   when people look at clémence yoo, they don't expect her to be half the things that she really is. from the outside, she looks sophisticated, and people hold the typical rich girl stereotype over her head – including the one that assumes that she's dumb. while she may not look it, clemmie is actually very smart. it's not something that people think, upon first glance, because she's known for her good looks, even in her hometown in france, and is the spitting image of her mother when she was a child, but people always seem to think that her skull is filled with air. contrary to popular belief, clemmie is much smarter than she looks, and she has the grades to prove it. in all of her life, clemmie has never gotten below a b+ on her report card, and she intends to keep it that way. her grades are actually very important to her, despite the career path that she's choosing to follow. she is academically inclined, especially in the field of science, where she's always scored highly. chemistry, biology and geology are all subjects that have interested her while she was at school, and several of her teachers are disappointed at her decision to pursue a career in the entertainment industry when they know she's capable of so much more. unfortunately, no one else seems to be able to see past her exterior. she's also a very witty person, and is known to come up with quick remarks whenever the situation calls for it (and even sometimes when it doesn't).

   clemmie is also a very confident and shameless person, most of which is seen through her excessive flirting. clemmie is a really flirty person, even despite being an idol. it's how she communicates with other people. she has a million pickup lines floating around her brain, waiting for the right moment to unleash them, and knows exactly how to use them to make people blush or flustered. usually it's all in good fun, and those closest to her know that she doesn't really mean anything by it, and it's just how she is. just because she flirts with someone, doesn't mean that she's seeking a relationship with them. she flirts with her friends on a daily basis, winks at all the classmates upon entering a class room. she's very confident, and never seems to second guess herself, and clearly doesn't have any self esteem issues, or get self conscious. shameless is another adjective you can use to describe her, because along with her confidence comes her ability to embarrass herself without a second thought for her own image. he won't hesitate to throw her pride under the bus just to make one of her friends smile. she doesn't seem to have a brain to action filter, and tends to do whatever embarrassing thing comes to her mind, with little care for the embarrassment that everyone except clemmie ends up suffering from. embarrassment is not an emotion within clemmie's emotional range, and it's obvious from the way that she never dwells on her embarrassing escapades for more than ten minutes, max.

   while her lack of a brain to action filter doesn't really matter in terms of embarrassment, the people around her really wish that she had one, because maybe, just maybe, it would stop her from trying to attempt a lot of dangerous things. clemmie is a very impulsive person, and tends to act without thinking things through, something that often gets her in trouble. she's very reckless, and one day her friends are scared it will get her killed. honestly, she's always got scrapes up and down her arms and legs from attempting silly stunts (like trying to do parkour, which despite clemmie's confident claims, she is actually really bad at).on the other hand, her daring nature always makes her up for trying new things. she's just trying to experience all these different kinds of things while she still can, before she gets old and becomes a cool grandma who can whizz around on an expensive wheelchair with rhinestones on the wheels (because clemmie will be damned if she becomes a scary old lady, she wants to be the cool grandmother when she's a senior citizen). and while being daring can be a good thing, clemmie often has trouble drawing the line, and can sometimes be a bit too reckless. she's often unpredictable in this way, because no one can ever be sure exactly what she might attempt next. added to this is the fact that she's the living example of looks can be deceiving, clemmie quite honestly cannot be trusted on her own. while she might look calm and collected, she's far more reckless than she appears, and should probably be kept under constant supervision.

  clemmie is actually a very hardworking person, despite a lot of people (mostly those back in france) believing that she's never had to work for anything in her life. they assume she lives a life of riches due to her step father's money, but they don't know that more than anything, clemmie wants to make a name for herself. she hates it when people judge her based on her appearance, because her visuals don't depict a rapper, and her aura doesn't reveal her fun nature. she's a very hardworking person, maybe even more than some of her other members. she feels like she's at a disadvantage, and wants to do whatever she can to close the gap. she already has struggles with the korean language, because she's not as familiar with it as some of her group members, since she's so used to growing up around french speaking people, and her vocabulary is nowhere near that of a native. plus, she's the dancing blackhole of the group, and is always the one who takes the longest to learn choreography because her limbs won't move the way she wants them too. even her rapping is somewhat mediocre compared to her other group members. the only thing she's confident in are her visuals, but she wants to be known as a performer, not just a pretty face. so while other people are sleeping, you can bet that clemmie's still awake, trying to master choreography. her hardworking nature has always shone through to her teachers, even as a child, because being as smart as clemmie took work that no one would believe she ever put in.

  competitive is clemmie's middle name. it's very very easy to set off her competitive nature. all it takes is to mention that you're going to beat her at something, or that you're better than her, and out comes the competitiveness that will not go away until clemmie has proved herself to them. clemmie's definitely a sore loser, and doesn't like loosing under any circumstances. if she's doing something, you can bet that she will do whatever it takes to come out on top, even if she has to play diry. she's the type of person who can turn almost anything and everything into a competition, whether it be the first person to finish eating, the first person to get in the car, or the first person to reach the practices room, and be ready to beat anyone who's willing to take her on. in all honesty, her competitive nature makes her a bit difficult to deal with at times, and can sometimes put people off, even though she never means to come off that way. she's also known for her inability to back down from a dare, no matter what it is. it's probably best not to let her play truth or dare, because clemmie will not back down, not matter what. want her to prank call the pizza guy? she's already got him on the line. what her to streak down the street at midnight? clemmie's already out the door. it's borderline ridiculous, but dares never seem to embarrass clemmie, and she won't think twice about doing them (her friends are worried it'll get her arrested one day). clemmie is also a very petty person, and tends to hold grudges for the longest time. she always seems to get pissed off over the smallest things, but never blinks an eye at the big things. it's just one of the many charms of clémence yoo.

– BACKGROUND:
 + clemmie's life has never truly been a normal childhood, like the childhoods of most of her group mates. not to say it was horrible or anything, but it's definitely not the normal picturesque childhoods that most other children have. clemmie was born in strasbourg, france, to a twenty year old couple who were still in college. to be completely fair, it probably wasn't the most convenient time to have a baby, but her mother was adamant on keeping clemmie, and refused to listen when anyone suggested getting an abortion. clemmie's grandparents weren't too pleased about their daughter getting pregnant at a young age, and were even more furious since their daughter had been away from korea, and studying in france at time. they had originally been against her mother travelling to france for college, and her getting pregnant was like the tip of the iceburg. needless to say, they weren't too pleased, and in all her eighteen years of life, clemmie has never met either of her grandparents. her mother and her father had originally tried to make it work between them, for the sake ofo clemmie, but it had eventually been too much for clemmie's father, who'd packed up and left not long after clemmie was born, giving him no chance to bond with clemmie. despite the setbacks, clemmie's mother made it work for the both of them, dropping out of college and buying an apartment in france, before starting up her own fashion business, like she'd always wanted to, which no one at the time knew how famous it would become. when clemmie was ten, her mother started seeing a french man by the name of andrew martin, who'd divorced his own wife, and lived alone with his only daughter, who was a year older than clemmie. clemmie, of course, had quickly fallen in love with the man, after he brought her sweets every time he came over to visit clemmie's mother. to clemmie, andrew ended up being the closest thing she ahd to a father figure, and became more of a father to her than her own father, who clemmie knew absolutely nothing about. after andrew and clemmie's mother married, they all moved into a large house in a nicer part of town, as andrew had quite a bit of money stored away from being a lawyer. when clemmie was fifteen, she was on holiday in seoul with her mother, after they'd saved enough money to travel there, so clemmie could experience her other's culture after living in france her entire life. it was while she was out grocery shopping one day during this trip that she was approached by scout for jyp entertainment. her mother, who was a firm believer of taking every opportunity that life handed you, insisted that clemmie audition, and now, three years later, she's finally debuting with the rest of comet.

 + clemmie was scouted for JYP ENTERTAINMENT when she was on holiday in seoul with her mother. due to her visuals, the company were keen for her to attend and audition, and figuring she had nothing to lose, clemmie decided to give it a go, and took the scout's business card.

– STAGE PERSONA:
 + she literally takes a complete 180° turn when she's on stage, and is actually a lot more charismatic and maybe even sexier than people expect. people already have specific ideas on what they expect from clemmie, and as soon as she steps on stage she's prepared to smash those expectations and blow everyone away. just because she's short doesn't mean that she can't command attention from others and steal the spotlight during her parts. she's also the queen of fan service, because she has a knack for always spotting her fansites and staying still for long enough for them to take pictures. as soon as she stops performing, she turns back in to her usual self, always talking and being friendly with her fans, and doing whatever kind of fan service they ask of her. shy and embarrassment aren't words in her dictionary, so she never gets flustered during one on one fan meets, and is able to easily converse with fans as if they've been long time friends.

 + MIRA – well, they're both rappers, and they're both around the same age, and honestly, clemmie just feels at ease when she's with the other girl. plus, given that MIRA is chinese, she knows what it's like to be in a foreign country, which is something that clemmie was glad to have in common with her when they first met. plus, clemmie really admires her talent and songwriting ability, which is something that she wants to be able to develop in her own career. honestly i just see them being really cute friends.

 + LEE DONGHYUCK – first of all, they're able to bond easily since they're the same age. second of all, their group mates all like to comment on how scarily similar they are in terms of personality. they're both somewhat carefree people who always have witty comments to make in order to brighten the mood, and they have egos that could rival each other. despite being so similar, their personalities never seem to class, and clemmie views him as the little brother that she never had (even though he resents being called her little brother because "shut up, i'm only five months younger than you").

– LEAST-CLOSEST SLOT:
 + MAIA – clemmie doesn't hate the girl or anything – to be honest, she really admires her due to her rapping and producing skills. but the age gap is kind of difficult to overcome, and their personalities are extremely different. clemmie finds it hard to get close with her, no matter how much she wants to, and she's not sure if it's due to some kind of language barrier due to MAIA being japanese, or due to her hard headed and tsundere nature.

 + LEE TAEYONG – clemmie won't admit it, but she's lowkey terrified of him. only because he's much older than her, and he's extremely dedicated, and well, he always seems to have that intense look in his eyes. deep down, clemmie knows that he's harmless, but that knowledge seems to completely slip her mind whenever it comes to actually talking with him. when she looks at lee taeyong, the first thought that comes to mind is that he's not someone that she wants to be on the bad side of, because his intimidating aura makes him seem far scarier than her actually is.

 + love at first sight is not an exaggeration when it comes to describe yukhei's first impression of clemmie. as soon as she walked into the room, his eyes were on her, and he knew right then and there that she was a person that he wanted to have in his life, even if she was a member of their rival group. he's not one to dwell on things for long, so he was quick to walk over and introduce himself to her, trying to be as smooth and flirty as possible, and he was even more attracted to her when she turned to face him, an amused smile on her face and a flirty comment rolling off her tongue in reply.

– HER FIRST IMPRESSION:
 + she didn't think much of him ay first, as she didn't really notice him other than the fact that he was the really tall figure in corner that she couldn't place the name of, because she was positive that he seemed familiar. naturally, he really gained her attention when he walked over and made a small flirty remark, one that clemmie could tell was meant to be light hearted, and she immediately decided that she and him were going to get along just based on their similar habits of flirting with people.

 + BEG | as it turns out, subtlety just isn't a word in yukhei's dictionary, because it's obvious right from the beginning that he is into her. anyone who sees them interact together could probably tell. his group mates know. clemmie's group mates know. the little old lady on the end of the street knows, because he's just that obvious. so naturally, even clemmie knows, because she's not that dense. so naturally, from the beginning their relationship is founded on flirty and witty remarks, and constantly trying to outdo each other in pickup lines and make the other one flustered. unlike the other slots, they didn't start off with an awkward phase of trying to get to know each other, or trying to find common ground between them, because they could easily communicate in a language they both knew – flirting. they probably bonded quite a bit because they're both confident and a bit impulsive, and they both know what it's like to be a celebrity in a country that you didn't grow up in. even though most of their interactions revolve around flirting and wit, there's an underlying understanding between them that doesn't need to be spoken out loud to be known.

 + MID | it's not until the middle when they actually start to talk more, and not just openly flirt with each other. despite all the flirting, they're actually not really that close with each other, and they don't really know much about each other either. so their pickup lines turn into deep conversations in the practice rooms and random three am thoughts over text messages. they're also the type to sneak out to go and get coffee together or go the mcdonalds in the middle of the night bundled up in clothes and masks so that they're not recognisable by any fans. their far more reckless that some of their group mates for doing this, but it's these times where they really get to know each other, and really find themselves opening up to each other and telling each other things that they don't usually tell anyone else. this only strengthens their bond, because now they can go from throwing around flirty comments to having deep conversations in the span of a matter of minutes, much to the bewilderment of their group mates.

 + END | the flirting has become even worse, because now, yukhei doesn't bother holding back, because he is genuinely interested in clemmie, and not just attracted to her because of her looks. he doesn't really have anything to hide, and figures he may as well be bold, and hey, at least it always makes her smile, which is something that never fails to take his breath away (ok, so maybe his bandmates are right when they say that he's whipped, but he's never going to admit it. clemmie on the other hand, likes him just as much, because she knows too that he's not just after her for her looks. however, part of her is slightly scared, because they're idols, from rival groups, and while she's got a clean slate in terms of scandals, a dating rumour will taint it. however, it's increasingly hard to think about that whenever he throughs compliments at her with a look on his face that tells clemmie he means it. and when he finally musters up the courage to confess properly, by cupping her cheeks delicately and kissing her, clemmie thinks that he makes her happy, and that's all that matters (even if their group mates tease them mercilessly for it – not that yukhei seems to care).

 + yukhei always patting her head, because he thinks that her height is adorable, and he loves how short and cute she is. clemmie doesn't share the sentiment, because she hates being teased for her height, and he always manages to mess up her hair. even though she always crosses her arms and tries to huff and him (which is far cuter than she imagines), yukhei just won't seem to stop.

 + yekhei pestering her for kisses, and clinging to her and refusing to let go until she has fulfilled his wish. he's stubborn enough to remain glued to clemmie's side until he gets what he wants, and usually it doesn't take long for clemmie to comply and peck his check, even if it's just so she can have free use of her arm again.

 + yukhei trying to teach her the dance to BOSS for fun or something, but clemmie's just not getting the hang of it, because she's not good at dancing, and she's nowhere near the level of being able to dance well to a song with choreography like that, but he's really patient with her and always asks if she's okay whenever she falls over or trips over her own feet.

 + clemmie teaching him bits of french. because even though he speaks like five different languages, he wants to learn one more, and won't stop pestering her about it until she starts teaching him little words (which leads to him using cute french nicknames for her). little does clemmie knows that he just wants to flirt with her in french, too.

 + pickup line competitions !! because this is totally something that they would do, and they'd both get really competitive, trying to make the other flustered, while the rest of their group mates silently judge them for how cringy some of them are (not that it really stops either of them, anyway).

 + food fights in the dorm !! it starts completely by accident, when one of the girls accidentally drops a bowl of noodles on the floor, and the next thing everyone knows, food is being launches across the table, and alliances are being formed on either side of the kitchen bench. it's a great stress reliever, even if their manager isn't too happy to find the dorm a complete mess upon return.

 + game nights where they play monopoly or something as a big group, but everyone gets super competitive (especially clemmie), and it almost ends in a disaster because the girls of COMENT all take monopoly very seriously.

 + clemmie and MIRA being super cute friends and best friend goals, even though they trained at different companies. i honestly really think they'd be such cute friends.
