  1. “So Christine is supposed to arrive sometime tonight, but she didn't say when. I was thinking if it wasn't too late, we could all play something online.” Jacinta said, occasionally glancing at the open video feed at the top corner of her laptop screen. A pair of piercing gold eyes, framed by brunette bangs, stared back, their owner letting out a loud yawn.
  2.
  3. “Jaci, honey, stop and think for a second about what you just said to me.” the girl in the skype call said, giving the alraune a bemused smile. Jacinta rose a violet eyebrow, only to close her eyes and sigh a few moments later.
  4.
  5. “Right, 'Late' is kinda subjective for bats.” the alraune replied, as she sipped at her open can of Dr Pepper. “Would you wanna work on dee-three, or should we play something...” Jacinta started to ask, trailing off as she watched the werebat smirk, placing one of her claws on her lips to suppress a laugh. “What, what's funny?” she asked, a perplexed look on the plant girl's face. She soon found her answer, as she suddenly felt something wet aggressively enter and wriggle around in her ear. Jacinta recoiled away from her attacker with a yell, and turned to look at her assailant, her startled look replaced with a wide smile moments later.
  6.
  7. “Hey Jaci, how's my favorite cousin doing?” a lithe, strawberry-blonde girl dressed in jeans and a simple yellow tee asked, grinning wide at the the surprised alraune as she held her arms out.
  8.
  9. “Chrissy!” Jacinta squealed, jumping out of her seat and into her cousin's arms. She wrapped her own arms around the human girl, and they both hugged each other tightly. “I thought you said you were showing up later tonight.” she added, before pulling herself away from her cousin. Christine nodded, still grinning, as she unstrapped the backpack slung over her shoulders, and set it down.
  10.
  11. “I lied, I still wanted to surprise you. Sorry I missed your twenty-first, but I got something for ya!” she said, unzipping the pack and pulling out an object wrapped in a brown paper bag, which she then set on Jacinta's desk with a loud thunk. She then looked over at the alraune's laptop, and smirked. “Thanks for playing along, Pam.”
  12.
  13. “No problem, Chrissy, it's not every day I see Jaci get a wet willy.” the werebat replied with a grin. “I'm gonna head off and let you two catch up, I gotta re-tune my bass anyway. My lil' bro thought it was a good idea to loosen up the strings.” she added with a grimace, before wriggling her claws, waving goodbye. Jacinta turned back around to face the camera, and waved back.
  14.
  15. “Talk to you later, Pam!” Jacinta said simply, as the werebat ended the call. The alraune then turned to look at the gift her cousin had brought, and picked up the wrapped object. She opened up the bag, and reached inside, pulling out a large, clear bottle, that had the words 'Absolut Vodka' on it, printed in bold blue letters. Jacinta looked back at Christine, and let out a laugh. “Oh wow, I forgot I was legal to drink now. So this is vodka, huh?” she asked, tearing the plastic seal off the cap. She then twisted off the cap, and sniffed the clear liquid inside, her eyes widening as she pulled back. “Damn, that's strong, and it kinda smells like a sharpie.” she observed, bringing a hand up to rub her nose.
  16.
  17. “Yep! I brought some orange juice for a mixer, too. So you haven't had a drop of any alcohol?” Christine asked, pulling out a bottle of orange juice from her back pack, before placing it inside Jacinta's mini-fridge. The alraune shook her head.
  18.
  19. “Dad didn't want me drinking underage, so I never really thought about it.” she answered, twisting the cap back onto the bottle. Chrstine smirked, and soon began giggling.
  20.
  21. “Oh good, this is just too perfect!” she exclaimed, still giggling. The alraune gave her a puzzled look. “Orange juice and vodka mixed together is a screwdriver. So, you're losing your alcohol cherry by getting screwed!” Christine explained. Jacinta rolled her eyes and laughed.
  22.
  23. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  24.
  25. Evening soon came, the girls were sitting in Jacinta's room after enjoying a home-cooked meal. Christine had moved all of her things into an open corner of the alraune's room, and had traded out her normal attire for a dark green swimsuit. She stood next to her cousin's large flower bed, staring at it.
  26.
  27. “So, I'm good here, right? I won't have to worry about waking up tomorrow looking like a phytophilliac's wet dream?” the strawberry-blonde asked, and winced. “No offense.” she added. Jacinta sat nearby on an inflated air-mattress, and let out a laugh, shaking her head.
  28.
  29. “None taken, I like thinking I'm a plant lover's fantasy.” replied Jacinta. “And you're fine, I asked Mom. Turning you into an alraune would have to involve both of us and would take a full day.” she answered, and then looked away. “And uh, if it was us two, it would kinda-sorta-maybe be really incestuous.” she added with a cough. Christine let out an amused snort.
  30.
  31. “Kinky. So I just step in and get comfy?' she asked, as she gently pushed down one of the large petals. The alraune nodded, and sipped at the screwdriver Christine had made her. She hadn't drank too much of it, but she could already sense a tingling feeling starting in her nose.
  32.
  33. “Just push the petals around 'til you find something that works. Don't worry about tearing her either, she's pretty sturdy.” she answered, causing Christine to giggle.
  34.
  35. “Well yeah! I'd hope that a giant flower grown for lounging, sleeping, and fucking in would be built to last.” the human girl replied, as she slowly stepped into the flower. “Oh wow, this stuff is warm!” she exclaimed, swishing her feet around the pooled nectar. She then sat down, and began to push and move the petals around, until she finally felt comfortable, sitting in the flower as if it was a recliner. The nectar pooled up, her thighs, hips, and stomach covered by the yellow liquid. “Is this stuff supposed to be this tingly?” she then asked, before gasping. “Oh...ohhh wow...” she muttered, trailing off, a blush appearing on her face. Jacinta sipped at her drink once again, and giggled.
  36.
  37. “Yeah, it is, and yeah, that's gonna happen.” the alraune answered, smirking. Christine squirmed a bit in her spot, her blush deepening as she laughed. “Want an hour of privacy? It's only going to get worse from here if you don't take care of it now.” she asked, grinning. Christine bit her lip, and nodded.
  38.
  39. “Y-yeah, sorry.” Christine answered, as she continued to squirm. “Could you hand me my phone before you leave? I wanna call my boyfriend. And uh, you don't happen to have any... uh... you know.” the strawberry-blonde asked, as she made a risque gesture. Jacinta giggled again, and stood up, grabbing the human girl's phone from her desk.
  40.
  41. “Sure, and I do, but I'm not sharing, because that'd be kinda gross.” she answered, and walked over to Christine, handing her her phone.
  42.
  43. “Thanks, and y-you're right, I dunno what I was thinking.” Christine said, grabbing her phone. Jacinta just laughed and rolled her eyes.
  44.
  45. “You weren't, nectar will do that, especially since this is your first exposure to it.” the alraune responded, waving at her cousin as she walked towards the door. “I'll be back in an hour. Have fun!~” she finished, giving the human girl a wink before stepping out of her room, shutting the door behind her. She then walked out into the living room, her parents seated on the couch. Her father was on the phone, nodding and speaking briefly on occasion, while her mother was watching a movie. Jacinta sat down next to her mother, and took another sip from her drink.
  46.
  47. “Oh, hello honey. Where's Christine?” Luzia asked, turning to face her daughter. Jacinta smiled and shrugged.
  48.
  49. “She's talking to her boyfriend, so I thought I'd be nice and give her some privacy.” the younger alraune answered simply. The older alraune seemed satisfied with this answer, and turned back to her movie. Jacinta joined her, watching the movie intently. The film had not been on for very long, and the younger girl was glad she wasn't too lost. She wasn't one for artsy period pieces, but she paid attention, as one of her favorite actors was in it, his performance pulling Jacinta's attention in even further. She idly wondered why the man hadn't won an oscar yet, when she heard her father sigh. Luzia paused the movie, and turned to her husband, as he pocketed his phone.
  50.
  51. “That was the Ithaca halfway house. Pastora Rivera pushed up her schedule, she'll be arriving tomorrow afternoon.” Roger said to his wife, before looking over at his daughter. “So don't party too hard tonight, missy. I need both you and Christine up early and ready to help our guest.” he added. Jacinta nodded back, giving her father a small smile.
  52.
  53. “We will, Dad. So what's so special about this Pastora?” she asked. Her parents usually dealt with single guests, though certain individuals or species required further assistance.
  54.
  55. “She's a blood-drinker, so I need you two to make room in the communal fridge for blood packs. The head of the Ithaca house said she was well behaved, so I doubt she'll try to get a fresh meal during her stay here, but I still want you two to be careful around her.” her father explained. Jacinta scoffed, a frown gracing her features.
  56.
  57. “Greeeaat, a vampire, just what we need. I hope she's not a snotty bitch like the last one.” the younger alraune grumbled. Luzia frowned, and raised her hand, smacking her daughter on the back of the head.
  58.
  59. “Language, honey, and Ms. Victoria was a nice lady, she was just very particular about her belongings. It's your own fault for not being careful with her things.” the older alraune said, as her husband cleared his throat.
  60.
  61. “Regardless, I didn't say Pastora was a vampire. I'm not entirely sure what species she is, either, the head of the Ithaca house didn't say. In any case, try to to be a good hostess, dear.” Roger continued. Jacinta let out a huff, and sipped her drink again.
  62.
  63. “As long as she isn't an insufferable bit-” Jacinta replied, getting cut off by another smack on the back of her head from her mother. “Ow! Sorry.” the younger alraune grumbled. Luzia simply sighed, and resumed the movie. Jacinta rolled her eyes, and started to watch the film again. Her drink was soon finished, and the younger alraune began to lose interest in the movie, feeling bored with watching rich socialites partying. “Hey, I'm gonna head back to my room. I'll make sure Chrissy and I are up early tomorrow, Dad.” she said with a yawn, standing up.
  64.
  65. “Alright honey, sleep well.” Luzia said, smiling at her daughter.
  66.
  67. “Try to be up by seven, dear.” Roger added. Jacinta nodded, and left the living room, walking down the hall to her bedroom. She knocked on the door, and opened it slightly.
  68.
  69. “Hey, are you decent in there?” she asked quietly, opening the door wider when she heard a mumbled 'yes' from her cousin. She stepped into her room, and grinned at the human girl, who was laying limp in the giant flower, a content smile on her face. Christine muttered something, and Jacinta rose an eyebrow. “What was that, Chrissy? I didn't hear you.”
  70.
  71. “...I want one.” the strawberry-blonde said, lazily patting one of the large petals. The alraune laughed, and sat down on her desk chair. “Just come home with me and help me grow one, we can smuggle you back in my trunk.” she added jokingly, looking over at Jacinta with half-lidded eyes. Jacinta smiled, and shook her head.
  72.
  73. “Even if we managed that, the flower wouldn't last. It needs me just as much as I need it.” she explained, crossing her legs. Christine let out a loud sigh, and stretched.
  74.
  75. “Then either you let me know when another alraune happens to stay here, or we finish that bottle now and you change me over night.” the human girl stated, trying, and failing, to hide her laughter. Jacinta played along, letting out an exaggerated gasp, covering her mouth with her hand.
  76.
  77. “Christine! We couldn't do such a thing to the Kretschmer name! What would our fathers think?” the alraune responded in a dramatic fashion, holding an appalled look on her face. The strawberry-blonde finally cracked, and began laughing out loud, as Jacinta dropped the act and giggled along with her. When their laughter finally died down, the alraune stood up, and grabbed a folded towel that rested on the air mattress, bringing it over to her cousin. “As fun as this is, we can't stay up too much longer.” she said, holding the towel out.
  78.
  79. “Huh? How come?” Christine asked, her legs shaking lightly as she stood up out of the flower. She grabbed the towel from her cousin, and quickly wrapped it around her form, before stepping out of the flower.
  80.
  81. “I guess one of the guests changed their plans, and is showing up tomorrow afternoon. Dad wants us up early.” Jacinta explained, and walked back over to her desk, sitting back down in her chair.
  82.
  83. “Wait, one guest? What, is she a mermaid and we need to fill the pool up?” Christine asked with a laugh.
  84.
  85. “Nope, she's some kinda blood-drinker, so we need to re-organize the big fridge for her blood packs.” the alraune explained with a sigh, turning her chair around to face her computer. Christine walked over to the door, and slipped on a pair of flip-flops that were placed next to it.
  86.
  87. “Huh. I never met a blood-drinker. How are they?” she asked, standing in the doorway. Jacinta let out a scoff, and rolled her eyes.
  88.
  89. “I dunno, I've only met two, both vampires, and they were stuck-up bitches. Hopefully this one will be nice.” Jacinta answered with a grimace. The strawberry-blonde shrugged.
  90.
  91. “I guess we'll find out.” Christine said simply, as she stepped out of the room. “I'm gonna take a shower, I'll be back.” she added, and shut the door. Jacinta sighed again, and looked through her Skype contact list, clicking on a certain username. With the chat window open, the alraune began to type up a message.
  92.
  93. BrazilianBombshell92: Hey Pam, I don't think we'll get a chance to play anything tonight, Dad want's me and Chrissy up early tomorrow :(
  94.
  95. While she waited for a response from her werebat friend, Jacinta opened her browser, and pulled up 4chan, looking through the /a/ board until she found a monster girl thread. Her speakers made a blip, and she clicked back to the chat window.
  96.
  97. Wrathchild666: That's okay!My lil bro and I are workin on a cover right now anyway o:

  102.
  103. Jacinta stared at the chat window for a few more moments, before clicking back to the monster girl thread. She scrolled through it, and noticed a few bizzaro /a/ posts. The alraune looked up, lost in thought, before nodding to herself. She opened the reply window, and began typing.

  138.
  139. The alraune let out a laugh, and smirked.
  140.
  141. “Flavor of the month, huh? Sorry buddy, I don't think anyone's gonna take you up on that request.” Jacinta muttered, shaking her head. With a creak, her bedroom door opened, and Christine walked back in, wrapped in a new towel, her hair slightly damp and hanging loose.
  142.
  143. “Now that was refreshing.” the human girl said with a laugh, walking over to the air mattress. She sat down, and rummaged through one of her bags, pulling out a set of green pajamas and panties. “So what time are we wakin' up tomorrow, Jaci?” she asked, as she casually slipped on her underwear, the towel still wrapped around her and keeping her modesty.
  144.
  145. “Dad said seven, so...” the alraune answered, checking the clock on her computer. “It's almost eleven. We should probably get to bed.” she finished with a sigh. Christine tossed her towel aside, facing away from her cousin as she put on her pajamas.
  146.
  147. “Fine by me, I already got a few alarms set on my phone anyway.” she replied, grabbing the device off the air mattress where it had been tossed earlier. The human girl tapped on the screen a few times, and set it back down, before laying back on the inflatable bed. She rolled on her side, facing towards the wall, and yawned. “Night Jaci, don't stay up too late.” she said simply.
  148.
  149. “Good night, Chrissy, and don't worry, I won't.” Jacinta replied, smiling. She hoped tomorrow would be an easy day, and that this Pastora wasn't like the other blood-drinkers she had met.
  150.
  151. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  152.
  153. Jacinta and Christine stood on the front patio, watching as the former's father walked out into the driveway, towards a white, windowless van that was slowly pulling up the dirt path. The strawberry-blonde let out a yawn.
  154.
  155. “So, whaddya think she's gonna be?” Christine asked, turning to her cousin. Jacinta shrugged, and sipped at the half-empty can of Dr Pepper she held.
  156.
  157. “Dunno. She could be a Dhampir, or some really morbid snake or spider.” the alraune replied. She silently hoped that Pastora would be a Dhampir, as their reputation painted them being much more friendly. The van pulled up next to Jacinta's father, and he began talking to the driver. After a few moments he turned towards the girls, and gestured for them to head over.
  158.
  159. “Let's not waste anymore time.” Christine muttered out. Jacinta took another sip of her soda, and set the can down, the two girls leaving the patio in unison. As they got closer, the rear-passenger door to the van slid open, and a somewhat short, tanned girl hopped out; who wore a simple earth-toned dress, sandals, and dark sunglasses. Long, jet-black hair rested around a pair of canine-like ears and a pair of short brown horns, sprouting from the top of her head. “Uhh, Jaci, you ever see a monster like her before?” the strawberry-blonde asked, glancing over at her alraune cousin. Jacinta shook her head, and as they got closer, the short tanned girl began to wave.
  160.
  161. “Hola chicas!” she greeted, her voice heavily accented, and held her hand out. Christine shook her hand first, followed by the alraune. “I am Pastora Rivera, but you must already know this, si?” she then asked.
  162.
  163. “Mhm! Welcome to the Kretschmer House, I'm Chrissy...” the human girl answered, and gestured towards her cousin. “And this is Jacinta. We hope you enjoy your stay here!” she finished, smiling wide. The alraune gave a small wave, a faint smile appearing across her face. Jacinta wasn't very good with meeting new people, but for most of the guests that visited their home, she had always managed to warm up to, and eventually, befriend them.
  164.
  165. “Gracias, bonito comida!” Pastora exclaimed, her smile matching Christine's, with the addition of two prominent fangs. Jactina's eyes widened slightly, and she let out a nervous cough. The strange girl didn't seem to notice, and gestured towards the rear of the van. “All my stuff is in the back with my drink packs. Can you bring it in for me, por favor?” she then asked. Christine nodded, and grasped Jacinta's hand, pulling her around to the back of the vehicle, while Pastora moved towards the front.
  166.
  167. “Huh, she seems kinda nice.” the strawberry-blonde stated, as she opened up the rear doors. Styrofoam coolers we're stacked in two columns, with a large, olive drab duffel bag resting against them. Christine immediately grabbed the bag, and hefted it over her shoulder, letting out grumble of dissatisfaction over the weight.
  168.
  169. “Uh, not to alarm you, Chrissy, but I think she called you 'Pretty Food'.” Jacinta said quietly, while taking one of the styrofoam crates in her arms. The alraune lifted the lid off the crate to peer inside. Sure enough, it was filled with blood packs, along with generic blue-gel ice packs. She grimaced slightly at the sight, blood always made her feel somewhat uneasy.
  170.
  171. “I thought ya didn't know Spanish.” Christine stated, raising an eyebrow. She readjusted the duffel bag hanging off her shoulder, and grabbed another one of the styrofoam crates. The two began to walk back towards the house, the alraune glancing back occasionally at Pastora. The strange girl in question was busy talking to her father and the van driver.
  172.
  173. “I don't, but I know a bit of Portuguese from Mom, and they share enough words for me to catch things now and then.” Jacinta answered with a shrug. She took a few quick steps forward, and opened the front door to the house, holding for her cousin. Christine slowly maneuvered her way through the door frame, and the alraune followed closely behind.
  174.
  175. “Thanks. And hey, she coulda just been jokin' around, ya know.” the strawberry-blonde said. Jacinta let out a sigh, and looked down at the crate.
  176.
  177. “I really hope so.”
