  1. You touch the cube of metal with your left hand, and begin to flow your magical energy into the floating construct. With things as simple as this block of metal, you won't even need to enter into a conceptual world, and you instead simply focus on the concept that you wish to apply into the cube of golden metal. 'Hypaspist'. The concept of a shield bearer for Medea, something that you can be certain will be able to protect the woman from harm when you aren't around to keep her safe. Of course, you don't intend to leave her side very often for long periods, if ever, but... you can never be too safe, and you really don't want Medea to be hurt because you were too confident. While she's immensely powerful already, you can really never be too safe when it comes to things like this. Your enemy has shown herself to be impossibly powerful, with the ease of which she defeated the Goddess Rhongomyniad without even showing effort in doing so, it's clear that Manaka is easily the most powerful opponent you've ever faced.

  3. Thankfully, the concept you apply to the block of metal is a relatively simple one, so it doesn't tax your magical energy a great deal to apply it, thanks to your Dragon Core, your magical energy recovery rate is far higher than it was before, but even if your recovery rate is far faster, it's not like you're going to be back up to your maximum amount of magical energy for at least some time. Your body can now contain such a tremendous amount of magical energy that it can warp reality itself just by having it condensed all within you, so of course it's going to take a little while for it to recover fully. Especially after doing something like applying a transcendent concept to somebody, though you don't regret it at all. Medea deserved the very best that you could give her, and now you're making sure that nobody will be able to hurt her physically, after taking care of the possibility that she'd ever find herself being hurt mentally or physically by somebody.

  5. With that last thought, you finish applying the concept of 'Hypaspist' to the cube of metal, which immediately melts into a puddle on the floor.

  9. Medea looks down at the large golden puddle on the floor in surprise for a few moments, before it suddenly animates itself once more, and takes on the form of a group of three dozen small golden cubes that float around Medea's body, shining and reflecting light as they do. Each of the golden cubes is engraved with delicate carvings of shield wielding heroes blocking powerful attacks with shields. Each golden cube is beautiful enough to look like it would be worth a great fortune in something like an auction house, though things such as wealth are kind of meaningless to you right now.
