- tl;dr:
- To avoid spoilers, chat is on a whitelist system. Unless you're a sub or a mod, I won't see your messages. You can still chat among each other. Non subs and mods can have their messages be seen by me by asking a mod to whitelist them. A mod can type "!add <name> voice" to do so.

- Hi I am streaming a first playthrough of a game. I want to enjoy this experience and Twitch chat has a lot of people in it that I don't like and that ruin my experience.
- ======================unimportant bit start. Skip if lazy===========================
- I have a few options:
- -Don't stream it and play by myself
- -Do stream it but don't read chat
- -Do stream it and put chat in sub only mode to ensure only cool people chat
- I am not satisfied with these options, because
- -not streaming is boring for viewers
- -not reading chat is boring for me (somewhat)
- -sub only chat is just lame
- So I created a second option. I wrote some shitty code that allows for mod hierarchy/whitelist thing in my chat blah blah blah. and then Tduva showed me I dont need code.
- ===========================unimportant bit end.==================================
- The important bit: My chat will be available and free to chat in for everyone (unless you're banned). However, if you're not a mod (or a sub, because thank you I guess.), your messages won't show up for me.
- Now don't rage just yet, because I know there's a lot of cool people out there who don't have mod rights and who don't want to/can't subscribe. I don't want to exclude you. So I gave my mods the ability to whitelist people. Woah, cool! What's even cooler: Chatty has a feature that lets me do that!
- If you're a cool dude who is not going to spoil the game for me and is not going to tell me how to do certain things, you can ask a mod to give you the ability to have your messages visible to ME, the broadcaster! You can do this by simply asking :O A mod can then give you this ability (instructions below) by adding you to Chatty's address book
- Rules:
- -No spoilers
- -No telling me what to do
- -No breaking my default twitch rules (see bio).
- -Please no 'this level sucks' or other kind of (anti-)hype building messages before I actually finished a level. They will give me certain expectations about missions and I hate that.
- Break these rules and you will be unaddressbooked :D
- This way, we can still have cool discussions. Or my chat will go to shit, whatever, I'll fix it afterwards if that happens.

- Instructions for mods:
- * If your name appears with a black sword on my stream (not in my chat) when you say something, that means you are a supermod & editor in my channel, and you can mod/unmod people. Not sure why I'm writing this, because it's not really relevant to the whole whitelist thing. (!mod , !unmod)
- These people are: tduva, irishblondie, misterpost, banhammer_bot, dubgame, colfra, gocnak
- * If your name appears with a white (default color) sword, that means you are a normal mod. Impressive isn't it?
- These people are: adam_ka, alidigitali, amvx, chickenb0h, colfra, da00, datesl54, dfocus89, dispersor, dubgame, elgu_, ethanh59, fatzke, flaming_pants, gaeldemarseille, gang___, gocnak, idanzel, irishblondie, joedrinksbeer, jolzi, joshimuz, jukspa, justshanz, kyledoesit, kz_frew, lighnat0r, lotsofs, maggara1, menno888, mhmd_fvc, misterpost, oekeokikinl, powerslavealfons, rapid_influx, runnerhaworth, sgt_kabukiman, stauken, supermatmo, superuserraven, tdawg91, tduva, tduvatest, tomsk45, ultimaomega07, unrealcanine, yalter, zachsk, znernicus
- Your available commands are (with exclamation marks, not slashes)
- !add <name> voice
- !remove <name> voice
- If you see someone in chat who you know is a regular or is a cool person, you can type "!add <their name> voice" and their messages will be shown to me for infinitely many hours. Alternatively, I may tell you to do this. If someone asks you for voice but you're not sure, ask me first or wait to see if they're cool.
- If they turn out to not be cool, you can do "!remove <their name> voice" to unvoice them, and/or do "/timeout <their name>" to ban them. Before you ask, no you can't unvoice other mods. sorry m8!
- Of course, you are also still expected to ban stupid people, despite the fact that I wont actually see them :D
- * If your name appears with no sword, that means you have been granted ability to have your messages read by me (the broadcaster).
- These people are: everyone else
- * If your name doesn't appear, then I can't see you and you need to ask a mod for a whitelist.
- ------------------------SEPARATOR LINE-----------------------------
- With this, I hope to achieve the following:
- -I wont actually see annoying people who will be spoiling the game for me or be annoying fucks, so I can have a happy time!
- -I will still be able to see messages by cool people
- But I will probably achieve the following:
- -My chat will go to shit
- -My pc will crash
