- [18:12] Augustus Griffith sat in the Coliseum though he had a feeling it wasn't really one anymore. No one fought in it and that was long before Ken decided to destroy everything for his amusement. It was empty and vacant minus himself as he stood where the men of Rome were supposed to sit. He looked out and felt disappointed by what had happened in this timeline. The world he knew collapsed all because a few things weren't invented and overextension of troops. Pitiful really, but yet this world's Rome was stubborn. It stood tall like a noble man claiming his value after losing everything. All the Roman could do was watch, pulling his legs up to his chin as he looked out to where his people would rather and find the best shows on Earth.
- [18:19] Winter Witch didn't really have much of a stake in the world as a whole. At least not this world, really.. She was here for reasons, of course, but those reasons didn't exactly leave her with much of a target to go to. She'd heard there was a man up in Sweden that could maybe be someone to meet and offer her services to, but that was something she was holding her breath for. The world's population was really pretty pathetic here, supposedly a number of them left for some reason or another.. or died. Depressing, but there might still have been enough people worth fighting for. Might have been. For now, though, the Witch Taiga had found herself someone interesting, someone with a faint hint of power on them that she could catch a whiff of even so far up in the clouds where she sat on her broom. Hooking her ankles together, the witch slides off her broom, letting her body hang upside down (clothes somehow defying gravity and her hat staying on her head) before she descends rapidly. She'd come to a sudden halt when she fell into the Colosseum, nearly nose-to-nose with the brooding Augustus, a sparkling smiling on her face. "Well hello there, handsome boy~" She states, heedless of the surprise he might have at a witch suddenly being face-to-upside-down-face with him with very little clue she was descending - Magic Brooms were very quiet.
- [18:37] Augustus Griffith felt her power long before the witch fell, so tensed up his body right as she stopped and gave her a confused look. After all, he expected her to make a crater and not deny gravity. After she finished talking, he simply smiled back. "Hello pretty miss. Mind going back up before I kiss those beautiful lips?" He asked while extending his hand out to cup her cheek while leaning in closer. He didn't really have plans to actually have her kiss him, but he wouldn't pass up the chance for a good kiss or a cute reaction from the suggestion of it. The roman was going to be cheesy as he spoke, brushing his thumb over her cheek while giving her the SMOLDER. The exaggerated seductive look while leaning in and watch her expression, bracing for a good shove.
- [18:46] Winter Witch smirks. She was -technically- defying gravity, sure, the broom she was hooked onto shouldn't by all accounts actually be floating in the air.. but magic was magic and that was that. The reason her skirt didn't show off her unmentionables and her hat didn't fall off her head? Witch charms, it was all part of riding a broom to remain decent while doing it. All the same, the witch doesn't actually react poorly to the suggestion of a kiss; the woman simply raises an eyebrow at the suggestion and touch of the hand to her cheek. "Well.. as tempting an offer as a spider-man style kiss might be.. I'm here on business." The broom lifts as she pulls away and then drops off, landing standing on the seat just below Augustus. "My name is Witch Taiga, mistress of winter... Or the Winter Witch, if you like that more." The witch.. didn't really look all that witchy except for the outfit.. one might think of crones and such when thinking of witches, but this one was.. almost insufferably beautiful: bright smile, long silken raven hair, well proportioned curves, and a voice that didn't so much caress the ear as it was just simply nice to listen to for most folks. How much of this might have been artificially created with magic was.. hard to judge. "I need to finally dust myself off and try to gauge how strong the people are here. Fight me, won't you?"
- [19:18] Augustus Griffith quickly started to process what she gave him. A piece of him wanted to dismiss the fact that someone was a "witch of winter" or that anyone would go by the name "spider-man". The fact she didn't pull away or act flustered meant she was mature, what he'd expect from someone like her and especially of her rank. It was odd that the witch of winter was actually nice instead of having a colder personality. His eyes looked over the beauty that now sat beside him, enjoying what he saw. "Of course, its not like I got nothing better to do." He gave out a small grunt before pushing himself out of his seat. "Though just in case, I will apologize for whatever happens Ms. Taiga." He offered his hand do to her so that he could help her up, he was a gentleman after all. "And if I should prove to be fragile, I will accept your own apologies." The roman said with a soft smile. His pony tail falling over his shoulder, showing his purple bow that take his hair together. His scarf on the other hand stayed close to his neck, not budging at all.
- [19:36] Winter Witch actually was already standing, but nonetheless she appreciates the offer with a small smile, "Now now. No acting nice, this is a serious time for serious matters. At least for the moment." The Colosseum behind her was more than big enough to have a spar in.. sure there was the whole 'ancient relic' thing, but she didn't figure that sort of stuff mattered too much in this world anymore. Taiga reaches out and snags her broom, using it to lift herself up as she picks herself up off the seat and hovers her way backwards, to the middle of the sandy arena. "But lets not hold back, if it's all the same. I know you won't be as strong as the Sinister, so I want to gauge how well I can stand up to you!" She lands in the sand, her broom flying over to lean against the far wall like a good and proper broom should, "I never caught your name, by the way! And charge me anytime you're ready, we'll start when you hit the sand of the floor!"
- [19:58] Augustus Griffith was a bit confused what she said to him. "It isn't like we can't be a bit nice and tell others that their kindness isn't an act." He said while Taiga reached out for her broom and soon started to hoop seat to seat as he followed below her. "I had no plan Ms. Taiga!" He said before stopping at the railing. He looked down at the sandpit and smirked a bit to himself, it had been a while since he had stepped into a proper arena. "Augustus!" He said before leaping out of the stands and land onto his feet. The roman didn't attack and instead simply removed his scarf instead and wrapped it around his hand.
- [20:16] Winter Witch had a pretty big gap between them - the arena floor was no joke when it came to the size of it - so it was a bit hard to call all the way over without hurting her voice... It helped, of course, that things were mostly quiet in Rome.. honestly she wouldn't be surprised if she had heard a pin drop outside this place. "I'm not calling what you're doing an act, I'm just saying that we can't pull shots if we're going to be fighting for real - you seem like the type of guy that'd pull shots because I'm female!" The witch lets out a breath and releases her SOUL PROTECT, the lock that kept her feeling human instead of witch as her soul energy expands outwards.. It felt.. really good to be letting her energy out for once.. Like a good, long stretch after a car ride. "Word of advice, Auggy, you should never let a spellcaster maintain this kind of distance between you and your target~ I'm going to be throwing stuff at you pretty damn soon~!" Taiga focuses on her Soul Energy, letting it build inside her and expand outwards as she gathers power to herself. {❄}
- [20:29] Noodle Anderson: "Uhmmm hello?" He said peaking in slifmghtly. "I uhm, recieved an Order for GoldLuck Ramen? " he inquires to noone as he carefully peeked around.
- [20:32] Augustus Griffith chuckled. "Then, you have misread me! I only pull my punches for those who I think are weak, and you don't seem weak to me." He said while simply approaching the witch, gathering power into his body. The energy being focused into his first chakra pool and being broken down. It was poor as it was only 1 Star quality as the dead having been removed long ago and the presence of death having long passed the Coliseum. Power flowing into him was broken down to mix with his own, the rest being ejected from his body. "Now spellcaster, show me how a witch of the seasons battles!" He said before bolting towards Taiga, his hand wrapped firmly within his scarf now. His speeds were faster than what a human should be able to manage, especially for how young and small he was. The child would quickly start to close the distance between them and hoping to force a show of the witch's skills.

- [20:37] Winter Witch hadn't engaged in close range combat in.. years, really. When you dealt with most of your issues with the casting of a spell, it didn't leave a lot of enemy for when things finally closed in... Not to say Taiga was a dope when it came to a little punching, but she didn't much prefer it. Unlike Augustus that seemed to draw his power from the environment around him, Taiga's power came completely from within in the form of her Soul Energy, she could charge it with a little effort. She'd let him close for now, as she instead opts to lift her arms and press them together, using the little time she had to focus and amp up the energy buzzing within her. She'd be ready to respond to a punch or attack in general when Auggy finally got to her, but for now she simply channeled her energy. {❄❄❄}
- [20:48] Augustus Griffith didn't wait for her to simply not attack. He could see her power raising with the pair of eyes that Raiku had given him, now knowing she had something in store for him when he approached. Honestly, he had no idea what she could make outside of ice or how quickly she could make her magic. So he stopped running, about 15 yards away from Taiga and whipped his arm around, having his scarf extend rapidly across that distance to wrap around one of her arms and pull it towards himself to knock her off balance. If he could get her caught up within his crimson scarf, it would quickly retract and drag the woman towards himself. His eyes shifting around quickly either way, unsure of what she would try to hit him with in response.

- [20:57] Winter Witch had a good fifteen feet between herself and the boy, a sweet smile coming to her features as he stops short and moves to attack. Something ranged.. a knife, perhaps? The only real reason to wrap a scarf around an arm that she could think of would be to disguise an important weapon to keep it from view, or that the scarf was- Yep, it was the scarf that was the weapon. She couldn't avoid the overly quick nature of the scarf since it was like an extending arm, but she does lift her left arm up to offer it to the grasping garment. The important thing about getting someone off balance, though, was to do something that was unpredictable: be stronger, be faster, be random.. While Auggy was probably stronger than her, maybe, he gave her more than enough time to square her stance and dig her heels into the ground so that when the scarf pulls at the witch, it finds itself unable to just PULL her forward given the witch's superior grounding. Not content to just sit there any longer, Taiga's right arm darts up, fingers seeking to wrap around the cloth of the scarf. "Ice, Ice, Sleet, Hail... Ice, Ice, Sleet, Hail.." She intones as she {SUMMONS: ICE}! With an explosion and crackle of energy, clear sheets of ice seek to run up the scarf, using its connection to Taiga like a conduit as the spell races along, leaving the scarf encased in a massive, jagged formation of pure magical ice. Auggy, for his part, probably wanted to break this connection as soon as possible, or else the ice would continue to travel up the scarf and likely encase HIM in ice as well.
- [21:00] Winter Witch er, forgot to add that she expended all {❄❄❄} to do this.
- [21:14] Augustus Griffith knew what she was going to do. The clues were too obvious to miss and he didn't dare waste time to simply listen to her say those words. She was about to freeze his scarf and shatter it, the thought prompting him to panic. By the time she said her first Sleet, the roman sent the energy residing inside throughout the other two and have them rapidly turn gold. In a blur of motion, his hand was from his scarf and he was rushing towards the witch. The ice being far from reaching him by that time, being only half way through as started charging towards her, his speed being at least twice as fast before he activated this power he called VICTORIA. She had expended everything on that one move and Augustus had no intentions of letting Taiga regain it as easily. He didn't move to tackle her, but instead move opted to slide that last few feet to knock the woman down. Once she was on the ground, the young man would roll towards her and aim an elbow at her chin.

- [21:27] Winter Witch had made a calculated risk that had not paid off in the end. Given that the scarf was a centerpiece of his outfit, she had assumed that Augustus would find its removal from the fight to be a great detriment, enough to throw the fight? She couldn't have hoped for that much, but she hadn't expected him to recoup so nicely from the loss and what's more, actually turn that loss into an advantage: Taiga had to take time to break the ice off where the scarf was grabbing her, snapping it (Or just making it slide off to prevent the garment's destruction) to free herself.. she couldn't realistically free herself AND counter Augustus's slide. The witch has her feet taken out from under her, landing heavily on her side in the sand.. which wasn't all that bad since it was sand, but the thunking elbow crushing itself into her chin was something that hurt as her teeth are forced together with a loud -click- and stars pop in her vision. It was a good hit, but not enough to keep a witch down for long considering it had no magical punch behind the blow. Almost as soon as it lands, the witch attempts to reach both hands down to grab hold of the elbow as it withdraws, her legs moving around and about as she attempts to put the boy into the Ronda Rousey Armbar classic with her legs over his front and his arm pulled back into an uncomfortable position, to say the least. For a curvy woman, the witch was as limber as a weasel.
