  1. Like Bacon? Like Minecraft? Yearning for an involved quest driven ModPack? Come join us at BaconGaming!

We’ve been hosting Minecraft servers under the BaconGaming banner since January 2015 when we started with 1.6.4 TPPI, and I the owner have personally been hosting Minecraft servers of various shapes and sizes since June 2010. The Co-Owner /u/Hastwell is our dedicated Sysadmin and is always on hand to fix any issues as (or sometimes before) they arise.

As there is only us two to administrate, and our admittedly small core group of dedicated players, we’d like to keep our community as tight knit as possible to form lasting relationships with those who chose to be a part of the BaconGaming Network. This means we use voice chat to get to know one another and play games together outside of Minecraft. With that in mind we are seeking a **maximum** of 5 people located in **North America** (Due to latency/timezone concerns) to join us on our GT New Horizons Server.

  6. Now, what is GT New Horizons? According to the Technic listing which you can read about and download **[here]( http://www.technicpack.net/modpack/mcnewhorizons.677387)** the mod pack is described as, “Gregified modpack via Modtweaker (MODS GET GREGED) Large Modpack with every recipe Gregified”. This roughly translate to, “You will spend the first hour working towards your first furnace”. If the thought of that intimidates you then you’d be better off finding another server.

  8. If you are still interested, great; we just have a few things to disclose before you make an application.

  10. **Basic Rules:**
  11.  
  12. * Thou shall not steal, grief, or be a nuisance. Prism is really, really good at Zooming In and Enhancing stuff, even before anyone notices what you've done!
  13.  
  14. * Thou shall be on Discord whilst on the server. You don't have to be in the same channel as people talking if you want some peace and quiet, but you still need to be online.
  15.  
  16. * Cheating, whether via client mod (ex. X-Ray, wallhacks **not** provided by a mod) or abuse of creative items (in the event you find any lying around in some Nevada Test Site wannabe) is a **definite** no-no! Players found doing this **will** be banned in a horrifically violent manner!

  18. * Thou shall not repeatedly beg for items, ranks, etc. Casually and politely asking for stuff's fine, but spamming chat's a no-no.
  19.  
  20. * Thou shall not give endgame items to new players, or otherwise catapult them to endgame! If you want to co-op together, that's fine. We just want to ensure that players **have** a challenge to play through **and** to be fair to other new players.

  22. * Thou shall respect staff and other players. We brought bacon! That's reason enough to listen to what we have to say!

  44. **Miscellaneous Information:**

  46. * The map was made 12/2/2016.

  48. * No one has progressed beyond the Bronze age, yet.

  50. * We don’t wipe maps, we specialize in surgical world repair. For reference, our custom instance of TPPI2 lasted for 18 months before we shut it down and never once deleted the world.

  52. * We have a Steam Group and Discord Server. The information on how to join will be given out upon accepting the application.

  62. * Why do you want to join us? There's a lot of other servers out there, there has to be a reason you clicked on ours. ;)

  66. * A blood signature saying you have read the rules and will follow them for all of eternity.
