Hi SL, you were the first ever recruiter I spoke to in Amsterdam. In fact, you were so supportive you couldn't find a match and tried to give me jobs that I was not interested in.

I don't see what has changed, I managed to find a job perfectly fine without your help assistance. If I listened to you and your advice I would still be working a help desk.

Judging by the way this message is formatted, you dont remember any of this happening. It feels highly impersonal and you are more interested in doing your job for yourself than actually making sure every party benefits.  I feel AR doesn't actual value its clients and how it supports them.

Seeing as AR either has a poor memory or just bad record keeping, I will ensure that on my end, I am not bothered by this type of message from AR.

Hi MP,

Thank you for your input.
I am normally receiving very different type of feedback from the candidates and clients that I work with but it's good to get that sort of a "cold shower" once in few years :)

I now do recall our meeting back in 2012. We meet few candidates per week so I hope that you can understand that it is hard to remember everyone.

I have gone through all our correspondence and I could not find any trace of me approaching you for any Helpdesk roles though.

What I notice though is that the tone of your communication has not changed.

I feel that you might not like Recruiters in general. If that's the case I can only advise you to make a comment on LinkedIN stating that you do not wish to be contacted by external Recruiters and it should do its work.

You emotional response and short jabs are most likely why you got the reply you did. First impressions matter, remember you contacted me. Both times.

I wouldn't take it personal.
