PERSONALITY:

━ Neungmi loves to talk. She doesn’t just enjoy talking to friends, family members and co-workers; she loves to strike up conversations with total strangers. Neungmi loves to meet new people and learn about their lives. Unlike introverts who tend to think before they speak, Neungmi who is an extrovert, tends to speak as a way to explore and organize her thoughts and ideas. She has a wide circle of friends—since meeting new people and striking a conversation is easy for her.

━ Neungmi is also action-oriented. She is willing to take practical action to deal with a problem or a certain situation. If Neungmi is set on doing something, she will not hesitate and do it for the greater good.

━ Next, Neungmi is an opinionated person. She’s very certain about her beliefs and expresses her ideas strongly. Some may find this trait admirable but some people just find her as attention-seeking and selfish.

━ Other than that, Neungmi is stubborn. She dislikes it when people try to change her mind as she think her decisions are always right. She also dislikes it when people push her to do something she doesn’t want to—even if it’s for the greater good. It will take quite some time and probably a verbal fight with her to change her mind.

━ Last but not least, Neungmi is short tempered. She is easily irritated over small matters and people who goes against her words. Neungmi is scary when she’s mad as she’s usually seen with a joyful expression on her face. People tend to leave her alone when she’s aggravated because she’s frightening and annoying to handle.


BACKGROUND:

━ Seon Neungmi was born on May 11, 1997 at a local hospital in Yeosu, South Korea. She is the oldest out of her four siblings and was the only one who was born in Yeosu. At the age of 5, Neungmi and her family moved to a  city nearby called Miryang.

━ Neungmi’s parents were both theatre actors and as the first born, she was heavily influenced with threatre arts. She acted and set up her own stage in her free time—even if the stage was basicly pieces of carboard stuck together and consisted of ruined curtains. Because of her big love for arts, Neungmi worked hard in hopes of getting into a good art high school.

━ In the year 2012, Neungmi got accepted into Seoul School of Performing Arts in the Theatre Arts department. Most of the people that Neungmi befriended were trainees from various entertainments. Seeing them dance, rap and singing inspired and encouraged Neungmi to audition.

━ Neungmi trained herself before she auditioned for JYP—her desired company. However, she got rejected. She went to SM Entertainment and she also got rejected. This cycle went about a few more auditions but Neungmi didn’t give up. She trained harder and in the middle of 2013, she eventually got into Fantagio Entertainment.

━ At the end of 2016, Neungmi left Fantagio Entertainment because she feels like she won’t be getting anywhere. She then auditioned at Mystique Entertainment.

TRIVIA/S:

━ Neungmi is great at changing the tone of her voice and copying other people’s voices. She can also copy the sound of phone notifications and trick people.

━ Neungmi loves watching anime and mainly learnt Japanese so she won’t have to wait for subtitles.

━ Her worst subject was Calculus and she scored a 5% once.

━ Neungmi loves reading trivias and she usually blurts out a trivia when she finds something connecting to the said trivia.

━ When Neungmi was 8, she was featured in a detergent CF.

━ Neungmi loves Kumamon and her room is full of Kumamon stuffs. Her phone even has a Kumamon casing.

━ Neungmi can’t drink coffee without feeling sick.

— After countless times of being rejected, I finally got into Fantagio Entertainment. However, after almost three years of training, it doesn’t look the glorious debut I’ve dream of will ever come and I left Fantagio. Here in Mystique Entertainment, I want to show you that I’m debut worthy and ready to face the challenges of being an idol.
