The Traveling Gem Zircon.

Name: White Zircon

Gend-they're a fucking sentient rock do we really need to assign a gender to the rock? Also they don't care either way so fuck it all.

Appearance: Since they've met a couple of modern gems they've assumed a new form, a much more slender yet athletic form, their hair has changed into long flowing white hair and their cloak has changed into a cape, they're wearing what looks like a grey cloth doublet and grey pants, their white gem seemingly embedded into the doublet. They generally have a passive kind expression to their face whilst their own features are soft, complementing the kindness and their voice sounds kind and warm with a regal lilt to it.

Age: A Fossil (in all honesty they lost count a really long time ago so this is what they tell people.)

Weapon/Gem Ability/Abilities: Their weapon is that of a staff with with a spiked club at one end of it, an old weapon for an old-timer. Their gem power allows them to travel across the universe without the need of warps by using an energy unique to them to envelop their gem whilst in gem form and shoot off into space. The way this works is that they seem to actually create a bubble around themselves that acts as if it freezes their own gem in time as well as protects them from the vacuum of space. To put it simply they're like Mr.Magoo, getting into sometimes overly dangerous situations that could be easily avoided but somehow always coming out safe.

Their Combat abilities are...surprisingly honed, they've had centuries dealing with the more dangerous residents of other worlds and as such are at the peak of their own abilities although their most notable trait is their agility, which they've honed to be able to dodge more effectively than most other gems. Their skill with their weapon is also surprising although less so once you know of their combat abilities, they're able to switch between a two handed style that focuses on offense as well as a one-handed agility-based style that focuses on dodging and defense, although they mostly stick with the latter.

Personality: they're a very....eccentric type of fellow and seems to think the weirdest things are adorable, they also seem to treasure all life to some degree and seems to truly enjoy learning new things. They do have the old man syndrome in that they have a really really hard time learning new technologies and is more likely to go off on a tangent about "KIDS THESE DAYS AND THEIR FANCY GEM TECHNOLOGIES, BACK IN MY DAY WE ONLY USED THE PURE ENERGY OF OUR GEMS AND OUR WEAPONS TO CONQUER PLANETS AND WE LIKED IT." they are actually...amazed by fusions but not in a bad way as they has never witnessed a fusion before. On a whole however they're a kind person who seems to avoid violence whenever they can and is more likely to just let their opponent tire themselves out instead of take them down.

Bio: There are many tales of White Zircon across the world of gems, some say they were a gem who predated even the diamonds and had once gave them counsel before betraying them and leaving for the stars, some say they were a loyal warrior who served each of the diamonds with a loyalty that transcended even that of a pearl but that they were lost a long long time ago. Others simply say that they do not exist, that they're just an old story used to scare pearls and other gems into behaving and obeying their diamond overlords. The true story however is much less interesting.

They are simply an old gem who had once served the Blue Diamond but had long ago decided that they could no longer serve the needs of any diamond and so using their unique gem ability they left homeworld entirely. They traveled across the universe, seeing things that no other gem before them had seen and they soon came to forsake the original plans that the diamonds had had for any planets they came across that had enough resources. They saw the beauty in life as they hopped from planet to planet and thankfully managed to never run into another gem again. To this day, countless centuries into the future they still travel across the multiverse, an old gem on a journey they themselves chose long ago.

However recently, they've ended up in aperture science, where they took on a new form after meeting the gems that resided there. Despite the fact that some of them are aligned with Homeworld they don't seem to be worried about being found, as they're sure they've long since been forgotten by the Diamonds of homeworld.
