- >Lucy smiled the smallest smile, you couldn't see it unless you knew what to look for
- >It was her turn to read Lizy a bed time story, and she'd been waiting for this all week
- >Lizy was the cutest little thing, and she really liked to cuddle during her nightly stories
- >And Lucy had the perfect one, she smiled, more visible this time, she'd get the cutie to cling to her and maybe she'd get to stay with her until she was comforted to sleep
- >She walked in the door and the little blond's face lit up in a big smile "Hi auntie Lucy, whatcha gonna read to me?"
- >Lucy grinned fully this time as she held a short book in front of her "Its called the Call of the Cthulhu"
- >Lizy tilted her head in confusion "Call of the ka-to-lalu? Whats that?"
- >Lucy felt her chest tighten, she really wanted to just hug the small girl "Its a short story, you'll like it"
- >Everything was going according to plan as Lucy grinned while reading
- >The tiny girl was shivering and looking on the verge of tears as she hid in her covers, and Lucy almost felt bad about it, her own daughter never reacted like this to scary stuff, and it had been years since Lucy got to cuddle with her
- >But there came a snag in her evil plan, as the titular monster made its appearance Lizy fear melted away as she sat up, her full attention on her aunt's words now as her eye's sparkled
- >"Do you think he could beat Godzilla?" Lizy held up her plushie of said King of the Monsters as Lucy stared, this wasn't part of the plan, she'd been derailed
- >Minutes later as she finished the book, Lucy had to follow up with another, more conventional children's story, as her tale of horror had gotten her small niece worked up
- >Lucy deadpanned her way through stories of princesses and knights, before noticing Lizy had tuckered herself out, and was now curled up with her toy
- >"A story with a monster in it was a mistake" Lucy thought to herself in annoyance as she tucked her niece in, now sleeping peacefully
- >"Maybe some psychological horror next time"
