  1. Magus: Normally, when others hear of magic, they often think of occult warlocks, and if not that, the mysterious arts performed by the druids. However, there are some magical arts that even the Holy Church allow. These Magi attend a strictly regulated school dedicated to housing them, beginning at a very tender age before graduating at the age of 18, where they're entrusted with arcane knowledge that slowly blossoms within them over time.
  2.
  3. Often times, Magi are called upon by the tower of Farglen to act as what they call 'Pacifiers'; a special group of Magi dedicated to hunting down those who abuse the magical arts.
  4.
  5. Select Two Professions: Arcane, Alchemy, Deception, History, Investigation, Medical, Occult, Persuasion, Sense Motive, Religion.
  6.
  7. Primary Stats: Wisdom, Intelligence
  8.
  9. Level 1:
  10.
  11. Prestidigitation: The Magus begins with the ability to perform minor tricks and spells at will. These tricks are more or less purely for making life easier, and have no real offensive capability.
  12.
  13. -- The magus may create a harmless sensory effect. Such as: A shower of sparks, a puff of wind, soft noises, or different smells.
  14.
  15. -- Slowly manipulate up to three pounds of nonliving matter.
  16.
  17. --Snuff out lights or instantly cause them to turn on
  18.
  19. --Create an illusory image of something. These illusions are JUST real enough to be believable, but are crude upon closer inspection.
  20.
  21. -- Harmlessly or shove up to one pound of nonliving matter.
  22.
  23. --More upon questioning
  24.
  25. Cantrips: Select two cantrips.
  26.
  27. Spells: Select two 1st level spells.
  28.
  29. Level 2:
  30.
  31. Spell selection: Select up to one level 2 spell, or two lower level spells.
  32.
  33. Counter Spell: The Magus may roll an opposing wisdom check towards a caster. By channeling their arcane energy into the target, they interfere with their ability to cast spells, cancelling out a concentrated spell for 1 minute. They may repeat wisdom checks to re-establish their spell.
  34.
  35. Level 3:
  36.
  37. Spell selection: Select up to one level 3 spell, or two lower level spells.
  38.
  39.
  40. Ability Score Enhancement: +1 to an ability score of your choosing.
  41.
  42.
  43. Level 4:
  44.
  45. Spell selection: Select up to one level 4 spell, or two lower level spells.
  46.
  47. Spell Power: 3 Times per rest, you may amplify the damage of your spell, applying your Magus level to the spell modifier. Doing so
  48.
  49. Level 5:
  50.
  51. Spell selection: Select up to one level 5 spell, or two lower level spells.
  52.
  53. Contingency Plan: The Magus may prepare up to three spells 'on contingency'. This causes those spells to automatically cast themselves without requiring an action. This still consumes a cast of your spell. Certain spells cannot be cast on contingency. (most offensive spells, for example, cannot be placed on this list)
  54.
  55. An example: A Magus prepares Water Breathing on the contingency that they go under water. This casts Water Breathing as soon as they dive into the water.
  56.
  57. Level 6:
  58.
  59. Ability Score Enhancement: +1 to an ability score of your choosing.

  68.
  69.
  70. Level 8:
  71.
  72. Teleportation: The Magus may create magical checkpoints on certain locations; channeling takes too long to properly do this within combat. By joining hands with others, the Magus may teleport him and the others to the checkpoint that they please.
  73.
  74. Level 9:
  75.
  76. Ability Score Enhancement: +1 to an ability score of your choosing.
  77.

  85. Spell selection: Select an 8th level spell OR up to two level 7-5 spells, OR three level 4 or lower level spells.
  86.
  87. Spell Mastery: During long rest, the Magus may attempt to mix together two spells to create a single unique spell. This is entirely to the DM's discretion. As a general rule, spells combined may not have a total level that exceeds 9. (I.E: You may have a 4th level spell and a 5th level spell to combine together, but may not have a 4th level spell combine into a 6th or higher level spell.)
  88.
  89. This unique spell takes up one of the Magus' spell slots as normal.
