The dark-haired girl says: Ice doesn't stand up to the power of the Akimichi clan, sadly.
Shigenobu says: I still have some business with them. In the meantime, I suppose it wouldn't hurt to make your acquaintance since we may be working together in the future.

The dark-haired girl asks: What clan are you from?

Shigenobu says: I am from no clan. I'm a migrant.

The neatly-dressed teen holstered his kunai and took a step south to make a gesture for Shigenobu to the west, "Those Uchiha you seek are further by the mine entrance," He said with a lipped smile and nod.
Shigenobu asks: Really. . .was that all of them?
Shigenobu says: They're rather scarce, then.
Shigenobu says: I'd only gotten the chance to talk with their leader when I ventured to the Northerners' region though.
The neatly-dressed teen says: If I am going to be honest, I cannot differentiate them as Uchiha clansmen individually. But they are there I'm sure.
Shigenobu sets a hand to his chin thoughtfully, "I can't say if that'll put a damper on things for sure though."

The dark-haired girl vaults off the rock and weaves three quick seals mid-air, leaning forwards to fire a water needle abruptly at the mercenary. It rockets forth, poised to burst in his face with a loud crack and a shower of water droplets like rain.

Shigenobu 's head snaps to the right as the jet of water swiftly darts across him. It zips past him, and in its wake, leaves a thin, shallow cut on his upper cheek. A thin shade of red becomes apparent. He sets a hand on the helve of his sheathed blade, then waits for her approach.

The neatly-dressed teen glanced at his cousin for answers to unspoken questions but the initiation of combat cleared them all. Ozun paced forward not at full stride, but to get in range for his upcoming attack. He took the air and soared while his hands clasped to emit a blunt wave of futon chakra that aimed to cast the gentleman towards the water.

The dark-haired girl draws and hurls three kunai and they shoot forwards with a shrill whistle. She claps her hands together and the kunai are propelled forwards at a greater velocity by a sudden gust of wind, becoming a blur poised to puncture the man's chest.

Shigenobu raises his arms and preparse himself to dodge for the initial bombardment of kunai. The knives sink into his arms, and another bombardment of wind strikes him from the neatly-dressed teen, sending him flung to the water. His head is dazed, and he shakes it a few times. Shigenobu is winded, dazed and bleeding. He's clearly outmatched, so once and if he is able to catch himself, he bounds for the east, then leaps off with a chakra-enhanced gallop; a suimen jump if you will. The man mumbles to himself in annoyance. Some how, he blamed himself for this happening.

Shigenobu kept running regardless. As it stood, he had no reason to believe the dark-haired girl. The wave of water crashing down is addling, but he manages to slip himself out of the ever downing cascade like a cat, "Like I'd believe that from a girl such as yourself," he remarks in the midst of his gait. He continues to bound eastward. Even in the midst of his life being threatened, he seems to be retaining a rather calm composure given the stoicness of his countenance. They wouldn't be able to tell that though.

The dark-haired girl bolts forwards at her maximum possible speed, eyes upon her target and lips pursed into a cold line.
The neatly-dressed teen pouched his senbon and resorted for long-range suiton ninjutsu. After three handsigns are made on the move, Ozun shoots a slender needle of suiton aimed towards Shigenobu's lower body as an effort to demobilize him.

Ozun wouldn't need to be worrying about running anymore. Because in the instance that he was making those hand seals, the mercenary cants his body in a fine twist, then makes a light step to the left. It allows the needle to miss his leg, but not by much. It'll cut into him, but not deep enough for him to achieve what he wanted. He brandishes his katana in that instance and meets the both of them head-on.

His eyes are like that of the finest hawks. Certain, even in the uncertain.

The dark-haired girl - Agility: D+ - At this level of agility, one is at the very least capable of more fluidity and swiftness in their motions and bodily control, and now they possess a focus that allows them to narrowly avoid most attacks that come their way, but their movements are still sloppy in certain areas, and there is much that can be improved.

Shigenobu simply didn't have the speed nor agility to deal with that fast a cut. Her endeavors are not without fruit, and just as she had expertly weaved over him, so did she cut into his leg. Shigenobu tries to evade, but yet again, it is only narrow, and this time, it hit a bit more closer to him. His leg buckles for a second. He peers over to Ozun for a split-second, but does nothing more than that. He looks over to the girl again, sword raised.

He is panting and bleeding out, and yet, he still stands. It seems he wasn't done just yet.

The neatly-dressed teen emerged from the water and his flustered expression spoke volumes for his next action. He ascent into the air and slammed his palms together to rain a violent wind blast down on Shigenobu and Ran alike.

Shigenobu is struck across the head with the wind orb this time around, having tried to evade it to no avail. It's enough of a rattling, debilitating blow to make blood spew, and his eyes go wide. He buckles yet again from the attack, and now he cranes down for a moment or two longer. The man stands up, peering at the girl ahead of him. His blade drags across the surface of the water now, his eyes weary and his body caked in red. He moves like a slow, armored sentinel her way.

The dark-haired girl leaps away, bouncing across the surface of the lake with several small jumps backwards like a stone skipping across water, then hurls three kunai knives at his torso at the apex of her final jump, each poised to stick themselves into his body.

Shigenobu is blasted up with kunai and then hit with another set to the front. They jostle his body forward, and then back. You can hear the sound of flesh being pierced, and the man finally coughs up some blood. He collapses on his back in the water. Downed.
The dark-haired girl says: Well, that was strangely much easier than I anticipated.
The neatly-dressed teen lifted a hand to his cousin and apologized, "For that repusshou. Sorry," Ozun went to disarm the ninja and toss his katana elsewhere onto the shore before trying to drag him back to the ground.

The dark-haired girl draws her katana with a quiet hiss and walks over towards him, the blade glimmering in the light. Behind her the waterfall roars so loudly she has to yell to be heard, "Dogtags!"

Shigenobu winces and coughs again. He's losing consciousness, but he does seem to be trying to grip for a wound to try and stiffle his bleeding. He is disarmed and reeled back into shore like a fish.

Shigenobu is searched about, and the neatly-dressed teen uncovers. . .

. . .Sake, sake and more sake. They're kept in a rucksack he has tucked in the flap of his robe near the obi.
The neatly-dressed teen says: A damned alcoholic and he's no older than we are. A shame.
The neatly-dressed teen narrowed his eyes and came across the sack, "But lookie here," Ozun poked and pulled it for a quick search.
The dark-haired girl says: I guess this isn't the one we're looking for, huh.
The rucksack has some nameless things in them. A business scroll with his signature and the invitation of hiring him to those wanting a blade in their ranks. Aside from that, there was also a small pocket watch, and opening it would reveal a picture of a woman. She looks the serious kind; aged, with hair similar to all of theirs. Her eyes are a strange gold, like that of a panther's.  There also seems to be some salted meat, water and a tent kit loaded in there.

The neatly-dressed teen kept the tent kit for himself but left the other belongings in the compartment. Before he placed the pocketwatch back, he was intrigued by the color of the woman's eyes but shrugged it off. He set the rucksack aside.

The dark-haired girl lifts her sword up above her head with both hands, then swings it abruptly down like a lumberjack's axe, the razor sharp edge poised to sever the swordsman's head with a loud thunk. If unhindered, she kicks the head a little distance away and lets it tumble down the embankment, the final beats of her victim's heart pumping pulses of dark blood from the neck into a puddle beneath the body.

"I doubt it's Moto," she remarks idly, wiping the edge of the blade off upon his robes, "Most likely just a non-clan mercenary."
