Some students, such as class reps, should be able to use the system.

Each course has a mailing list.

No formal event list so far, no repository.

Populating mailing lists is currently very time consuming.

Users can request to be added to a mailing list, ask Gail.

Should allow some customization of reminders; time, frequency etc.

Possibly users could register for specific events, by looking at an upcoming event list.

Maybe students should be able to remind eachother of deadlines; for TP3, PSD3 etc.

Keep system to staff only at first, expand to students later if there is time.
No student log in at this point.

Archive past events.

Easy to use GUI please, users may not be computer experts.
No excessive security required.

System errors should be reported by email (to Gail?)

Option to unsubscribe from mailing list, but some unsubscribable, such as exams.

Service should be accessable from anywhere.
