  1.
  2. GOD’S GIFTS AND CALLING ARE IRREVOCABLE (Part 1)
  3.
  4.
  5.
  6. Our Scripture reading is taken from the Book of Romans which says:
  7.
  8.
  9.
  10. “For the GIFTS and the CALLING of God are IRREVOCABLE” (Romans 11:29).
  11.
  12.
  13.
  14. Today we will look at the first part of this message which is “the GIFTS OF GOD” which are “IRREVOCABLE.” Then on the next day, we will study “the CALLING OF GOD” which are “IRREVOCABLE.”
  15.
  16.
  17.
  18. The Scripture verse above is a very wonderful scripture passage! And even though it is a short sentence, it contains the mystery of our salvation according to the eternal purpose which God accomplished in CHRIST JESUS our LORD (Ephesians 3:11). Understanding these passages and many others is what enable us to know that we are more conquerors through Him who loved us (Romans 8:37). If our Scripture reading says that, “For the GIFTS and the CALLING of God are IRREVOCABLE,” the word “IRREVOCABLE” means it cannot be retracted or revoked. In other words, it means it cannot be drawn back or cancelled.
  19.
  20.
  21.
  22. When it says “the GIFTS of God,” our minds shouldn’t go on the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit such as prophecies, tongues, knowledge, and so forth (1 Corinthians 12:8-10). This is because it is written that “LOVE never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away” (1 Corinthians 13:8).
  23.
  24.
  25.
  26. Therefore when it says “the GIFTS of God,” it is referring to (1) our SALVATION, (2) the HOLY SPIRIT, and (2) the KINGDOM OF GOD.
  27.
  28. The Scripture passages below proves that these three (3) elements are “GIFTS,” and they are “IRREVOCABLE”
  29.
  30.
  31.
  32. (1) Concerning our SALVATION, the Bible says, “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the GIFT of God” (Ephesians 2:8). We must understand that the Forgiveness of Sins, Sanctification, and Justification are also “IRREVOCABLE GIFTS,” but they are included in the SALVATION as a package.
  33.
  34.
  35.
  36. (2) Concerning THE HOLY SPIRIT, the Scripture says, “Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the GIFT of the Holy Spirit” (Acts 2:38).
  37.
  38.
  39.
  40. JESUS also said, “And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you FOREVER – the SPIRIT of Truth, whom the world cannot receive...” (John 14:16-17). This means the HOLY SPIRIT is an “IRREVOCABLE GIFT”
  41.
  42.
  43.
  44. (3) And concerning the KINGDOM OF GOD, JESUS said, “Do not fear little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to GIVE YOU the Kingdom” (Luke 12:32). It means God has given us the Kingdom as a “GIFT” through the RIGHTEOUSNESS OF JESUS according to God the “Father’s good pleasure.”
  45.
  46. That’s why the Apostle Paul confirmed this by saying, “Having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to the good pleasure which He purposed in Himself (Ephesians 1:9).
  47.
  48.
  49.
  50. But we must also not forget that these “GIFTS of God” came to us through our FAITH in the WATER, the BLOOD and the RESURRECTION of JESUS CHRIST. And these “GIFTS” according to the Word of Truth “are IRREVOCABLE.” What a blessing!
  51.
  52.
  53.
  54. Every other GIFT will fail, and it will cease, and it will also vanish away. However, the “GIFT” of God’s “LOVE” which saved us from our sins once and for all abides forever. Therefore when it says that, “For God so LOVED the world that HE GAVE His only begotten Son,” it means God gave us His Son as a “GIFT” through His “LOVE.”
  55.
  56.
  57.
  58. God’s “LOVE” is a free GIFT. That’s why He said in Hosea, “I will heal their backsliding, I will LOVE them freely, for My anger has turned away from him. I will be like a dew to Israel” (Hosea 14:4). Paul the Apostle explains that this “GIFT” of God’s “LOVE,” is the greatest (1 Corinthians 13:13). That is why he said that, “Though I speak with tongues of men and of angels, but have not LOVE, I have become soundless brass or a clanging cymbal” (1 Corinthians 13:1).
  59.
  60.
  61.
  62. Here the Bible is saying that if a Christian is a SINNER and he or she has not been made RIGHTEOUS by the “LOVE” of God and he speaks in tongues, then he is making a useless noise which is a “soundless brass” and “clanging cymbal”. Paul the Apostle also said, “And though I have the GIFT of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not LOVE, I am nothing” (I Corinthians 13:3).
  63.
  64.
  65.
  66. This passage is also telling us that, if a Christian pastor or prophet is able to prophecy and it comes to pass, and his faith is so big that he even commands the mountains to move and it moves, but he does not have the “LOVE” of God that has washed away his SINS through the WATER and the BLOOD of JESUS, then he is “nothing” according to the Holy Word of God. The passage in 1 Corinthians 13:1-3 is telling us that, when it says in Romans 11:29 that “the GIFTS of God are IRREVOCABLE,” it is not talking about the nine ministerial gifts of the Holy Spirit, but it is talking about (1) our SALVATION, (2) the HOLY SPIRIT Himself, and (3) the KINGDOM OF GOD
  67.
  68.
  69.
  70. The part two of this message will be continued....
  71.
  72.
  73.
  74. THANK You LORD! For You have BLESSED us with the knowledge of Truth in CHRIST.
  75.
  76.
  77.
  78.
  79.
  80.
  81.
  82.
  83. GOD’S GIFTS AND CALLING ARE IRREVOCABLE (Part 2)
  84.
  85.
  86.
  87. Our Scripture reading today is a continuation of the previous day. So let’s read the same chapter and verse of Romans which says:
  88.
  89.
  90.
  91. “For the GIFTS and the CALLING of God are IRREVOCABLE” (Romans 11:29).
  92.
  93.
  94.
  95. The previous day, we were able to look at the first part of this verse which says, the GIFTS of God...are IRRIVOCABLE.” But today we will take a look at the subsequent verse which says, “the CALLING of God are IRREVOCABLE”
  96.
  97.
  98.
  99. When our Scripture reading talks about “the CALLING of God,” the Holy Spirit explains this “CALLING” through the Apostle Paul in the following words: “Who has saved us and CALLED us with a HOLY CALLING, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was GIVEN TO US in CHRIST JESUS before time began” (2 Timothy 1:9).
  100.
  101.
  102.
  103. When it says that God “saved us and CALLED us,” it means that God’s “CALLING” is based on His salvation. So if you are “saved,” then you are “CALLED,” and if you are “CALLED,” then you are “saved.” The passage further tells us that God “CALLED us with a HOLY CALLING.” This means God “CALLED us” to make us “HOLY.” That is why the Epistle to the Ephesians tells us that God chose us in Christ before the foundations of the world, “that we should be made HOLY and blameless before Him in love” (Ephesians 1:4).
  104.
  105.
  106.
  107. We must therefore know that God “CALLED us with a HOLY CALLING.” However, there are some so called “Pastors” who are SINNERS, and yet they say that they received a CALL from God after graduating from the Bible School. What kind of CALL is that? Is it a telephone CALL or what?
  108.
  109. Such “Pastors” are liars because God’s “CALLING” is not based on a seminary graduation, but rather it occurs when we respond to God’s “CALLING” by having FAITH in the WATER BAPTISM and the BLOOD of JESUS CHRIST.
  110.
  111.
  112.
  113. If a person decides to do a ministerial work by going to the Bible school out of his own choice and he graduates as a stillborn SINNER, then he must know that He has not received any CALL from God. Such a person has designed his own CALLING which is not in accordance with God’s will. When we speak this way, it is not based on our own personal interest and affiliation. We speak based on Scripture. We are not against the Bible Schools, but one thing we must know is that the HOLY BIBLE is a BOOK OF SALVATION. Therefore if a person graduates from the study of the HOLY BOOK and he is still a SINNER, then he has studied nothing.
  114.
  115.
  116.
  117. If a person graduate from the study of the HOLY BIBLE, then he must be made “HOLY” for sure through JESUS CHRIST who is the WORD of the BIBLE. How can someone graduate from the HOLY BOOK and remain a stillborn SINNER? If somebody studies biology, he becomes a biologist, if he studies chemistry, he becomes a chemist, if he studies medicine, he becomes a medical doctor, if he studies archaeology, he becomes archaeologist. Also if a person learns a vocational training such as carpentry, he becomes a carpenter, if he studies a masonry, he becomes a mason.
  118.
  119.
  120.
  121. If a novice studies mathematics, he becomes a mathematician. Therefore if a person studies the HOLY BIBLE and he graduates, then he must become a HOLY PERSON. So how can somebody graduate from the Bible School and still be a SINNER who ministers as a SINFUL Pastor? The only thing we can say about this is that those who graduate as SINFUL STUDENTS went to a Sinful School not a Bible School. Every Bible School must be able to teach Students their SINFUL NATURE, and how JESUS the LAMB of God “took away the sin of the world” (John 1:29).
  122.
  123.
  124.
  125. A Bible School must not fail to tell it’s students that JESUS fulfil all righteousness for them when He received BAPTISM from John (Matthew 3:15).
  126.
  127. If a Bible School gives correct teachings to its students, then they will graduate as RIGHTEOUS STUDENTS because the BIBLE is about JESUS CHRIST who came to “save His people from their sins” (Matthew 1:21) through His water baptism, blood and the Spirit (His resurrection).
  128.
  129.
  130.
  131. Our reading tells us that, God “CALLED us with a HOLY CALLING, not according to our works.” But people graduate from the Bible School and when they minister in their various churches, they tell their followers to obey the Law of Moses and to pay their tithes faithfully so that God will bless them. They tell their followers that if they don’t pay their tithes God will curse them. But I want to ask the Bible School Pastors the following question: “If God will curse somebody for not paying his tithes, then WHY did the Bible says that “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us...” (Galatians 3:13)?
  132.
  133.
  134.
  135. Pastors who preach like that have not received Gods “CALLING” at all. They are the ones to whom JESUS said, “And in vain they worship Me, TEACHING as doctrines the commandments of men” (Matthew 15:9). Since the BIBLE is HOLY, we must know that only the HOLY SPIRIT can teach it through His holy serveants. The LORD told us that the HOLY SPIRIT is the TEACHER of the HOLY BIBLE. He said, “But the Helper, the HOLY SPIRIT, whom the Father will send in My name, He will TEACH you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you” (John 14:26).
  136.
  137.
  138.
  139. But unfortunately, many pastors and teachers have never been taught or trained by the HOLY SPIRIT, and so they and their followers are all SINNERS. But those who follow the teachings of God’s true servants who have undergone the TEACHINGS of the HOLY SPIRIT will become RIGHTEOUS, and they will never remain SINNERS. It is rather unfortunate that many SINNERS are teaching the HOLY BIBLE in the Bible Schools. Therefore it is no news if their students graduate as SINNERS because their Teachers are also SINNERS. The Bible Schools CALL SINNERS to come for study, and after graduation they minister as SINNERS.
  140.
  141.
  142.
  143. How can this be? It is very terrible! We know that God CALL SINNERS through His Words in the HOLY BIBLE and He makes them “HOLY” and RIGHTEOUS through the Baptism and the Blood of JESUS CHRIST. This is what the Bible refer to as “a HOLY CALLING.” It will even surprise you that many pastors and teachers who graduate from the so called “Bible School” are standing against the true gospel of the salvation of JESUS. Yet the very same people will tell you that they receive a CALL from God to minister. It is such a pity!
  144.
  145.
  146.
  147. God “CALLED” us through His Words in the HOLY BIBLE which talks about the salvation of JESUS CHRIST who came by His WATER and BLOOD to make us “HOLY and without blame” (Ephesians 1:4).
  148.
  149.
  150.
  151. This “CALLING” of God whereby He makes you “HOLY and without blame” is “IRREVOCABLE.”
  152.
  153.
  154.
  155. The part three (3) of this message continues....
  156.
  157.
  158.
  159. Let us Give THANKS to God for His “IRREVOCABLE CALLING”
  160.
  161.
  162.
  163.
  164.
  165.
  166. GOD’S GIFTS AND CALLING ARE IRREVOCABLE (Part 3)
  167.
  168. Today we will take a final look at the verse in Romans to conclude our study. It says:
  169.
  170.
  171.
  172. “For the GIFTS and the CALLING of God are IRREVOCABLE” (Romans 11:29).
  173.
  174.
  175.
  176. This short verse which has become our subject of study for the past two days is indeed a Word of BLESSING from God. There are some people who as a result of their FLESHLY mindset, think that if we believe and preach God’s everlasting redemption and eternal forgiveness, we will commit more SINS. Those who have such thoughts do not know the will of God, and neither do they understand His eternal purpose.
  177.
  178.
  179.
  180. Even during the Apostles time, such people existed. They thought that if we believe that God’s “GIFTS and CALLING are IRREVOCABLE,” which means we are saved forever and forgiven eternally once and for all, we will commit more sins. They accused the Apostles for preaching the gospel of GRACE which they claim will make people commit SINS intentionally. That’s why Paul said, “And why not say, “Let us do evil that good may come”? – as we are slanderously reported and as some affirm that we say. Their condemnation is just” (Romans 3:8).
  181.
  182.
  183.
  184. When you read the first part of the verse above, you may find it difficult to understand, but when you read the second part of it which says, “as we are slanderously reported and as some affirm that we say,” it becomes clear. Paul was saying that some people were accusing them falsely that their preaching says we can commit more SINS because of the GRACE which speaks about God’s “IRREVOCABLE GIFTS and CALLING.” They were accusing the Apostles that since they don’t preach people to obey the Law of Moses, but they are preaching that God’s “CALLING” which is salvation and His “GIFTS” which is the Holy Spirit and His Kingdom are “IRREVOCABLE,” then they are telling people to commit more SINS.
  185.
  186.
  187.
  188. When the preachers of God’s RIGHTEOUSNESS are accused this way, it is very painful. That’s why Paul spoke bitterly against such people by saying that, “Their condemnation is just.” These words means that it is just and fair for God to judge such people and send them to hell. It is not because of the GRACE and God’s RIGHTEOUSNESS which makes human beings commit SINS, but rather it is the nature of all human FLESH. Even before God created Adam and Eve, He knew they will SIN. Did Adam SINNED because of the GRACE?
  189.
  190.
  191.
  192. Did anybody preached the gospel of GRACE to Adam which made him commit SINS by disobeying God’s Law? Those who accuse the RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD will surely be judged and condemned. That’s why “Their condemnation is just.”Just go to the various churches who don’t know the gospel of GRACE, and you will see that they are confessing their SINS everyday. Why is it that they don’t know the GRACE of God’s eternal forgiveness, but they still commit SINS?
  193.
  194.
  195.
  196. Therefore if somebody claim that the gospel of GRACE will make people commit more SINS, it is a blatant lie and baseless. It is the nature of everybody to SIN, and not because of the GRACE. That’s why it is written that, “For there is not a JUST MAN on earth who does GOOD and does not SIN” (Ecclesiastes 7:20).
  197.
  198. It is very strange that whiles we tell people to believe in the true gospel which can deliver their soul from SIN once and for all, the agents of Satan are also saying that the gospel of the JESUS BAPTISM and the SPIRIT which we are preaching will make people commit more SINS.
  199.
  200.
  201.
  202. Those accusations will come but we should not be discouraged. The only thing I want to say is that, those of us who have received God’s “IRREVOCALE GIFTS and CALLING” must give ceaseless thanks to Him. Many people have not received God’s true salvation, and so they don’t know the value of it. But those of us who have received the abundance of God’s grace and the free gift of His RIGHTEOUSNESS (Romans 5:17) which are “IRREVOCALE,” are grateful to God. When God tells you that His “GIFTS and the CALLING are IRREVOCABLE,” how do you feel? Are you not thankful? Are you not grateful for His abundant mercies?
  203.
  204.
  205.
  206. If God has not done this for us, we would have been thrown into the Lake of Fire. Hell is not a place where people will spend 1000 billion years. People who got to hell will spend eternity there. It is their final and everlasting destination. That is why God delivered us from our SINS once and for all by giving us His “IRREVOCABLE GIFTS” absolutely for free through the BAPTISM, the BLOOD, and the RESURRECTION of JESUS CHRIST.
  207.
  208.
  209.
  210. Hell is also an IRREVOCABLE place which God has prepared for FALLEN ANGELS and SINNERS. But for those who overcome the untruth with the true gospel, Heaven is their “IRREVOCABLE” and final destination. We must ponder about God’s goodness everyday which has saved our soul and give thanks to Him.
  211.
  212. The apostle Paul who had perfect understanding of God’s divine purpose for mankind through His “IRREVOCALE GIFTS and CALLING” was lost with words, and they only thing he could say was, “Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!” (Romans 11:33).
  213.
  214.
  215.
  216. Its rather unfortunate and very sad that many people refuse to receive the true gospel. But let’s continue to pray for them and do our best according the abilities which God has supplied to each one of us to spread the gospel. But dearly beloved, you must really be thankful to God in your daily life as His child. This is because when you think of how CHRIST offered Himself to take away your sins in the Jordan river, and how he was brutalize and judged for your SINS which culminated His death on the cross, then His love for you is beyond comprehension.
  217.
  218.
  219.
  220. God became a baby because of our SINS, and He partook of the same flesh and blood which we have (Hebrews 2:14). He did this so that He can receive the BAPTISM from John the Baptism in order to fulfil all RIGHTEOUSNESS for us. His LOVE for us is awesome.
  221.
  222.
  223.
  224. Let us give THANKS to GOD for His “IRREVOCABLE GIFT” of salvation through JESUS CHRIST.
