  50.
  51. Azumarill @ Choice Band
  52. Ability: Huge Power
  53. EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
  54. Adamant Nature
  55. - Liquidation
  56. - Knock Off
  57. - Aqua Jet
  58. - Play Rough
  59.
  60. Tapu Fini @ Leftovers
  61. Ability: Misty Surge
  62. EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spe
  63. Bold Nature
  64. IVs: 0 Atk
  65. - Whirlpool
  66. - Nature's Madness
  67. - Taunt
  68. - Hidden Power [Fire]
  69.
  70.
  71.
  72.
  73. Weaknesses;
  74. ground: Scarf Excadrill + water immunity,
  75. Dragon: Kyurem-B, Dragon Dance Dragonite; both with Iron Head
  76. grass: Mega-Venusaur, Bulk Up/Choice Band Tapu Bulu
  77. Steel: Celesteela, Mega-Scizor, Scarf Excadrill
  78. Poison: Nidoking/Queen
  79. Flying: Celesteela
  80. Fairy: Bulk Up/Choice Band Tapu Bulu
  81.
  82. Almost impossible match up;
  83. ->Mega Venusaur; Bulu can't afford to run Zen Headbutt, Half the team invites him in. The only way you deal with it is by using Tapu Koko's Z and sack Koko.
  84.
  85.
  86.
  87. Bulu; while band or other options seem nice; Scarf Bulu means I can outspeed Mega-gallade/Loppuny/Manectric as well as Volcarona/Charizard-Y. Wood Hammer/Horn are required for damage and longativity, both these options get to take out atleast 2 mons and once you use Horn, I assume you have already won. Horn isn't as powerfull and you will notice it, but the recovery is needed to make up for the recoil caused by hammer. Stone Edge is for Volcarona/Zard-Y/Zapdos/Staraptor and the last two mentioned are especially important. Superpower is the closes I did consider dropping but only moves the issue; Ferrothorn. Leech Ferro is a pain and will continue to be much like Mega-Venusaur exept ferro lacks instant recovery. I also tend to use Superpower on Bisharp but minor mention.
  88.
  89. Koko; Koko is great, it's naturally faster then anything not named Mega-<...> and best of all, it is versatile. Koko's electric type allowes you a decently powerfull attacker that takes neutral from steel moves like Scizor's Bullet Punch, Heavy Slam from Celesteela, Scarf Bisharp's Iron Head and such while being able to pivot out when things get too hot. It also serves as a Zapdos check thanks to roost. I can't think of a single mon I did need Taunt for, only HP Fire with Choice Specs has been aluring at times. I mostly mention this because it deals with Scizor, Ferro and punished Venusaur early but if it mega'd it makes no difference. Admitedly this is one of 2 routes I can take with this team; Koko Roost + Defensive Fini or Specs Koko + ghostium Z Mimikyu.
  90. The EV's are made to outslow opposing Tapu Koko, Crobat and still outspeed Weavile/Ribombee. The Hp EV's then evade the 2HKO from Defensive Mega-Scizor or evade OHKO from +2 Mega-Scizor. Legit, you overrate how important those EV's are for Koko in that high speed bench.
  91.
  92. Klefki; Flash Cannon, spikes+Defog, what is this Klefki??? Well your Bulu, Kyurem, Choice Locked Poison answere and Toxic Immunity. Without this there is no advantage. You run Defog because often the teams running hazard stack also have the momentum and agression to push set up. When they do, the hazards will matter so being able to remov them is too important to miss out on not to mention removal in general. I can run Defog on Fini but that would be instead of Whirlpool and I will explain why that move is important in Fini's section.
  93.
  94. Diancie-Mega; mega, fast, magic bouce, stealth rocks and actually does damage not to mention coverage thanks to earth power. This is a staple, you legit use this thing is 9/10 match ups. sometimes it's even usefull to not mega and preserve the defenses vs Latios and mega Loppuny because they are KO'd by Moonblast eitherway.
  95.
  96. Azumarill; Powerfull Priority Water coverage. Without you lose to Landorus-I, Excardrill, Scizor and much more. This mon thanks to hazard stack, nature power mons and pivoting is the ideal revenge killer making it pretty much useless to run Belly Drum, so why not maximize with Choice Band instead. You will use Knock off vs Zapdos/Celesteela/Skarmory/Staraptor as they take it otherwise, now put up rocks and the next time they try something you clean 2HKO with Liquidation/Play Rough.
  97.
  98. Tapu Fini; Yea, I got reaaaal tired of losing to SD Scizor so I thought; how do I stop losing to this Celesteela and Mamoswine? Well remove it or take away what makes it scary. Taunt lets you prevent SD, Leech Seeds and Healing of any kind. Nature Power helps chip Chansey, Ferro, Celesteela and every fat mon down. Admitedly Whirlpool doesn't do too much persay but when facing Chansey, Porygon2 or Klefki or any kind of Toxic-for-damage reliant pokemon are put in a terrible spot against this thing and I did like to have that advantage moving forward. Whirlpool also helps deal with ferro, tho this is assuming you are facing none-Powerwhip Ferro.
  99.
  100.
  101. Other options;
  102. Change nr. 1;
  103. Change Whirlpool on Tapu Fini -> Defog
  104. Change Defog on Klefki -> Foul Play
  105. Foul Play on Klef would massively help deal with SD Scizor, SS Cloyster and DD Dragonite where as having Whirlpool would have trapped defensive mons like Porygon2/Chansey, something that you really should value as much. The Defog user itself is irrelevant for the effectivity of removal as Fini can Fog vs Dark type mono's and Klef can Fog to prevent offensive set up sweeping.
  106.
  107.
  108. Change nr. 2;
  109. Change Tapu Fini -> Mimikyu
  110. Change the Tapu Koko set into Choice Specs.
  111.
  112. Mimikyu @ Ghostium Z
  113. Ability: Disguise
  114. EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
  115. Adamant Nature
  116. - Shadow Claw
  117. - Shadow Sneak
  118. - Play Rough
  119. - Swords Dance
  120.
  121. Tapu Koko @ Choice Specs
  122. Ability: Electric Surge
  123. EVs: 40 HP / 252 SpA / 216 Spe
  124. Timid Nature
  125. - Hidden Power [Fire]
  126. - Thunderbolt
  127. - Dazzling Gleam
  128. - U-turn
  129.
  130. This change would take away my Zapdos answere, my ability to safely pivot on Lati(possibly even sack) and punish ribombee's sash abuse in Koko's regard AND make me bait for Scizor. But in trade I get specs Koko's Thunderbolt vs Porygon2 and most importantly;
  131. +2 252+ Atk Mimikyu Never-Ending Nightmare (140 BP) vs. 248 HP / 88 Def Venusaur-Mega: 303-357 (83.4 - 98.3%) -- 68.8% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock THIS CALC, IS FUNDAMENTAL TO VICTORY. Now keep in mind Mega-Scizor isn't as easy to cope with thanks to pivoting, how the teams often are structured and simply put the things bulk/set up;
  132. +2 252+ Atk Mimikyu Never-Ending Nightmare (140 BP) vs. 248 HP / 124 Def Scizor-Mega: 265-313 (77.2 - 91.2%) -- 25% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock but it can manage.
  133.
  134.
  135.
  136.
  137. WITH ALL THIS CONSIDERED;
  138.
  139.
  140.
  141. Tapu Bulu @ Choice Scarf
  142. Ability: Grassy Surge
  143. EVs: 5 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
  144. Jolly Nature
  145. - Wood Hammer
  146. - Stone Edge
  147. - Superpower
  148. - Horn Leech
  149.
  150. Tapu Koko @ Choice Specs
  151. Ability: Electric Surge
  152. EVs: 40 HP / 252 SpA / 216 Spe
  153. Timid Nature
  154. - Hidden Power [Fire]
  155. - Thunderbolt
  156. - Dazzling Gleam
  157. - U-turn
  158.
  159. Klefki @ Leftovers
  160. Ability: Prankster
  161. EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
  162. Bold Nature
  163. IVs: 0 Atk
  164. - Flash Cannon
  165. - Toxic
  166. - Spikes
  167. - Defog
  168.
  169. Diancie-Mega @ Diancite
  170. Ability: Magic Bounce
  171. EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
  172. Timid Nature
  173. - Moonblast
  174. - Earth Power
  175. - Diamond Storm
  176. - Stealth Rock
  177.
  178. Azumarill @ Choice Band
  179. Ability: Huge Power
  180. EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
  181. Adamant Nature
  182. - Liquidation
  183. - Knock Off
  184. - Aqua Jet
  185. - Play Rough
  186.
  187. Mimikyu @ Ghostium Z
  188. Ability: Disguise
  189. EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
  190. Adamant Nature
  191. - Shadow Claw
  192. - Shadow Sneak
  193. - Play Rough
  194. - Swords Dance
  195.
  196. This team is the optimized final product, one that has answeres to Mega-Venusaur, checks to Mega-Scizor, good stance vs the majority and most importantly; multiple wincons.
  197. Hazard stack; SR + Spikes
  198. Hazard removal; Priority Defog
  199. a set up sweepers; SD Adamant ghostium Mimikyu
  200. 3 Revenge Killers; CB Azu, Scarf Bulu, Specs Koko
  201. A Mega-Diancie; Mega-Diancie
  202.
  203.
  204. 50/50 trade changes; Magnet on Tapu Koko instead of Specs; this would open the window for Roost + Nature Power(Taunt suuuuck on it) Koko, but it would take away your instant damage vs M-scizor/Ferrothorn when using HP Fire. In Trade, you get to change up moves... Yea it's good but a hard pay I can't afford.
  205.
  206.
  207.
  208. [Hide=Match ups]
  209. [Hide=Steel]
  210. For some reason people are running Magnezone instead of Excadrill on 1500 range on ladder; no lol. Scarf Excadrill + Ferrothorn, Heatran + Ferrothorn, Celesteela + Ferrothorn and Mega-Scizor are 3 things that show pressence vs Mono fairy and with Specs Hp fire from Koko you have a way of dealing with it all of these besides Heatran and that one you want to have gone before all else. It's not easy and requires heavy prediction as well as momentum enforcements on M-Scizor. Mikikyu is a free kill but you need that kill to count on Scizor and not on Ferro. Common structure is; Heatran, Mega-Scizor, SpD Celesteela, Skarmory, Ferrothorn, Excadrill
  211. [/hide]
  212. [Hide=Poison]
  213. This isn't even a ''bad'' match up, just has a combo of 2 pivots, 1 all-out attacking lead and 1 defensive monstrosity.
  214. Crobat pivots on Bulu for free, Toxapex only serves as an annoyance to Mimikyu, Nidoking is dumb as hell and Mega-Venusaur is every fairy mono's bane of existence. You need Nido to be gone for Koko to have fun but this fails if Venusaur already got to mega(something that always is the case as you can't offensively prevent that), Mimikyu needs Toxapex gone before you can break venusaur and Muk-A likes to damage trade so pick 1. It purely depends on how many turns the opponent misplays or gets right while accounting the fact they have the advantage... and it shows. Nido lead or Venulead generally show how the opponent goes to play as Venulead is the scariest while nidoking-Lead is asking to get dropped down.
  215. Common team structure; Mega-Venusaur, Crobat, Toxapex, Nihilego, Nidoking, Muk-Alola
  216. [/hide]
  217. [Hide=Normal]
  218. -Azumarill wants Staraptor gone; knock the leftovers/helmet, put up rocks, liquidate and win with azu.
  219. -Tapu Bulu wants Staraptor gone; keep pressence with Diancie/Klefki and punish with a Stone edge. Preferably knock the lefties or toxic it; -1 252 Atk Tapu Bulu Stone Edge vs. 240 HP / 252+ Def Staraptor: 132-156 (35.5 - 42%) -- 76.2% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock
  220. Tapu Bulu/Azu legit clean everything in that so go for it. I did say watch out for Porygon-Z with Z-Conversion but Mimikyu handles that(and does nothing if the mono doesn't run Porygon-Z...)
  221. Common Normal structure; Chansey, Porygon2, Mega-Loppuny, Normalium-Z Porygon-Z/Diggersby, Staraptor, Ditto
  222. [/hide]
  223. [hide=Psychic]
  224. Is it Scarf Victino yes/no, is it Scarf Jirachi yes/no, is it Z-Celebrate Jirachi yes/no. if any of these are yes the game isn't an easy walk in the park. Scarf Victini is like Scarf greninja, it gambels with 50/50's for V-create and Bolt-Strike, Diancie does well but isn't made to deal with it. Jirachi I don't have words for, it's a pain, end of discussion. You have Mimikyu with Shadow Sneak, Aqua Jet from Azumarill and a healthy Tapu Koko but you need the mons for other psychic types like Mew, Deoxys-Speed and Sash-Alakazam.
  225. Common structure on their side is Mew, Deoxys-Speed, latios, Victini, Jirachi(a must on all psychic mono's) and lastly Mega Gallade.
  226. [/hide]
  227. [hide=Water]
  228. Koko 5-0's just remove rain or swamp. This can be done in multiple way.
  229. Bulu 5-0's just remove Gyarados. This can be done with Koko, Mimikyu, spamming more Bulu etc.
  230. if it is infact Sap Sipper Azumarill, Koko actually takes a +6 Aqua Jet really well so use that instead of scarf Bulu and you are fine.
  231. I want to say a common draft but of all the mono's this one is by far the most wide in team options;
  232. Mega-Swampert is always there, greninja is common and imo needed, toxapex is common but for this match up not as big of an issue exept if Banefull Bunker, Gyarados prevents auto-lose from Bulu, Pelipper only serves to make Mega Swampert scarier. Scarf/Specs/Sub-calm Mind keldeo, Pivot Rotom-wash, Cro-Cune, BD Azumarill, Support from Roost-Toxic Mantine etc. There is legit too much to name so having 2 mons that each 5-0 against prepaired rain teams is just bluntly put amazing.
  233. [/hide]
  234. [hide=Fire]
  235. Put up rocks(I know diancie could get free kills, but often sash Infernape or Sash Blacephalon cause issues if no rocks go up)
  236. Once those are up controll the weather and prevent spin from Torkoal. Azumarill should end the game, Koko can end the game, Scarf Bulu can 80% gamble to end the game and lastly Diancie wins. Main issue you have facing this mono will be Heatran, so make the baloon pop and it should snowball from there. Often the draft is; Sash Infernape, Mega-Charizard-X/Y, Torkoal, Heatran, Rotom-H/Blacephalon, Volcarona
  237. [/hide]
  238. [hide=grass]
  239. This is a pain to fight, holding CB/Bulk Up Tapu Bulu, Cradily, Mega Venusaur, Ferrothorn and potential Serperior issues.
  240. Focus on removing one at a time, if Ferro goes down it can get loads easier. Keep in mind Ferro/cradil are switched around when dealing with Koko as Diancie is still there for them. Mimikyu needs to have Ferro OR Bulu gone before set up. If this is done the game speeds up heavily forcing sacks on both sides every 3 turns if both play well enough. Often the draft exists of; Mega-venusaur, Breloom, Cradily, Tapu Bulu, Ferrothorn, Serperior.
  241. [/hide]
  242. [hide=ghost]
  243. Often a Trick Room abusing team, force down on the TR users with Koko. If they have golurk Azumarill often does the job.
  244. Main pokemon to look out for include Mimikyu, golurk/Jellicent and Marowak-Alola. SD Mimikyu is an issue and Tr boosted Maro wrecks havoc. Admitedly it is hard to get around if you don't optimize the offense you can at any 1v1 keep, it's just that once you take something out the issue arrives that they can put up TR or set up or etc. Mega Sableye, Mimikyu, Blacephalon, Marowak-Alola, Dhelmise, Jellicent/Cofag OR Golurk/Gengar.
  245. [/hide]
  246. [hide=Rock]
  247. Remove Cradily with Klefki, Bulu, Mimikyu set up etc. Prevent Tr from Staka with M-diancie. Prevent webs from Shuckle with M-diancie. Legit this mono sucks and we all know it. Best it does vs mono fairy is TR and spam attacks with Rhyperior. Cradily prevents 5-0 by Azumarill so saying it's not 100% needed on mono rocks is laughable. Scarf Bulu 6-0's, no question it just 6-0's, best the common teams have for it is Stakataka and that can't counter it. Shuckle could infest + toxic but dies to 3 Hammer's.
  248. [/hide]
  249. [hide=Bug]
  250. Prevent webs from galvantula at all cost, put up rocks mid game and roll with Mega-Diancie. This is a scary mono but so much space for destruction on both sides. The obvious issue is Mega-Scizor but do NOT underestimate the threat of Mega-Pinsir under Sticky Web support. Bulu does nothing this game but truth be told Tapu Koko just zones in with a simple specs thunderbolt and a single monentum trade vs Scarfed Buzz/hera who go for Poison Jab or EQ respectively.
  251. Common team structure; Armaldo, Volcarona, Galvantula, Araquanid, Mega-Scizor/Forretress, Mega-Pinsir/Buzzwole/Scarf-Heracross.
  252. [/hide]
  253. [hide=Dark]
  254. Scarf greninja is scary as it keeps gambling with gunk shot/U-turn. Muk-Alola often damage trades with one of the mons. Mandibuzz is a momentum drain but keep in mind helmet Mandibuzz is fat enough to take +2 Mimikyu's Play Rough, takes nothing from edge from Bulu and can remove hazards at will. Sure Klefki/Diancie stop all it does but keep in mind how big of an issue it could be. lastly Bisharp... 50/50 with the Scarf or Sash chances as Lo is a joke in this regard. Bulu checks, Azu takes a bit from +2 Sucker but KO's with Jet. Koko doesn't like taking it on but it certainly checks all besides a flinch happy Bisharp.
  255. [/hide]
  256. [hide=Dragon]
  257. >''Fairy nerfs Dragons to unfair extend''. Yea no, Scarf Kyurem-B with Iron head should be treated with every single sense of care. DD Iron Head Dragonite is also no joke. CB Dragonite is much less relevant but still a potential issue. Azumarill, Specs Koko and a well played Klefki is needed to not lose to these 2 giants. Past these there are very obvious plays like Bulu 100% switch into garchomp and every other mon is to my honest opinion nothing to worry about. Kommo can't set up vs anything so all it ever does is spam Jab. Koko and Diancie-mega get free kills.
  258. [/hide]
  259. [hide=Electric]
  260. Bulu wants Zapdos gone, so make it. Koko pivots untill golem-A/Magnezone are removed, after that just spam Dazzel to your own desire.
  261. Azumarill doesn't have an easy time but can still do work vs Xurk/Raichu-A after Terrain and destroy Rotom/Zap if you Play it Rough.
  262. Preserve Bulu at every cost and you should win without much efford.
  263. Common team structure; Xurkitree/Raichu-Alola, Tapu Koko, Rotom-Wash, Zapdos, Magneton, Golem-Alola
  264. [/hide]
  265. [hide=Fairy]
  266. Mirror match up is fun, you have Flash Cannon Klefki, they have Choice Band Tapu Bulu. Everything else is bland. Diancie is a major mon, Opposing BD Azu needs Bulu gone so keep that in mind. if you remove their Klefki the game speeds up to 4-0 with your Bulu as their Tapu Koko is suddenly asked to check Bulu.
  267. [/hide]
  268. [hide=Fight]
  269. They have Scarf Keldeo/Terrakion/Infernape/Buzzwole and Sash Breloom/Infernape.... they don't stand a chance if you play with a brain.
  270. Fight isn't a bad mono but it can't reasonably deal with this mono without triple Scarf users.
  271. Common team; Keldeo, Mega-Gallade, Terrakion, Breloom, Infernape, Kommo-o
  272. [/hide]
  273. [hide=Flying]
  274. I call this mono annoyance. You can legit lose on the spot to this mono because they have outs to all your breakers; DD Dragonite, Celesteela, Skarmory, Mantine to irritate Azumarill, Lando-T/gliscor to hinder Koko, Thunderus-T to stop Koko with Scarf Sludge Wave and lasty they have Zapdos. It should be obvious this team relies on Bulu to revenge and all the things here besides gliscor and Lando-T switch INTO YOU instead of Bulu into them. Lando-I is cool but nothing a well played azu can't irritate. Be thoughtfull on Knock/Aqua Jet plays vs it tho. Koko is your friend, Mega-Diancie is your friend and most importantly, Mimikyu is a free KO.
  275. They often have; Zapdos/Thunderus-T, Lando-T/Gliscor, Mantine, Skarmory/Celesteela, Thunderus-T/Celesteela/Charizard-Y, Dragonite/Charizard-Y. (you see all kind of combinations as many good options are simalar to another such as the case of Zap->Thunderus-T, Lando-T->Gliscor, Celesteela->Skarmory.
  276. [/hide]
  277. [hide=Ground]
  278. Ground mono is basically Hippo+Exca's fun house, they go into Toad on Azu on everything besides with Exca and Garchomp for some unholy reasoning. Azu can clean 6-0 if you play it well. On the same note if they play toad/Exca well they can 6-0 with Excadrill.
  279. They are always; Excadrill, Hippowdon, Landorus-I, Sash Sludge wave Dugtrio, Seismitoad/gastrodon, Scarf/Sash garchomp.
  280. [/hide]
  281. [hide=Ice]
  282. Ice Mono is funny because they use Avalugg, which is absolute shit as it allowes in pretty much every special attacker known to mankind. All ice Mono has to be scary is lead Mamo with LO/Sash, Scarf Kyurem-B and Cloyster. This team doesn't care for Veil, this team doens't care for Weavile, this team doesn't care for anything it has if you play properly with Koko and Klefki not to mention Mega-Diancie. However, if veil go up and Cloyster gets to set up without being damaged once. You played poorly as 3 of those things could be dealt with.
