Sinnoh Episode 1

Mercury hated this mission with a passion so far. He was very bored standing guard against the door to the Valley Windworks. Inside his leader admins Watts and Cinder, both of whom who disliked one another a lot, are interrogating the head scientist and his friends inside. His daughter(The scientist that is.) tried to rescue him, but there's not much a 7 year old girl can do to a teenager.

The 19 year old teen crossed his arms and lean against the door as he soon sees a figure walking towards him with a Monferno strolling next to him. A black male of similar age with a long black robe with a long high-collared sleeve cerulean shirt on underneath it with matching black gloves and boots. Both of his arms are covered with a cloth and pauldron on his shoulders with 2 straps covering the shirt in a "X" manner with an Ultra Ball symbol holding both straps underneath his right shoulder. His facial features show off a rather unnerving glare intensified by his black baseball cap.

"Heh, got a problem or something?" Mercury sneered at the male who looked at the warehouse behind him with an unamused look before turning his head to see a little girl standing on a tree stump with a worried look as he sighs and point at her. "Listen, I dunno what's going on, but apparently you and some of your friends are holding that girl's father hostage..."

Mercury smirks, apparently this guy is trying to be a hero? He'll entertain the loser before him. "Oh, and what if we are?" His hand hovering above his Pokeball before taking it out and juggling it in the air. ".....You have one chance to convince your friends to leave else you will all experience pain..." The Monferno besides the guy's tail bristles with the flame at the end burning brighter.

Yeah, this guy thinks he's a 'hero', Mercury chuckled as he throws out his pokeball to reveal his Machop who lands on the ground and flexes his arms with a sneer of his own. "Fine then, I'll play with you..."

The male sighs and point ahead at the Machop for his Monferno.  "Close Combat..." The Monferno blurred out of eyesight, shocking both the Machop and Mercury with the former getting suddenly socked in the face on the cheek by a left hook, followed instantly by a rising knee up to his chest which is quickly followed up by Monferno headbutting Machop's on his own. The superpower pokemon stagger back while clutching his head in agonizing pain as Monferno continues up and lay a wild haymaker to his face and then end it with a flip kick underneath his chin that launches him to the air as he fall down KO'ED..

"Wh....What the..."Mercury blinks and sweats a bit as he returns his Machop and spot the rather annoyed scowl expression on the trainer's face. "Who the hell are yo-" Suddenly he get socked in the face by the male with a sharp hook as he get sent to the door clutching his broken nose."(He hits like a damned Hitmonchan!!)" Mercury could barely grasp where he's at with his shirt being held by the guy now. "I'm Joudai...now open the damned door so I can go inside and save that girl's father.."

"Do-Do you think.." Mercury's nose leaks more blood to his shirt, missing Joudai's hand by inches. "Th-th-that I"m gonna ope--!" A sudden lower upper to his chest which breaks some ribs quickly changes his mind as Mercury scampers out of Joudai's grip and hold his chest as he opens the door and fall on the floor inside the hall as Joudai steps over him and make his way to explore as Monferno hops over the bleeding grunt who is quickly considering his life choices.

As he lay on the floor, he soon hears some of his fellow grunts releasing their mons to stop Joudai, only for sounds of fists connecting on both the mons and trainers echoing out in the halls and people crying out in pain and agony alongside their mons. One of them, a fellow male grunt named Inigo being thrown through the wall with his Luxio landing on his back as he cough up some spit and blood with his Pokemon groaning in pain. "B-bloody hell, that man is not human..." Inigo mutters as he look over to Mercury.

"Dude...ho-how the hell did he get pa-past..." Inigo cough some more of his fluids as he returns his Luxio and drag himself to the wall and lean against it while sitting down on the floor. "Jesus fuck, my sides..."

Mercury could barely talk as he hears Cinder talking to Joudai, no doubt trying to scare him off with Watts behind her, prepping to watch the show. Soon after she releases her Pururgly, he hears "Close Combat" and instantly can hear the pained cries of Cinder's ace pokemon being bombarded with punches and kicks...and if what she is saying is true....being grabbed by the tail and slammed against the walls and tables before tossed out through the same hole Inigo was sent and through the window as well with Cinder running out with a horrified look as Watts simply walk out with an amused expression and look around. "If anyone one of you can walk, carry a grunt and leave out with us." Inigo and Mercury get carried up by 2 grunts as they leave the building...defeated.
Joudai returns his Monferno and sighs as he look over the scared and shocked Scientists, soon enough the girl runs inside and hugs her dad who thanks the lad. Joudai merely nods and walk off to leave the building and soon make his way up north of the route to head to the next city.....

"That was a delay of my time...but at least I helped out someone..." Spotting the Eterna Forest ahead, he could only hope that the forest will be an easy trek and not a long and painful one..For whoever would annoy him inside that is.
