Pastebin Monday: Jan 30, 2017

I'm gonna just straight into it. I'm excited for the next couple weeks, and there's a few reasons why.

Last week:
Last week, I streamed Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Monday, Friday and Saturday were dedicated to Alpha Sapphire and Wednesday was Red Glitchless. Overall, I don't think the week went very well. Apart from Saturday's no reset run, the furthest I got in either game was about halfway through, and I was in a generally sour mood for most of the streams. It's a shame because I want to play these games, but it's tough to get motivated when you get shit on that much.

This week:
This week, I'm planning on streaming Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. I *might* do a stream Monday (today) if I have a chance, but I do have some IRL chores to take care of, so that comes first. Either way, the plan will be to do more no reset runs and less grinding. I always say stuff like "My time isn't good enough for me to reset over every little thing" and yet I reset over every little thing. I need to avoid that. Apart from the very end of the AS no reset run I did the other day, I had a ton of fun playing the full game. I want to start making that the norm, at least until I get close to the times I want.

Tentatively, Monday (if we stream) will be Red Glitchless, Wednesday will be learning Blue Catch 'em All, Friday will be Red Glitchless, and Sunday will be Omega Ruby. That's right, I want to do a couple of no reset runs in Omega Ruby and see which I like better. From what I've heard (and I could be wrong), OR is generally more safe/consistent while AS is likely the faster copy. Since right now all I want to do is re-learned, refine, and just play the damn game, OR may be the better choice for me. The format I'm hoping for is to do a no reset run to start a stream, and then go for a "true attempt" after with the time I have left. We'll see how that works and maybe re-evaluate.
