  1. [06:31] The east. Petrakis castle, the safest place he could go to the east without having a problem with wanderers that would soon enough pop around with hostile intent - And yet, it was far from being the best place that he could get. Not from inside the large, ivory towers, just outside, facing the bay.
  2.
  3. Where the sea met the ground, and the other side was overshadowed by the cliffs and huge mountains that rose far past whatever limits the continent had. 'Where would be the best place to watch the sun rise?', Andrew wondered so commonly to himself, even reaching out to ask this same question to others!
  4.
  5. Alexander. Cassy. Even the ones he did not truly know or even consider as friendships in the making, such as Kabal or Dianna. They all replied the same, to find the tallest place, and it was with that intent that he got here.
  6.
  7. A glance was given to the walls at his back, and a memory to the talk he had earlier.
  8. (Andrew Lancaster)
  9. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  10.
  11. [06:39] The talk with Elijah. Someone that went to the very point that Andrew aimed towards, and a very important topic at this moment. He could have his freedom, but he was duty-bound. Anyone else in his shoes might have forsaken their loyalty for just a few moments of consequence-free climbing.
  12.
  13. To just climb on the outer parts of the wall, without being noticed, was an easy task. His inside yelled at him to climb up that last obstacle and aim for that, but it was never too easy to do. One hand even went as far as grabbing against one brick, preparing to hoist himself upwards with gusto!
  14.
  15. Only to stand right there, for a few more moments. In contemplative silence, waiting until the universe gave him an answer... Until the sun rose. The first rays went over the mountains, turning the sky into a slowly-brightening ochre, the stars that he aimed to connect vanishing--
  16.
  17. GOING OUT OF SIGHT! He had to do it, before they were gone! One foot went against the wall, and in desperation, Andrew started climbing upwards, until he was halfway through, feet planted inside the stone and he stopped, gazing upwards.
  18.
  19. The star of Phos shone brightly, even if it was only he that could see it as such.
  20. (Andrew Lancaster)
  21. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  22.
  23. [06:45] He could feel it within himself. The brightening power, the prayers finally making their effect at this significant moment. The two objects of his worship, mingling so peacefully. The sun, slowly rising in the sky, and the constellation of Leonaus resisting against the overwhelming brightness.
  24.
  25. Shining in their own different frequencies, yet intertwining perfectly. Such was the awe that struck the black-haired teen that he forgot to keep his grip tight against the bricks, allowing to simply fall down to the ground!
  26.
  27. The impact was a loud thud, luckily not heard by anyone. Days upon days of thought, prayer and efforts that did little immediate result, and yet there he was. Stargazing as the sun rose in the horizon, bringing new life into the world.
  28.
  29. Bringing brightness to all places dark. Just like he wanted to be. A hero, a standard, someone that could shine even in the darkness and purge it from every place.
  30.
  31. Not the best start for a hero - Many could have their stories leading to moments of clarification in front of crowds where they deliver inspiring speeches, or when turning the tides of battle, and the Cadet had his epiphany after a very rough fall to the ground, while he lied down defenseless.
  32.
  33. Andrew knew that, deep down, there was something different now. That finally, his prayers to the stars were answered. That from now on, he could focus on being the sun to others.
