had not. Truthfully, she wasn't sure. Truthfully, the woman was more than a little caught up in her own affairs. Affairs which, Xoconan may not have been too entirely pleased to hear about. And so she sought to keep the conversation on him.

  2819. The end of her tail twitched as she stared at Xoconan. He had her full attention as he spoke. "Peace talks," she repeated, speaking the words almost like she was tasting them. "Huh." She tilted her head slightly, as if mulling over what Xoconan had said. And he hadn't said much, so.. what she was thinking was likely mysterious indeed.

  2823. Not out of anger, or anything like that. No, she just.. didn't. Her expression remained more or less in its gloomy neutral state, eyes large and regarding the young man she owed an honour debt.

  2825. "I..." she breathed, still gazing at Xoconan as she slouched slightly, tapping her fingertips together. Her blue-black hair fell in front of her face, momentarily. But even that could not hide the obvious guilt in her gaze.
