Waylan didn't have any reason to beat around the bush, no he needed to get straight to the point of this mini meeting.

"Well, Nysea won't be around much longer which is why most of us have come here. You welcomed us kindly and it means a lot, but I have a favor to ask you.

I believe this will benefit everyone here and I'd like to extend the offer to everyone within the city."

He'd motion towards his cosmic relic bearing all the stars in the constellation.

"I'd like permission to occupy somewhere on this land and teach Celestialism to any who seek knowledge of it. I wanted to get your permission to do so before I started laying out any idea.

I don't know how long we'll be within your city, but I'd like to continue where I left off in Nysea."

[19:09] "I've no real clue who Del mer Joyau is, but it's a pleasure to meet you Waylan mer Joyau. No offense though, I am sure they were a good person."

He wasn't big on parents being introduced with their names, as it simply wouldn't mean much to him. Even those of Asta's past, he didn't typically find heritage to mean much.

"This is our final stand, Waylan… We've come here simply due to the defense Myllenoris has in comparison to Nysea, and hopefully will be able to return you all home soon. It's for all your safety, an agreement made with Aeliana herself. But your request is an odd one, and I will tell you why."

Crossing his legs a little closer, he also folds his arms over his chest. Closing his eyes with a sigh, he speaks. "War is on the horizon, and we could not even be here come that day. To allow such a thing is meaningless now, and we should work towards such efforts once the war is over."

Eyes open, emeralds focused on Wayland. "I'll permit teaching inside of your own house if you own one. Or even done in Starfall, since it's hardly occupied. But I will not allow for it to be advertised, not until we have secured our place... As I don't know how this next conflict will go, and all I ask for you is patience."

Perhaps he could use this time to focus or gain more support for the idea when the time called for it. This was plenty to consider at a time of war.

"A small location is fine; I don't want people to give up on what they believe in, so I must remain strong and keep my goal within my grasp."

Waylan held up his hand "Even with war being on the horizon; I still strongly believe in giving something for people to believe in.

Of course victory should be the main concern, but what comes after? I'll focus on trying to banish these unholy creates, but I'll also focus on what comes after."

Waylan offered a slight bow on his head towards the High Lord.

"I appreciate you taking the time to hear me and consider my request."

[19:24] "You're welcome, but a small room does work for now. Starfall isn't small, but that can also work. Use it as a room, as it is protected by us even now. The demons cannot push that place, and if they do they'll be quickly apprehended. Feel free to teach your religion there for now, until we can settle something permanent after the war."

He felt that would be reasonable, as setting anything up when their home could be gone in a year wasn't wise. He worried about the outcome, and it was colored on his features. But he would do his best to hide it, trying to keep his chest out and seem proud.

Confident...

But for how long could he do that? Many people gathered, and more came in each day. So what was he to say or do? "I'll do my best to not let anyone down, and once we win this war everything will be worked out. I appreciate you for coming to me about this, but is that all? If so, we'll head back outside."

A smile offered as he prepared to travel down the tower stairs once again. He needed to plan for the future whether or not he'd succeed was unclear, but he would stray from his path.
