  1. I haven't been streaming enough these past few weeks. I blamed it partly on Mario 3 randomizer not being solidified in my head as a "regular" stream item, and although that may indeed have held part of the fault, I think we all know what the most major finger can be pointed at. I'm gonna make myself say it. Phantasy Star Online 2. The first step in solving a problem is admitting that you have one, and identifying what it is, right? See, I became satisfied with my Mario 3 times, putting serious speedruns of it mostly off the table, then I discovered PSO2 - which I've been playing a lot of and largely not streaming.
  2.
  3. That isn't fair to you guys in any way, shape or form.
  4.
  5. So things are going to change.
  6.
  7. And habits aren't among them, because habits are hard. Instead, we're going to change my approach to my habits, allowing what I'm most enjoying at the moment while still delivering content that, bluntly, people will actually watch. ('Cause PSO2 doesn't exactly bring the viewers to the yard, and I want to have my 750 Follower Special SOMEDAY. :p)
  8.
  9. So here's the plan.
  10.
  11. I'm going to work harder to relegate "daytime" streaming hours (as in, when I'm awake during the day) to things like Mario 3 rando, Trauma Center, and StepMania play, as well as taking care of casual playthroughs I want to do. (This will be evident in probably about a week, since right this moment my sleep cycle is in Overnight Phase.)
  12.
  13. And especially, since we haven't particularly done it in the past and it seems it's become necessary, we're going to START doing some overnight streams occasionally. Not a lot of them, and I'm going to take more liberties with not feeling like it overnight, but I've already started showing you more PSO2 so that you can see what I'm up to, at least, so you know I haven't up and disappeared. :p (Hey, something is better than nothing, right?) Late-night and overnight will be solid PSO2 (and Tetris, if I feel like it) time, which will ensure I can still play PSO2 but not have it infringe upon daytime streaming unless I want to do a dedicated day stream for it. (Since PSO2 is the current gen of PSO, they do hold special events, so that's possible.)
  14.
  15. I'm going to work harder to make Saturdays a designated chat-interactive day, because Jackbox, Oregon Trail, and KTANE are fun for everyone involved.
  16.
  17. But most importantly, I'm going to work harder on just streaming MORE in general. More days, and longer days when possible. We've had issues bothering with long days; I keep cutting the stream for dinner and not bothering myself to return. That's going to change too. No cam while eating, of course, unless I change to Social Eating, but what I'm getting at is we're going to be streaming later. Which means we're gonna stream longer days. When dinner happens, I can either do a Social Eating stream (with/without music), or I can *gasp* actually use my Intermission layout FOR ITS INTENDED PURPOSE and play some music for you guys while I eat! How about that?! XD
  18.
  19. So yeah, we have a plan for the forseeable future. Daytime streams will be mostly Mario 3 rando, Trauma Center, StepMania play, chat-interactive games, and whatever casual game I'm doing - I started showing Super House of Dead Ninjas tonight, and once my sleep cycle hits Day Phase, the next item on the casual list is Rabi-Ribi, followed by Child of Light. Late-night/overnight streams will be mostly PSO2, Tetris, StepMania chart-writing, and other chillax stuff I feel like playing.
  20.
  21. To help me not lose track of my plans, I have been (actually) keeping up with my Game Motivation paste, found here:

  23. Check that out if you want to know what's up with "forseeable future" type plans.
  24.
  25. Hopefully all of this will resolve my mental streaming blocks. :p
