Personality: Has a stern demeanour most of the time. He rarely raises his voice, and gives the impression of being calmly confident. Prefers not to participate in idle chitchat unless it involves a subject he is interested in, for example classical music, in particular opera. He also dabbles in robots and human biology, although this is a pastime that he prefers to study in his own private time. At the school he teaches drama, and is very critical in his tutoring. He does not accept any less than he knows a student is capable of.

Background: While attending a conference in the EU he met Hazama, who although already in a married relationship with Ignis Clover fell in love with him and made the decision to run away from his home in Austria to America to elope. While he was with Ignis he also had two children, Carl and Ada Clover, towards whom he is somewhat dismissive and expresses little affection for.

Notes: Married to/in a civil partnership with Hazama. They have a tendency to argue about trivial and often silly things, although never to the point that would cause a serious rift between the two. He sings like an angel in the shower.
